#cutting #jumprings is so therapeutic! I love making chainmaille. I've spent the whole morning making chainmaille with my little girls. One is nine and the other is 7. They are learning the basic European 4 in 1 weave. They are so excited. I can't wait to see the creations that they come up with in a few years from now. We had a regular factory going on too. My 7 year old was wrapping the wire around the dowel, I was sawing the rings apart, and my nine year old was prepping the rings for weaving. And my 7 year old is so funny, cuz the whole time she has been pretending that we are making a YouTube tutorial. 😂

I just got this new wood burning tool yesterday. It has been a long time since I did wood burning, and I really wanted to teach my children this wonderful skill. I did the leaf on a cut of wood off off a log that was headed for the woodstove. My two oldest boys did the other two. The snow is finally melting! It just warmed up here. It is now in the 20's and 30's. This is my first time walking outside in about 6 weeks.
