Everyone knows that there are two ways to get into media these days:
1. A tumblr mutuals indoctrination

I really thought "Snacktacular" was gonna be the winner but The Snack Zone logo is really good 😄 Also these nerf gun stakeouts are GREAT I can't believe their accuracy
i saw your tags on my jet lag the game reblog so i’m just dropping in to spread more propaganda in favor of it. i see your game changer header image—you would love this show. (also, the three recurring players—ben, adam, and sam—are friends of dropout! they were on season 4 episode 7 of dirty laundry!)
past game maps have included japan, switzerland, new york city, all of the schengen area, new zealand, southern europe, the whole US, australia, and in the circumnavigation season, the entire globe. some seasons are a game of tag, some are hide & seek, some are capture the flag/claiming territory, sometimes it's a race, and in the season that’s coming out right now, they’re playing a giant game of snake using an entire country's rail network. the players usually have to complete silly-but-surprisingly-difficult challenges to keep moving (i.e. play beethoven’s ode to joy pitch-perfectly on improvised instruments in a single attempt), and/or deal with curse cards played by their opponents (for the next two hours, you can only walk by rolling a die to determine how many steps you can take before you must roll again). and then on top of that, there’s still the regular curveballs and chaos of traveling, like how one delayed train can cascade into a chain reaction that ruins the entire plan.
it is exceptionally silly and well-edited and stressful and fun. the episodes come out a week early on nebula but they're all available on youtube. and you don't need to watch the seasons in order (they explain the rules each time because they change every season), so you can just start with whichever location looks most interesting to you. okay propaganda over byeeeee
Yessss this sounds right up my alley!!!!!! (Hi it's your beloved mutual @iamthevirago, my friend and I share this sideblog 😁)
I started the New Zealand board game series after I saw your post and I'm already on episode 4. I both love it and want to quit my job and do this for a living now. And you're right, the challenges are so creative and the editing is great!!

Having a really long-term hyperfixation that has since faded is terrifying yes but it's also so embarrassing. Hi I used to think about Scrimblo Splungus 25/7. Yeah, for 2 years straight. Nah, I don't think about them anymore except for with a vague sense of melancholy as I recall how they used to make me feel. Anyways this new one, Blimpkins McGee? I'm gonna think about them forever and the cycle will NOT repeat in 2 years. Trust me guys.

Gideon winked at her increasingly agitated companion. She said, sotto voce: “But then you couldn’t have admired … these”

been putting together nearly the entire Institute from The Magnus Archives in sketches (with immense help from @helloarchivist <33 ) this is all completely based on personal headcanons and imagination, going from the top floor to basement, don't question the size or layout this is all based on vibes alone lol
special shoutout also to @blackberreh-art for inspiring the big ass Eye window in Elias' office

Some Enzo, Cyril, & Vandal fanart becasue they are such fantastic little squad and I'm obsessed with ink demons as a concept. A million variations are running through my mind. CMYK printer ink demons, glitter pen ink demons, tattoo ink demons, highlighter ink demons, squid ink demons???? Beautiful possibilties.
