if you could have any pet in the world (fiction or non-fiction), what would it be? (it can't be Bertholdt because that's unfair)

Bertholdt definitely would not count because I would not want a person to be a pet 😭😭. I would want a Pokemon for a pet, because 1. Protection and defense, and 2. It would make life a lot more fun. But I just hope they would like living in this world, I just hope the Pokemon wouldn't want to fight other animals too LOL bc those animals would definitely die. Gengar's always been my favorite Pokemon, so it would definitely be cool if I had one. Maybe Meowth if it produced U.S coins, LOL. We'd definitely be rich! This is more about money than the actual care of the pet HAHA, my bad. I just can't help but think about the money and fame that would come with owning the first (and only) Pokemon in the world.
