going through old things when they move in together, soap comes across an old photo album of ghost’s that he never knew existed

there’s typical stuff he glosses over, like family photos from just before and after ghost joined the military, random places and things he’s seen, what have you

it’s something soap is just thinking he’ll go over with ghost some time when he turns past the last page of sleeves and notices it’s thicker than all the others—and upon further investigation, discovers more photos wedged behind those plain, unassuming ones

at first soap is just hit with a sort of confusion. maybe it’s an old friend or something, though the man in the first photo looks familiar. soap holds the old print closer to his face for a moment, and eventually comes to the shocking conclusion that the photo is of ghost

a younger, leaner and less broad ghost, wearing a tight-fitting crop top. eyebrow and nose and ear piercings that soap knows for a fact the man no longer has. low waisted jeans and chains and a million other things that scream punk in a way soap has never imagined ghost to be despite all his motifs, and now soap is going to need to take very long and deep looks at this photo every day for the rest of his life because how could he not have known about it sooner?
