he just BECOMES as yggdrasil? he just, you don't understand, he just becomes the tree? the core of time itself? he just wields the power of literal gods and transforms the flow of all timelines into a tree, using the timelines themselves as the fibers and pathways to create a self-supporting structure that he feeds his own power through like life-support? for all of eternity? to keep everyone and everything in existence EXISTING??? he just takes the form of the thing he has grown up knowing about, yggdrasil, for his whole life, dreaming of conquering all sentient life forms on all the trees branches, and instead of conquering it, he creates and powers and guides the very flow of time itself that those people will freely live upon? the symbolism. i'm dying, the symbolism. yall. yalllll.

something that I’ll never get tired of saying is that Mobius loves Loki — whether it be in a romantic or platonic way — that man loves Loki to pieces without wanting anything in return except that Loki is okay, and it’s been proven again and again to be true, especially in this first episode of season 2. he quite literally has to close his eyes during Loki’s time slip in the elevator scene because he can’t see Loki in pain and it’s Loki who comforts him, saying that he’s okay because Mobius might have a panic attack otherwise. and here he’s actually willing to risk his own life, having his mf skin literally peeled off, to save Loki. like Mobius gains nothing by risking his own life going out there in that suit with a crack on it, and in the end he does it for Loki. even when he thinks Loki isn’t going to make it, he stays until he’s deliberately putting his own life at risk. and I bet that fear in his eyes — when he thinks Loki isn’t going to make it — is purely because he thinks Loki will never come back to him, that he’s lost Loki forever. it’s Loki Mobius thinks about during the moment he himself could face a gruesome death. he just wants to save Loki. and that’s why Lokius will always be true love for me.
