penguinedward Magnus carved the body of the piano, Lup and Barry managed the stringing calling back on what they learned on the planet of the voidfish, and Merle had his new Rockseeker family carve the tiniest, softest hammers for inside. Lucrecia and Davenport’s gift is a piece of music that they composed together. It’s a family effort~

my first go at a design for Kelly Little!!

(( she/they are Aubrey and Dani’s future kid, inspired by this post ))

1. Taako as Dwight. Kravitz as Jim. Au where they work together at Fantasy Costco, are not dating yet. Garfield has to take a brief “vacation” and leaves Taako as acting manager. Bonus: Magnus and Merle also work with them, and Angus has an internship there (which is actually just a cover for him to investigate Garfield the Deals Warlock during his absence). Perhaps the THBs are working there to pay off some debt to the BOB? And perhaps Kravitz is paying off a blood debt to Garfield? Very chaotic au, lots of possibilities for shenanigans.

2. Lup as Dwight (he just oozes that chaotic twin energy). Barry as Jim. Au where they’re working together at the IPRE before the Stolen Century. The IPRE member who manages the birds’ expedition preparations (not Lucretia—someone else) has left for a few days. They left Barry in charge due to his rank, intelligence, and excellent organization skills, but every one of the birds knows that it’s really Lup who runs the department. Immediately after this conversation happens, Barry blushes furiously, stammers something about needing to help Merle figure out how to use a stapler, and rushes out of the room. A quasi-enemies-to-lovers blupjeans au. Would also work at some point during the stolen century (I just like the idea of exploring the IPRE more).

3. Merle as Dwight. Lup as Jim. No endgame. Just pure chaotic energy. That is all.

I still haven’t listened to the two most recent eps because I’m a coward so hopefully nothing here’s out of date

I could totally see the “lady friend” as a “well I’m not attracted to guys so I guess I’m straight by default?” kinda thing for him. Like “I don’t get why everyone’s so crazy about this dating thing but I guess I’ll give it a go”

Lives alone with his cat. Loves being alone in nature. And like you said, doesn’t seem to be interested in changing that. Single and loving it, am I right?

BUT it’s not like he’s this grumpy old man who isolates himself from the community. He knows everyone in Kepler, and they all know him. He’s an important part of the community, he just likes his alone time

After the end of the world (assuming all goes well) I could totally see him trying to settle back down into his old life, living alone with his cat and doing ranger work. But, after all that he’s been through, something’s changed—he doesn’t enjoy being alone that much anymore. He misses his friends

So he ends up joining the Amnesty Lodge crew—living with them, wherever they end up💜

Jahdgshsjkk I need to catch up on the episodes. Griffin please don’t hurt them😅

TAZ Amnesty Headcanon

Please consider: Aro/Ace Duck Newton? 

I’ve been thinking about Duck’s past a lot and I can’t help but get some ace vibes from our favourite forest ranger. Here’s where I’m at:

- he’s in his 40s and doesn’t appear to have a partner or care to get a partner or be upset that he doesn’t have a partner…at all. I’m not saying every middle aged person who doesn’t have a significant other is ace, not at all, but it’s a potential sign so

- he doesn’t appear to be interested romantically or sexually in anybody? I understand this could be because Justin doesn’t wanna flirt with Griffin again, but I feel like he’d be fine with it if the narrative went that way

- there was the “lady friend” he had back when he was younger that took him to the ski resort, yes. But honestly, the man spent more time talking about French Onion Soup than the hot girl that was at a resort with him during a time most guys his age have only one thing on their mind

I dunno, the McElroys are so good at giving us such great representation so I don’t think it’s a stretch to have this headcanon! Anyone else got any thoughts on this? I’d love to hear ‘em! Got Duck Newton headcanons of your own? Please share!

Kelly has an unhealthy obsession with cryptids from a young age, even though they basically have two for moms, and have literal magic powers themself.

When they learn that Uncle Barclay is Bigfoot, they go batshit wild with excitement and start bombarding him with intrusive toddler questions. Poor Barclay is completely flustered (he’s not used to little kids lol) but he’s such a good sport—he tries his best to answer all of Kelly’s questions until Aubrey finally drags them away to let Barclay drink his tea in peace.

Kelly hoards all the cool (and straight up weird) shit they find on hikes in their room, and they charge their moms an entry fee whenever they want to come in.

Kelly absolutely steals one of Barclay’s socks after the Uncle-Barclay-is-Bigfoot incident and adds it to their display, giving it the place of honor under the light of their bedside lamp and labeling it as “Uncl Bigfot sok”.

The sign on their bedroom door reads “Kellys Kryponmica”, and they hope someday their little Cryptonomica will be just as amazing as the one from the stories their moms tell them about Ned “Grampa” Chicane💜

aubrey and dani’s kid, a ball of energy who loves going on hikes and practicing magic with their moms, kelly
