49. Something great I’ve already accomplished — "havent killed myself and don't want to anymore, but still joke about it because of the familiar comfort of it" sounds GRIM AS FUUUCK... so i'll say. got a quite interesting, but ultimately useless degree in history FOR FREE. hashtag ya girl was a nerd. it's not harvard or whatever universities are out there, but. you know. a free degree is a free degree. i'd say it's pretty great!!! (i dont have many accomplishments tbh)

12. About my parents — sure, why not!

the thang about them is that they pretty much always let me did whatever i wanted (barely had any sensible bed time or restrictions of TV/internet as a child). but also either they raised me this way or i was born with it that if they told me no i would never throw a fit and just accept my fate (which is like. pretty good for parents right). HOWEVER. they also rarely let me back out of a commitment i made which on the one is good because sometimes you have to lock in a do the thing, but on the other hand it's hard to let stuff go and start over. hate music school? but you have already spent 4 out of 7 years here, just finish it! thinking about dropping out of the uni? but you've already finished 5 out of 8 semesters!! etc etc

i have "grown out of it" at this point of my life, even picked up back playing the piano and i do not regret my history major (in my eyes it's so much better than majoring in english because. well. i've already got the gist of english and whilst there is always a room for improvement i dont feel like 4 years of the uni would've been worth it). so. yeah.

my biggest beef with them is: with my mom is that she still feels like i'm five, like in her mind she feels like she needs to protect me at all costs from everything. and with my dad is that he taught me how to pop pimples.

and my biggest gratitude is that they always respected my stuff and privacy wether it was my anime fanfiction on the family computer or my stuff on my laptop which my mom used everyday to watch supernatural on while i was at school/university (like. they always trusted me to be like. responsible. and i mostly always was/am)
