A surprise second spiritual/intuitive painting. This one came to me like a slap in the face for a person I have been close to for a long time, The Huntress. There is a LOT of hidden symbolism here that I wish I could share but is far too personal to them for me to be comfortable doing so. The messages hidden within are for them 💗

These intuitive paintings have been a really fun new challenge. They take quite a bit more time than I am used to investing in a piece but I adore the process so much. More of these to come I am sure!

I recently completed what I consider to be my best work ever.

this was a commission piece for a dear friend who’s only prompt was “paint me how you see me.”

there is a literally ton of symbolism in this piece, that I am calling “Spirit Whisperer”, that I can’t go into because it’s personal, but.. I am so stinking proud of this work I just had to share it.

So I have introduced my work, but I don’t think I have really introduced myself here yet.

Hi! I’m Breena! I’m an artist!

When I’m not creating art I am probably playing D&D or another TTRPG (lately the One Ring!!), reading a fantasy book, or watching shows or movies with my husband, usually also of the fantasy or sci-fi variety, I have a type 😂

Fun fact about me: I’m a retired tattoo artist! I tattooed professionally for 18 years! That’s a long and Wild story; my dad owns a tattoo studio and is also an artist. He started teaching me to tattoo when I was 8 years old (he was already teaching me traditional art, since I could hold a pencil!) and I started tattooing professionally when I was 11 years old, though back then it was just on family and friends of the family, I didn’t start tattooing the public until I was 14.

That was the last 18 years of my life! I retired in 2020 after we were closed for the panini and I realized my chronic illnesses were much easier to manage when I wasn’t sitting in a tattoo chair 10 hours a day.

2020 is also when I discovered digital art and fell in love with it, and that lead me here to meet all you magical people! Can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us!

Throwback to one of my favorite commissions ever, because what isn’t made better by a sweet ferret friend?!

Sorry I haven’t been posting much, commissions that I can’t share have been keeping me very busy, and I have a lot to catch up on! My supporters (shooting stars) on Ko-Fi get sneak peeks of my WIPs so they have seen a bit more of me recently as I work through my commission waitlist!

I have some plans to refocus and shift some things beginning of next year and am looking forward to sharing those plans and ideas with you all!

thought I would share my OC with all you magical people! meet Vantë. my sweet orphan girl who grew up on the beach of a pirate island, making ends meet however she could until she eventually started coming into some interesting power. some people were scared away by her latent magical abilities, though some were inspired by them!

she was such a fun challenge for me to draw, I used her as a model for studying expression which I had never done much with before then.
