Before delving to this book, I knew it was preceded by (and was therefore to be read after) Beren and Luthien. As you can surmise from context and the slightly regretful tone, I started reading The Fall of Gondolin anyway, to my great confusion, which is mostly due the polynymous characters and partly to Tolkien’s distinctive speedy-narrative style. But I’m loving it! / / / #bookstagram #typography #books #bookblogger #goodreads #bookblogging #booksandtype #booknerd #bookworm #becausereading #reading #reader #read #bookstagramer #goldenquotes #quotes #thefallofgondolin #jrrtolkien #tolkien #lordoftherings #thehobbit #summerreading https://www.instagram.com/p/B1g6pMzgwhm/?igshid=ysl7kigw937l
