I walked into a building today a regular person who hunts their own monsters and destroys them, cares for those that need it, but does takes shit from people. I walked out with a tattoo that matches the strongest mother on tv who hunted ALL the monsters, cared for all people, took no shit, and loved so much, Mary Winchester- @samsmithgrams - the mother I always needed. Momma Winchester is a BAMF and I will be forever grateful she’s graced my heart and soul. You know what time of the month it is? It’s my craft week this coming week. Those who know me and my job, know I go HARD! So, I was testing something and prepping for my crafts. I cut my fingers. Big cuts. Trying to get the perfect indents in wood for some streamers. I’m having music week, then a parade. So we need some flair! Well, I am going a different route. My husband helped me out big time because as much as I can help out a bleeder, I love gore in movies. I have a history of passing out with a lot blood. Today it stormed like the dickens. It finally chilled out, but it was beautiful. @tex_tarcson2415 and I ate lunch in a parking lot and had the sun roof open so we could see the rain, and leaves dance in the wind. It was “romantical” as I put it. Despite the feeling of being in a tornado on 00, being in town was beautiful and calming before the rain stopped. So, I have plant earrings. I’m over the mooooon about them. @hickorylaneplants had some on her trailer last weekend and with my health not being great, and I was waiting on Covid results (negative obviously) I had to quarantine. I wanted some sooooo bad. I knew they’d sell out right away. I saw in her stories they were dwindling. Fast. I mean look at how cute they are. So, I was able to make out the sellers Instagram and Etsy and message her. Mary of @specklefishstudio is so flipping nice y’all! I told her what was up and she’s like I’ve got you, two pairs left, you pick which ones and the metal color and easy peasy. The shipping was so fast (thanks #usps) and they’re so great. I’m not afraid I’m going to lose one, they’re not heavy, and they give me a great boost because I’m unfurling another monstera leaf with holes and let me tell you, I feel like a plant bamf. Today’s mail day was AMAZING! 🎍🍄🌾 I got my seeds from @pentagrampotager who’s been such a kind soul in helping me pick out seeds and sharing gardening knowledge. I’ve always dreamed of being the woman who’s grown things, but I’ve not been great at it. I’ve learned a lot about houseplants the past year (thank you @hickorylaneplants you’re a saint), which is incredible. I’m going to try growing things outside, again (my lavender is dead, but there’s one spot a live so I keep on watering it, it’s wild). The black envelope, the stamp, these paper flowers that I have no idea wtf they do besides look nice are so wonderful. The hand written letter (look at that letterhead!) was so sweet! Thank you @juststainn for the seed swap that I ended up getting. I’m excited to get these growing when the time is right! So, first off, cards are one of my favorite things to get. I don’t care if they’re store bought, hand made; the face someone took the time and was like “this is for Cody, I’m getting it!” Is the best. Due to our schedules being the worst my bff @brittanysuetattoo mailed new surprise stickers that she just had to get me because she got her some too. “You’re going to love them!” Boiiiii she was right.
