Sometimes, you look around people who still keep manipulative and generally horrible parents in their lives and can't help but wonder if you dodged a bullet by having a parent who was an abject monster. It's an old, well - healed wound and there is nothing that he could do to exert any kind of hold over me anymore, and I wonder, if he was just a little bit less awful, a little more contrite, would I have felt compelled to let him back in? Or is it just me, being a consummate bridge arsonist?

remembering Lou Sullivan (june 16, 1951 - march 2, 1991) this second day of pride month. an early trans- man activist who advocated for ftm folks to get the care and find the community need.

i feel that transmen are often overlooked when we remember figures of the past during pride month. and that those of us currently living are often overlooked and left out of wellwishes from folks inside and outside the lgbtq+ community. so i wanted to post this and wish nothing but love, happiness, safety, inclusion, and belongingness to my fellow trans- men, transmascs, ftm folks, and any configuration of identity here. i love you, and i see you.

I don't think anyone was quite ready for how thoroughly and quickly the Labour leadership, with Keir Starmer in charge, has thrown almost every marginalized group of people under the bus, and bailed out on any election promise that would make a difference to the horrific state of the world we find ourselves in.

Separately, I can't wait for the inevitable, absolutely psychotic response of the British electorate that will be electing either Nigel Farage for prime minister or some even more violent and bigoted version of the tory party.

I was thinking about: how do you make agitprop with a little more nuance, and it's not great, but I think it's something.

The supreme court ruling was just so unimaginably cruel. I guess TERF Island is living up to it's name. So take this, print it, stick it up around your neighbourhood. Write to your MPs, especially if you are a cis woman. Stand up for trans people in public. And don't let up. Trans people deserve so much better.
