Here is a small way to adapt homestuck aspects to dnd 5e characters without homebrew. Despite some people's best efforts, homestuck powers don't work mechanically in 5e, and there are no equivalents until around level 20 in many cases.
So as a way to sneak in some of the thematic flavor for your homestuck inspired characters, I recommend using the optional feat rule to correspond a power-up to an aspect. Hopefully you can use this in a game where feats are allowed or the dm hands one out for free.
Aspect-Feat: 1d12 table
(roll to stay true to the comic, since characters often didn't understand or want their classpect)
1. time - alert
2. space - ritual caster
3. life - healer
4. doom - tough
5. void - fighting Initiate
6. light - eldritch Adept
7. blood - inspiring leader
8. breath - mobile
9. hope - lucky
10. rage - sentinel
11. mind - keen mind
12. heart - actor
I made this table using a bit of obvious theme overlap and a bit of reference to the canon characters, but you can edit it to fit your views of the aspects.
I tried to pick feats that work on every character, even if some work better on others. For example, barbarian with sentinel is great, but a scrawny wizard with a little dagger suddenly being able to hold back a dragon from flying away is very evocative of inner Rage. And with blind fighting being added, all casters can benefit from a fighting style.
If you switch out the homestuck classes for the 5e ones, you can make a functional title.
Dave Strider, for example, would be a Fighter of Time, which just a fighter with alert, using the Echo Knight subclass.

D&Dstuck
The Homestuck main cast if they were transferred over into d&d 5e characters. No repeating main classes in the human and troll groups, like in canon.
Humans:
John - Half Elf. Storm Sorcerer. Hammer Proficiency. Raised by a good human man. Entertainer background, since he had originally planned to follow in his grandmas footsteps and be a comedian/joke shop owner. Distant, Careful, Quickened, Subtle spell.
Rose - High Elf. Starts out as a Great Old One Warlock, then finishes as a Divination Wizard. Raised by famous, drunk scientist. home schooled so well that she’s a Cloistered Scholar. Keeps her pact of familiar (casey/viceroy). Although she abandons her patron, she keeps the magic learned.
Dave - Variant Human (alert feat). Warrior. Great Weapon Fighter. Samurai subclass (Ironic, cause English knight aesthetic). Raised by same lunatic, who disappeared one day for unknown reasons. Inheritor background, because Bro left behind either a broken sword (endgame sword?) or a 1 pound red egg (davesprite?).
- Davesprite: not a PC. he would be some kind of familiar or npc, or maybe just an extension of Dave later on (e.g. Dave gets wings. or gets a phoenix that carries a part of his soul. something).
Jade - Half Elf variant. Wood Elf weapon training. Circle of Dreams Druid. Outlander background, since she lived alone (with Bec) on an island most of her life after her grandpa died.
Jane - Human. Cleric, life domain, worships Hemera. Trident proficiency. Raised by good man. Guild Artisan background, since she is heiress to an old baking empire.
Dirk - Half Elf. Monk, way of shadow. Katana instead of shortsword. Raised himself most of his life, so Urchin background. Older brother was an executed rebel of their corrupt empire, and Dirk looks up to him. Maybe switches out Opportunist for Quivering palm in late game.
Roxy - Half Elf. Rogue arcane trickster. Mostly illusion, conjuration, and transmutation spells. Raised by small, remote village of poor halflings. Criminal background, because she would often have to steal from nearby cities and villages to help feed village. Mom was also an executed rebel, who sent her there to be raised in safety.
Jake - Wood Elf. Paladin, Oath of Redemption. Dueling fighting style. Uses hand crossbows almost exclusively. From an even farther away island than Jade, and left a few years after his grandma died. So Far Traveler background (accent).
Trolls:
Karkat - Tiefling with nubby horns. Bard, College of Valor. Does everything in his power to fight like a barbarian, but just isn’t. Voice = Greatest Instrument = He screams magic and inspiration. Raised by a human crab fisherman, who helped disguise his race from a tiefling-hating empire. Harborfolk or custom background.
Aradia - Shadar Kai. Wizard, School of Necromancy. Whip proficiency. Was briefly a wraith or undying warlock, but was restored in narrative. Archaeologist background, since she was training to be one before the incident occurred (vriska).
Tavros - Minotaur. Paladin, Oath of Ancients or Crown (mix?). Defense fighting style. A softy who was raised away from other Minotaurs, and likes helping people, so a Folk Hero background. Due to outside forces (vriska), he spent a long time off his oaths path and not leveling.
Sollux - Fire Genasi. Sorcerer: Shadow + Pheonix homebrew to maximize popping back up after hitting zero hp. Cursed by those doomed voices, so Haunted One background. Extended, Empowered, Heightened, Twinned spell.
Nepeta - Tabaxi. Ranger, Hunter or Beast master (mix?). Dual-wielding. Claws instead of short swords. Raised in wild by Tabaxi mother, so an Outlander. Often went too far off on hunts to observe society, and can fit in relatively well. Still romance obsessed.
Kanaya - Elardin. Barbarian, Path of Zealot. Gets vampiric touch at some point. Chain saw = Spiked Chain? Inheritor background, since she inherited the Matriorb, an important artifact to the continuation of her people. She may be the last of them.
Terezi - Dragonborn, blue. Fighter, Eldritch Knight. Spells focus more on divination and charm than usual. Two-weapon fighter. Gets foresight somehow. Tried to follow in her mothers footsteps by being an Urban Bounty Hunter... before the... Incident (vriska).
Vriska - Scourge Aasimar. Rogue, Thief + Swashbuckler mix to maximize getting as many advantage rolls as possible. Some enchantment magic worked in. A Pirate background. Her pirate mom forced her in a lot of kill or be killed situations, and she excelled. Really messed up some of her friends and self in the pregame.
Equius - Half-Orc. Monk, way of the open palm. Some points in barbarian or rogue. Carries around a long bow but lacks proficiency. Noble background, who acts patriotic toward his corrupt empire but only semi believes in it. Met Nepeta as kid on a family hunting expedition (still vegetarian)
Gamzee - Fallen Aasimar. Cleric, death domain. Gets points in barbarian to be an unkillable heavy hitter by late game. Acolyte background, to the mysterious (upper class only) church of the empire. Was permitted to leave early for unknown reasons.
Eridan - Triton. Warlock, Hexblade (ancestor weapon) + Celestial (angels). either homebrew mix, or a total switch later in the narrative. Courtier background, as a childhood friend of the princess. He followed her when she ran away.
Feferi - Sea elf. Druid, coastal Land circle. 2x Trident proficiency. second highest Noble in the land, she is the heiress to the immortal queen of the empire. She was destined to live in comfort until her inevitable murder later in life. So she ran away, and took her courtier with her.

New blog
When i get bored, i think of a lot of stuff. Usually a lot of crossovers, au’s, and differing concepts of the media I enjoy. I don’t have the dedication, time, or talent to bring any of them to fruition, but I can still vomit them out here.
