Been chasing a watercolor-like effect with underglazes for a billion years, it's very difficult to achieve because underglazes do not turn out the way they look when you paint them. I always apply to thick and too dark. I'm hopeful for this one. Not yet fired will post the results!

I figured out a new trick for keeping vessels round when taking them off the wheel

Red solo cup for the win! It creates a seal, traps the air inside, and keeps things stable while you move. I also have been placing the cups inside of my pots while I am carving or painting if they're still in greenware stage.

Hey, I’m just reaching out to people on Tumblr. You’ve probably heard of Jesus and God, but have you ever reached out to Jesus for problems in your life? Big or small. Not to make you uncomfortable, but did you know sin (in your life and other people’s lives) can really hurt you, it make feel like there is a void that is never satisfied. That void could be called a “God sized hole.” Sin sucks and not just in a societal cookie cutter way, but in a way that it feels like there is a decay within a person. That can be a lot to take in, but I hope it is good food for thought. I hope you’re having an awesome day!! 💕

you have made me uncomfortable. I hope you are also having an awesome day. I grew up in the church and the language you are using is incredibly damaging and offensive. You are suggesting I am rotting from the inside and that I am inherently an immoral person. Guess what, your religion could be right, Buddhism could be right, the flying spaghetti monster could be real - or nothing is. No one knows. Respect the differences and preach to others like Jesus did - with love, NOT condemnation- and he didn't preach to those who didn't want to hear it. Get off the internet and go do good deeds to others. Preach to others, but only use words if necessary.
