When I was a kid, there was this story in the bible about this guy staying to work on a farm for years in order to get the farmer's daughter to marry him, and that sonehow lead me to believe that people in bible times lived hundreds of years, because I could not fathom someone working that long just to marry someone. Perhaps that was a pretty early sign that I was aromantic

people are so mean about horror movie victims like. sorry but if i had gone to a cabin in the woods with my friends as a teenager you couldn't have stopped us from reading aloud from the evil tome. how were they supposed to know the ancient curse was real they're like 17

Thank you so much!!! I wanted to make it very cheerful, like all the good memories of his vids. I ended up basing some of his features off of Porco Rosso, and I think that Ghibli charm really helped bring a shine to him!

Well... here he is. After throwing away a sculpture of him I was working on when he passed, starting a new one a year later, and working on it intermittently between not being able to even look at it for weeks or months... he's done.

Alongside the sculpture is a pic of really old fanart, plus some stickers I found at work the day he passed. Funny seeing how far I've come with my art. Even just through making the sculpture, there are these giant gaps in skill all over it. I got so much better at sculpting throughout this process that you can see which are the older pieces, just due to the quality being worse lol. In a way, that just makes me so much prouder of it. It's the first polymer clay sculpture I've ever finished, and the third I've ever attempted. There's a lot wrong with the sculpture, but I'm happy.

Other than that, I can't thank Techno enough for being a funny guy on the internet who made some of my worst days a little easier. I would never want some new person to replace you, because you made me realise just how great it was that there could only ever be one you, and made me think that maybe it's a good thing that I am the person that I am.

Had a dream that I was making dumplings, and was going to fill them with chantilly cream, but stopped and went "no, thats not right, dumplings are savoury.", so I filled them with chicken cream. What's chicken cream? Couldn't tell you.

modern empath crisis of faith

I am VERY sensitive to caffeine, as in half a shot of an espresso makes me incredibly jittery, unfocused and anxious, so a cup of black tea is like any one else's cup of coffee.

After I drink tea, wearing my high prescription glasses makes me feel like it's too intense, so I have to take them off for stuff like reading or drawing, when I usually have to wear them to do that.

Very odd.
