I got married a year before the war.

My husband, my daughter, my mother-in-law, and my uncle and I lived in a house before it was bombed.

We were happy until the war broke out.

The war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023.

Here, hell began for us in Gaza. We lost our home and became homeless. My husband had nothing, and I had nothing.

My husband, his family, and I were displaced to the southern Gaza Strip for 15 months. I didn't go with her. Those were months of longing for my mother and brothers who were in northern Gaza.

My brothers Ahmed and Abdullah remained in the northern Gaza Strip. We were displaced several times because I live in Rafah, a border area close to the army.

During our displacement, we left the house and ran down the road to escape the shells and planes. Then came the thunderbolt. The shock was that death was faster than my brothers could escape... Here, here, we lost our loved ones. I lost my brothers, the apple of my eye, Ahmed. Ahmed left no children. And my mother is in pain because they departed to God without saying goodbye, without a kiss on their foreheads, a farewell kiss. After a while, we returned home. The house was severely damaged by demolition and the falling of stones from their places, which sheltered and protected us. Now, nothing protects us except some worn-out candles that do not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Our suffering is great, but with your help, we may reach a better and more dignified life. I appeal to you to help me support myself, my mother, my loved ones, and my family. What you provide makes a difference in our lives as individuals. We live in a world that has forgotten the meaning of humanity and giving. May God bless you all. Please help me help my family. I am Shaima from Gaza, 32 years old, a mother of four children who have suffered from fear, displacement, and homelessness. Can you imagine? They are living through a horrific war for which they have no fault. Yet the war in Gaza has stolen their beauty and childhood, and burdened them with worries far beyond their years. They even search for water as if they have aged decades.

I am now the sole breadwinner for the family because my husband, Ibrahim, who has always been determined to succeed and who has been my primary source of inspiration and strength, was severely injured in the foot during the war and has lost his passion for everything, even his own medical care. He needs special treatment for his foot, and without it, he suffers from severe pain, fatigue, and exhaustion. What did he do to deserve this?

We lived in peace despite all the hardships, but in moments, we lost a great effort. We struggled and rebuilt ourselves from nothing, until God provided for us, but I never imagined that our struggle and effort would fade and never return. Our home, with all its beauty and warm memories, is buried under the rubble. I only grieve for the memories.

As for me, I won't talk about myself because everything that happened saddens and pains me. But to you, people of mercy, I place my hopes in you to save my family. My family and I are not safe from this war. I pray to God to help us survive this death, so that we can survive what remains of us. Please help us buy the basic necessities and leave Gaza so we can treat my husband's foot - the cost of leaving is $5,000 per person. Help us live a dignified life. Hi everyone, I'm making a post for @shahdgazza, whose new fundraiser is struggling to get going.

The Tumblr account I mention above has been shadowbanned, and when they opened a new one, it was quickly deleted, as happens with so many Palestinian accounts. Because of this, they haven't been able to promote their new campaign much, out of fear of being deleted again. Their current account is @farahgazzaa.

That's why I've decided to make a post instead.

As you can see in this post (which I reblogged here, in case that account gets deleted), they have been scammed out of the money they collected with a previous campaign, and had to start over. They had been able to reach £6000 when it was stolen from them.

So far, their new campaign has only raised £273/£10K. Let's change that.

They have four children and two elderly parents to take care of, so a total of eight people. Their daughter Farah suffers from kidney failure and is very vulnerable. They desperately need funds to be able to provide their kids with food and water.

This campaign is vetted by association as explained here and here, having been vouched for by @rehamyasirrr who has also had to open many different accounts due to hateful reports. Reham's campaign has been shared by @90-ghost as you can see here, see also here.

The vetted fundraiser is an old one, but you can still find it linked in early reblogs of @shahdgazza's posts, such as this one. If you compare the gfm links, you will see they have the same URL: "f6pexj-test".

So even though this is a new campaign, it is the same family. They have removed all links to their new fundraiser from their original account, out of fear of it being deleted, but you can see the new campaign linked in their posts in my old reblogs here and here. You can also still find it linked in their reblog of the post on their current active account.

In Gaza, hundreds of thousands of parents are left speechless as they endure the countless atrocities inflicted upon their children. For many families, they lose their child before they even have the chance to truly know them—their dreams, their aspirations.

The Alamoudi family longed for a child for years. After enduring four grueling rounds of IVF, they were finally blessed with twins. But their joy was short-lived. As the war raged on, their baby, Ahmed, was born with urgent medical needs—holes in his heart requiring immediate surgery. On top of this, he suffers from nerve damage in his eye. Yet his parents are powerless, unable to seek the medical care he desperately needs, forced to watch helplessly as their child’s condition deteriorates by the day.

Imagine being a parent, filled with love and hope, only to realize that your child is being denied the medical attention they deserve because of an inhumane crisis. Ahmed’s father, Sharif, is unable to work overseas due to a herniated disc that causes severe spinal and nerve pain. As of this writing, their campaign has gone without donations for a long time.

We implore you—please, consider donating. Even the cost of a daily coffee could bring this family a moment of peace in their desperate fight to save their child.
