I made this #armybomb light for @xelysiax I had no idea what this even was. For how small the “canvas” is, it was a challenging project for me because I know nothing about #kpop or anything about the designs. But I did my research and actually became infatuated with the idea of going to a kpop concert just to partake in the light show. If you’ve never seen a concert I suggest doing a quick YouTube search and see how the lights all connect via blue tooth and where you are seated. It’s crazy to think that something so small and delicate can bring about feelings of joy, excitement, pain or regret. You can find beauty in both. This is a @chiappafirearms .357 Rhino against #africandaisies. All of the weapons I’ve been painting are machines that I’ve gotten a chance to hold(except for the gold desert eagle, it was all black). I remember vividly holding them. How they weighed in my hands. How I couldn’t believe that we’ve been able to create such machines. How in the blink of an eye you can change yours or someone else’s whole life. It doesn’t matter to me whether you are for or against gun ownership. These things exist and someone’s reason for owning one will differ from the next. I’m not advocating for or against gun rights here. I just find beauty in the looks of these particular weapons. The juxtaposition of these man made machines against these naturally occurring flowers.
