*** SPOTTED January 17th 2020 - Paparazzi Encounters ***
Model and blogger Ada Michels were spotted out shopping on the streets of Newark Banks with her four children; eldest Maddox, Lennon and her youngest which are a set of twins, Saskia and Kit. Her husband River was nowhere to be seen.
When asked what she was doing out she simply replied, ‘Shopping with my children, what does it look like? Please leave us be.’ She refused to answer any more questions we had for her.

Today marks a solid seven years of marriage to my best friend. I have never met anyone quite like you, you're so unbelievably special to me. 7 years down, 4 kids and a lifetime to go.

You gave me the most amazing gift, our kids. I love you more than I can ever say. Happy Anniversary, River. 💖

Today’s the day..

As you can probably gather from the title and the two pictures, I did indeed get married just earlier today. It was a complete surprise to me as when River and I had been doing our wedding plans we settled on a date which was early next year, but he surprised me by making it today.

Last night he told me that I was going to stay at my friend Lights’ house for the night so that we could have a girls night and a major catch-up whilst her partner would be over at ours, along with Maddox. I was confused but agreed none of the less as I missed spending time with one of my best friend’s and would love to see her again. A few hours later I headed over to Lights’ house with my overnight bag and we had a long catch-up, myself blissfully and completely unaware of the fact that in under 24 hours I would be walking down the aisle and saying ‘I do’. The morning arrived sooner than expected, being awoken in the early hours of the morning by Lights as she told me I had to go for a shower as she had a surprise to show me. After my shower I had a text from River saying “Surprise.” to which I was confused until Lights brought my stunning wedding dress into the room and.. Well.. I kind of got what he meant. A few hours later and with the help of Lights, I was finally dressed and had my hair and make-up done.  Not long after Lights and myself were dressed we headed outside to be greeted with a limousine, getting into it as we made our way to the wedding venue. The rest you can gather. It was an amazing venue and I’m so proud of my husband for planning it all by himself. I’ll probably post some of the wedding pictures soon but for now I’m going to enjoy my honeymoon in Hawaii with my amazing husband! ~Ada xox

                     06/07/2020- Four Years Old

My sweetest little summer child is four today, how did that happen?! We’ve watched you grow from a shy, reserved little baby into a talkative tot. You’re so sweet, kind and loving. The best son and brother we could all ask for.

                     09/02/2020 - Seven Years Old

Today my first born turns seven years old, and although it still feels like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms for the first time, I’ve never been happier nor prouder to play such a significant part in your life. I’ve watched you grow from a tiny tot to a handsome, independent young man. I love you so much more than you will ever know and I am so proud you chose me to be your mama, Maddox.

                            22/11/19 - One Year Old

Happy birthday Saskia Augustine Michels and Kit Harrison Michels. I can’t believe my youngest babies are already a year old! How time flies, little ones. You were a big surprise to your father and me, we didn’t expect for the both of you to come along, we thought we were only due to have another boy so what a surprise it was when we attended our twenty-week scan to find our little angel girl along with our angel boy. You are such patient, loving, and kind little people already. 

I’m so blessed to be your mama. ♥

I cannot believe that my sweet summer child is three years old today. I still remember how shocked your father and I were to find out I was expecting you, not planned at all. You’ve been such a blessing in our lives, Lennon. We love you so very much and hope you enjoy your special day and all your presents.

                                              Six Month Update;

Today the twins hit their six-month milestone. They’re slowly learning to move around during tummy time and Saskia can almost sit up completely by herself! I cannot believe how big our littlest babies are getting, its crazy. River and I have been so blessed with our babies, we love watching them develop and grow into their own little characters.

We were blessed with taking our two new little angels home last Tuesday after almost a two-week stay in the hospital. These are some photos that we managed to capture throughout that stay.

I’m going to try to post a little bit more frequently about our family but with two newborns, a two-year-old and a five-year-old, it is quite hard.

P.s.

 We found out about Saskia at our 20-week scan and planned to keep her a secret until birth. We were shocked as it was to discover Ada was pregnant with twins, nevermind our first baby girl. Both are currently away to the NICU getting settled down and checked up on. Tests will be done on both babies to ensure their health is 100% before we can even think about taking them home.

My wife did an amazing job once again. I’m so very proud of her and glad to be a father again.

We’ve been here for seven hours now and only recently have been moved to our own private room. The doctors have come back with their results showing that I am indeed going into labour at 31 weeks and 3 days. Due to this, the little Michels’ will have to be monitored carefully to ensure there are no complications nor defects.

I’m feeling a little bit panicky and scared about giving birth this early seeing as with Maddox he was a week late and with Lennon, he was only a few days early. Praying nothing goes wrong and that everything goes according to the plan.

My waters broke around an hour and a half ago meaning its go time, especially since I’m already 4cm dilated. River will most likely be posting any remaining updates.

Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours. We didn’t expect to be spending all day and night in the hospital but unfortunately, that is the case! We went in today for our regular appointment and apparently my blood pressure was low, as well as having unusual cramps and backache which I never experienced in my previous pregnancies.

Both Maddox and Lennon are currently staying over at our friend Neriah’s house as it’s where they feel most comfortable due to it being so close to our home. 

The doctors are thinking I might be going into early labour but are currently doing tests to find out if that indeed is the case or whether its something else. Either River or I will update you guys when we know some more.

How far along: 31 weeks! Weight gain?: 24.5lbs. Maternity Clothes?: Baggy/Loose clothes at ALL times. Bump status: On show for all to see! Stretch marks?: No new ones. Sleep: Sooo. Muuuch. Sleeep. Baby purchases this week: Nothing needed. Best moment regarding baby this week: River’s feeling a lot more of the movements now. Gender: Boy! Movement: Lots of moving around! Food cravings: Fruits. Food aversions: Nothing. Miss anything?: Not being this big! I swear I’m piling on the pounds and I don’t understand how. Belly Button In or Out?: Out. Rings on or off?: On. What I am looking forward to?: The final checkup later this week. Our baby in veggie/fruit terms: Winter Squash!
