Painted Ladies •

Adorned with hard enamels and heavy glazes, the Painted Ladies are crafters, artisans, and have a deep-seated hand in botany. Predominantly crafting things from clay and plant fibers, they eventually moved on to, and discovered, ways to work with clay to make beautiful but incredibly tough pottery, jewelry, and vessels to name a few.

They are and indulgent people as well, reveling in the abundance of fruits as result of their meticulous plant husbandry.

Despite accepting the “Painted Ladies” monicker from the humans they live around, their (human adjacent) existence does not adhere to human-made gender categories. They often forego gendered language when referring to each other or humans.
