Happy New Folks. I am going to be hunkering down (when not out playing in the snow) in the New Year to get this album finished. Compared to previous recordings the new tunes are more melodic, dynamic, groovy, and textured. Influences ranging from Neil Young to Kendrick Lamar, Dan Mangan to Frank Ocean. Hoping to have it ready to roll out by the summer time. On Saturday I partook in our 6th Annual‘Jolly Group of Christmas Carolers’, as we took to the streets of North Vancouver to share some Christmas spirit and collect donations for local charities. After a few hours of caroling we raised more than $300 and 5 bags of groceries! All the proceeds were donated to the District of North Vancouver Charitable Society (@DNVFFCS) and the Harvest Project (@HarvestProject). DNVCS donates to many great groups including, @makeawishca @cancersociety @LGHFoundation . Big thanks to @steamworksbeer for wetting our whistles and keeping our spirits high as we sung classic Christmas tunes in frigid temperatures!
