Summary:

Katsuki made a meek attempt to turn the device on to see if it still worked, but it was useless – the phone was dead. Great. They were stranded in the fucking desert, with no means to call for help. “Oi, Deku”, Katsuki shakes the boy’s shoulder, trying to wake him up. “C’mon, you’ve slept enough. Wake up”. For some reason, that works. Deku’s eyelids flutter before they open, and Katsuki sees Deku’s hazy gaze meet the sky, eyes unfocused. He blinks a few times and tries to wet his lips before he looks around, empty eyes locking on Katsuki. Alternatively: Bakugou and Midoriya are in plane crash. Bakugou has to take care of Midoriya and help him survive.

Notes: Sick fic + survival mixed together in the best possible way. Heavy on the angst but it has a happy ending.

Notes: While this fic does not tag it, it does have a bittersweet/sort of unhappy ending. I found the fic premise very unique and emotionally raw. Definitely one of the stand out angst fics that I have read.

It’s not his fault it doesn’t work! Deku did something. Katsuki is sure of it. Or Katsuki wakes up in an alternate universe where he’s quirkless and Deku is his bully.

Notes: Cool concept and fun banter between alternate Deku and original Katsuki. It's only one chapter but it makes you want to see more on how Katsuki would proceed if he was stuck in this universe. I also really like this author, so if you like the story try checking out their other works.
