Sketch to shirt design! Its been a few cooler days here in the Finger Lakes, so its OK to start making more spooky art. I have been watching scary movies with Abby year round. I think that is why I have been doing darker artwork outside of the months of Sketchtober.

SPLASH! A recent disc stamp idea

Im getting into a lot of fun projects after a few years of moving around. I couldnt make too large of a mess for a while but now im doin it. Making paper and prints is a lot of fun. I enjoy the rough surface of this paper for many things tho its not the best for getting clean prints. It does add even more character to the print i think, but im looking to try these prints out again when i have some smooth print paper. Sturgeon are pretty cool and fun to draw

I carved a soft rubber block to make this one. I had a really tough time transferring the image onto the block. After many failed attempts i got the image on with wood glue. The wood glue made the rubber surface weird but i was so happy to have the transfer take that i figured out how to work with it. Tough process with the tools i have but i think it turned out ok.
