Booze Époque is Boston’s first licensed and insured craft cocktail catering service. BÉ creates whimsical and classic cocktails using fresh, local, organic, and seasonal ingredients for private parties and special events. BÉ also teaches a variety of cocktail classes ranging from Tequila & Mezcal to Cocktails & Literature.  Meaghan and Harmony, Booze Époque’s founders, have been featured in Edible Boston, Boston Magazine, Boston.com, Garden.org, and many other publications. They have brought their craft to desert enclaves, high rises, startups, garden parties, art galleries, rock shows, hoedowns, dinner soirées, barbeques, holiday affairs, bachelorette parties, weddings, and more.            Each menu is customized and tailored to complement and enhance the aesthetic of your event, whether a black tie dinner or a punk rock wedding. Handcrafted syrups, shrubs, bitters, tinctures, and garnishes are created in a licensed and certified kitchen: Kitchen, Inc in Somerville’s vibrant Union Square. Using the freshest ingredients and highest quality spirits, Booze Époque ensures you and your guests will enjoy the most beautiful flavors the season has to offer. In addition to event catering, Booze Époque offers a variety of cocktail classes for groups from six to thirty, either in our kitchen or your home or office. Fun with Gelology and Vineyard Adventures!
We had the pleasure of working with our great friend Matt Micari, of Gelology, who kindly played Mr.Wizard and showed us how to make gelatin shots our moms would eat.  These are our "A Shot in the Dark" gin gel gems.
Tumblr media
We also had an amazing time in Martha's Vineyard teaching two sold out classes with food pairings by cookbook author and all around amazing woman, Cathy Walthers.  We will be back to the Island in short order because it's too magical a place to stay away from.

Build Your Cocktails With Confidence
Cooking is a skill that often gets passed down from generation to generation, whether it’s grandma’s marinara recipe or dad’s grilling technique. When it comes to mixing drinks, however, the trusty hand preparing your beverage is usually a busy bartender who’s got other guests to tend to. Mastering the mechanics of cocktail composition at home can be daunting and expensive. So, what’s a curious cocktail lover to do? Look to the ladies of Booze Époque, that’s what. Meaghan Sinclair and Harmony Dawn are taking the mystery out of mixology, teaching the fundamentals and giving folks the confidence to make first-rate drinks at home

Great Week For BÉ! Edible Boston and Garden.org Articles!
It's been a pretty fantastic week for us. Two wonderful articles have made it to press.
The first is a profile piece in the Drinks Edition of Edible Boston.  We had a blast working with Brain Samuels, it's rare to find someone who is able to capture us in words and photos.  You can see some of the great outtakes from this article on his blog, A Thought For Food.  Special thanks to Soluna Garden Farm for letting us take over their shop for an afternoon.
The second article goes hand-in-hand with the Aphrodisiac cocktail class we just taught at CCAE.  The National Gardening Association asked us to come up with some Valentine's Day cocktails for their website garden.org.
Hope you enjoy reading these as much as we have!

BÉTV Behind the Scenes!
We're working on an exciting new endeavor, BÉTV!  We shot for the first time last weekend at our shared space at Kitchen, Inc in Somerville. Our first episode will focus on one of our favorite cocktails, The Aviation.
Here is a behind the scenes look at what we were up to. Many thanks to our incredible crew from Video/Visuals (and beyond).  We can't wait to work with them again soon!
In the upcoming weeks we're looking forward to shooting at GrandTen Distillery and with the venerable Brother Cleve. Stay tuned for tidbits and details and many more cocktails to come.
