//jrwi prime defenders season 2 spoilers

i remember someone on twitter saying this a month or so ago and i can’t stop thinking about it,,,

what if william falling off of the cliff was not an accident? i know this is the guy that has no luck, is super clumsy, and a failure all around but,, in season 2 there is definitely some suicidal idealisation from william; being very adamant and firm on not wanting to return to the cliff after vyncent suggested that to figure out how he kept going after death (s2 ep14), and sitting in an alleyway with a knife to his chest, ready to khs if kemuri didn’t get out of him (s2 ep34 iirk) which is even more impactful after the events of greyscale, and how william views himself as a villain for his actions. these are only two examples of course, but i feel as if there are more scattered about with william’s behaviours. the way it plays into his character really works with everything he’s been through, and especially for a character overlapping between life and death itself.

it’s such a small narrative change to think about, but flips the character of william wisp to a deeper tone, which. ough. um, hurts to think about

my dm told me that if my character (eli) had to be forcefully written out of the campaign we are currently playing, they would just kts and i haven't been able to stop thinking and laughing about it

i posted this on my twitter too, as i talk a bit more about my dnd stuff over there ^o^ i love eli so much, what a silly guy! maybe ill talk about them a bit more here. maybe ill post more on here. perhaps

actually never mind eli has lowkey been a bum recently but that's not their fault they've just been going through a mind-altering moral crisis right now! i love the hit campaign curse of strahd and what it's done to my child.

fun fact i have been a fan of riptide since january but this is somehow my first time drawing them :,) so their designs are pretty on-canon but one day i’d like to stylise them more!!! :P

one of those "the gun" tiktok edits but it's prime defenders and ashe is 'the gun'... do u see the vision...

in season 2 reaching ashe / the trickster becomes a motive for so many people. PD wants to free their friend (and to save the world :P), wavelength wants to find his son no matter the cost, mal needed to banish the chaos and obtain the book, WATCH / the heroes wanted to stop evil and save those in danger because of it, and so on, and so on. i just think that would be kinda coool..

Yayyyy!! I wanted to do a redraw, and didnt even realise that I drew them a year apart! the 2022 drawing was also the first time i had posted to tumblr!! i might make this a yearly thing :)

i’ve got so much art block it is killing me,, like every time i try to start something i just quit after like 5 minutes this is so not awesome :(

today i went to my grandparents house and saw my 6 year old cousin ben! together we made splatoon drawings, thought i’d share :D

we collaborated on the 1st one, and the others, he drew one page and i drew the other one! (if you can tell lol), and we drew the same characters of his choosing! i annotated his drawings, but feel free to look at the ones without annotations and try to guess what is what haha

ANYWAY. in the first drawing, there is a large blurred box by the inkling he drew. he wanted to draw the pipes that connect the islands in the splatoon 3 story mode, but instead it straight up looked like 3 penises so i blurred it anyway 😭

despite that i think his drawings are so cute ^-^

i introduced him to splatoon a while ago, and im so glad he enjoys it :)

ok i think im going absolutley insane BUT

i was rewatching videos on the genloss channel, and while i was watching "Connecting..." i recognised that snippets of 3 songs played [in order]: Hetch, Spirit of the Slime, and finally Live or Die (followed by the Showfall Media jingle). After, a voice says "if you have any information on these individuals, don't hesitate to call". (with the concept of showfall putting up missing posters etc)

these individuals? Hetch, Slimecicle and Ranboo?

idk if this means anything, but this could back up the theory of Hetch still being under the mind control??

i think one of the craziest things about generation loss is that only one of the characters got a conclusive ending (the puzzler being 'terminated' as shown in the mall). we dont know if ranboo really died. we dont know if charlie or sneeg really died. we know nothing about the other characters from ep 2.

even the show has no true conclusion. there is no resolution anywhere- showfall and hetch are just left continuing what they do, no repercussions. there's no good ending, there may be an end to that show specifically, but thats about it.

but my favourite thing is that there is no resolution, just a loop, shown through the black box being shut over ranboo's head (ep 3), just as it was shown at the start, in the video on the generation loss channel titled 'The Hero', and even links back to how ranboo woke up in ep 1 with their arms outstretched.

this show is so awesome :)
