One time when I was working at the mall in a clothing store this probably 60-something woman came in, looked me directly in the eye and asked if we had any flamingoes. I asked if she meant items with flamingo prints on them, since we were selling summer party supplies and some of them had flamingo print on them. She assured me that she didn't want any party supplies or toys, she just wanted a flamingo. Not a stuffed animal flamingo, but an actual flamingo.
To this day I wonder how the rest of her day went.
