an easy drawing while i try to get back on my feet after uni, i wanted to figure out their designs for a comic idea

Finally trying to finish the amnesty arc, I only made it to episode 17 last time which is a shame cause I really enjoyed it

I can’t decide who my favourite of the main trio is but I had to draw Aubrey cause who doesn’t love a punk magician with fire powers?

Griffin: ah yes I will introduce a fbi agent who’s looking for bigfoot who will slowly over the course of the campaign grow to care for the people of amnesty lodge and I will also of course give him a gay little romantic subplot WITH mr bigfoot himself. So excited to sprinkle that in through the plot.

Ned being in the Pine Guard is so funny and interesting to me because like

Duck and Aubrey are both inexplicably intertwined with Sylvain. The threads of fate have been pulling them toward Sylvain and the Pine Guard since they were born. Duck through Minerva, Aubrey through having the essence of Sylvain inside her. No matter how hard they tried to run from it, they were always going to end up there.

Meanwhile Ned accidentally met Bigfoot, and now he's here, too.

What fucks me up about Neds death is he didn't have any reason to be there. Duck and Aubrey were fated or whatever to go to Sylvain and get wrapped up in all this but Ned just happened to see barclay in the forest, accidentally hit the gate with his car that night, anything had changed and Ned would have lived because he never would have met Aubrey and Duck. He wouldn't have died thinking everyone hated him. But then Ned wouldn't have been loved. There'd be no Statue of Ned, no "Last Episode of Saturday Night Dead" playing, Aubrey and Ned wouldn't have found a family in each other. Im gonna be sick about this arc. Ned Chicane the character ever.
