Yes I was thinking the same thing! With Miiko everything was not a field of roses 🌹, but she learned from her mistakes and let Erika be more in control of her life so we started on a negative 👉 positive basis.

With Huang Hua it's the opposite: positive base 👉 negative base in the new season.

We lose our friend to finally see a head guard who sees us as a pawn to play who MUST save Eldarya (Where is my consent please? 😐). I remember what she said to Miiko in the 1st season after the potion of oblivion: "And her feelings.(Erika), have you thought about it??!" .Now Huang Hua decides almost everything for us without us being able to say anything:

- 1st episode: she forbids us to let our friends / crushes know that we are alive so as not to create chaos in the guard, but she does a theatrical scene to announce her awakening, which embarrasses Erika.

- Even more embarassment: the statues. Erika may explain to Huang Hua that she really doesn't feel comfortable with that, she doesn't want to hear anything.

- Lance: Erika has every right to resent him because of the war, and even more if crush was Valkyon. But Huang Hua does not take us seriously and treats it as a common whim . Erika had said something like this in the French version: "When you need me to save the world, I'm an adult, but when I express what I feel, is it a kid's whim for you??" .

No trust : Huang Hua used to be clear and honest when talking to Erika. But now even Erika, who often gets on our nerves for her stupid choices😬, has realized that Huang Hua doesn't tell her everything.🤫😓

- a bit of manipulation: when Erika knows that Mathieu is a traitor but that she keeps this information for her🤭, Huang Hua begins to remind her how much Erika is a friend for her, but quickly suggests her suspicions about Mathieu so that Erika , awakened by her friendly feelings about Huang Hua🥺, spits out the information🗣.

I must admit that before covid I had thought about allergies too but only in a way xD

Erika is probably vaccinated for so many things that her immune system could do a good part of the job.

In contrast, the Eldaryans are mostly unvaccinated and have never set foot on Earth. They could have easily perished from diseases as when the colonizers who "discovered" America brought with them diseases the locals had never faced 💀💀

As we all know, I'm a man of science... So I have come with a new thing that I would like to complain about!!

Everyone would be allergic to the most random shit! Let me explain:

An allergy is when someone's immune system overreacts to a specific substance to the point of it being more dangerous than not doing anything. (At least that's how I understand it) An allergy can develop at any time during a person's life, either due to an immune response to something that is similar to something they've already fought or for no reason because mother nature is an abusive parent.

Most commonly, allergies develope during early childhood when the baby's immune system is still working itself out. If the child is exposed to allergens (such as tree nuts, pollens, fruits, non poisonous metals and fluffy animals) then it's less likely that their immune system freaks out over them later in life.

So, what I came to complain about is a collection of minute details that make me, a man of science, lose my shit.

Firstly. When Erika went to Eldarya she should have gotten the runniest runny nose this side of the Danube the moment she left HQ because her immune system has never been exposed to anything even remotely similar to the pollens there. (Assuming that they only use stuff from earth to season their food, this would not apply to her meals.) She would have went into anaphylactic shock and suffocated in the worst case scenario.

Secondly. Food allergy deaths would absolutely devastate the inhabitants of Eldarya because all of their food is imported and at any moment they could injest something new while not knowing what it is. It's likely that they aren't as concerned with introducing a wide variety of nutritious foods to their young ones because they need to make sure that they can eat anything at all. These people are at high risk of having impaired immune system due to food insecurity and that might also mean dieing from parasites that they aren't immune to.

Thirdly. When these people go to Earth for food they're guaranteed to have seasonal allergies because cities only plant male trees (despite female trees being exponentially better) because they don't 'litter' the ground with their fruits. The biggest downside of this is more pollens giving people grief each year. Ugh..

Twice the pollen from the male trees and no female trees to catch it. Bravo city council's, you done did it.

Let's not even talk about disease, because I might just go mad detailing mutations and natural selection.
