Yea, I thought that was obvious. Probably should have said `allo` instead of `allosexual`, but I couldnt think of the term for non-Aspec people :/ consider it a personal fuck up and another example of how the two are inseparable (even to those (ex. me) in the community)

but the fact of the matter is that i could write a novel about being aromantic, and it would be praised as aroace literature. i could make a character that's aromantic and fans would praise them as aroace representation. i can't find a single post about being aromantic that hasn't had asexuality mentioned in the tags a thousand times over. do you not see the issue with that

I feel like a lot of this is that allosexual people dont conceptualize them as different things. Romantic attraction equals sexual attraction and vice versa. And yea they understand attraction bases on "types" and that there are different standards to measure, but fundamentally... If you want to date men you must want to fuck them too. If you want to fuck women you must want to date them.

I mean, its baked in to how we talk about it. Its your `Sexuality`. There is no romantic equivalent. Go on a dating site and the options are sexualities. Every time a form asks my sexuality I have to decide whether romantic or sexual attraction is what they want.
