Hmm… Probably the way they talk. People’s voices can sound so different from one another, and I love it when someone talks and you can hear how happy they are.

I think from what he’s shared there’s really no way to know if what he feels are platonic or romantic feelings, because no one can decide that but himself. You think it’s all a coincidence, other people seem to think it’s definitely romantic, but it looks to me like Bede is still thinking it over. Whatever he’s said in the past might still hold true, or maybe that’s changed. Who knows. Until he definitively gives his stance on it, does it really matter that much either way? I mean, I’ve had a crush for seven years straight and I don’t feel the need to do anything. I wouldn’t stress about it, Wyverlyn!

And I think you’re very likable, for the record. You also probably shouldn’t speculate about what sort of person Bede would like, I have a feeling he would tell you off for that one.
