1. Energy, Veiling, and offering cartomancy

1. When offering readings you should be mindful of the energy other people carry. Whether its the energy of the person you’re giving a reading to or a person or thing seeping bad energy into their life.

I think this is a great example of when to veil (if this is something you do)!

Alternatively other protection methods and lots of cleansing would work great as well

2. Over-consumerism and cartomancy

Over-consumerism is a big problem in witchcraft these days and I get it, the art on some tarot decks are gorgeous and some may even call to you BUT we should try and find solutions for it! And more often than not the more decks you buy the less you use the old ones.

^I’m not at all judging when I say this because I’m guilty of this too sometimes 🙌🏾

A theoretical solution:

Thrifting seems to be a very common thing with a lot of witches so donating them to thrift stores could be a great idea! This could probably help witches get decks on a budget. Or if your local metaphysical shop would allow it see if they could do something similar!

Something that seems to be forgotten these days, The terms Black and White magic are heavily rooted it racism!! These terms should not be normalized or used as often as they are.
