I love seeing other artists going about their day and making comics about it every year, so I finally decided to participate this year. Hopefully I'll keep it up in future years and can use it as a little snapshot of my life to see how it changes!

When the end of winter rolls around, I’m always reminded of the beautiful colors of southern france, the bright blue sky against the lemon and orange trees full of ripe fruit. We’re not quite there yet, but maybe by drawing with these colors, February can come faster?

I’m incredibly grateful to be able to study and do what I love, and for the friendships that have formed or solidified during the year.

2024 blew by so fast, and I don’t know if I’m ready for 2025, but well it’ll come whether I want to it to or not!

The Morning Star Zine is a fanzine celebrating Minecraft creators of marginalized gender identity or experience. Standing at 88 pages, it features the hard work of 44 artists and writers, representing 40 different creators from all sides of Minecraft Youtube.

The zine is free to download and enjoy using the link below.

Keep an eye out for when Morning Star releases on December 27th! This isn't the only thing I drew for the zine, I might or might have done a piece as well...

And because it's almost the holidays and you've all been so nice, under the cut you'll find the MANY thumbnails and iterations we went through for this cover;

I really liked that unused dark color palette, but in the end we went with something that matched our previous color palette better! There's always next time though ;)

A release date is soon to come, and so are introductions to all our contributors, so keep an eye on the sky.
