the one problem with having online friends all over the world is that sometimes you desperately want to hug them and you never can. this is. that.
a different kind of writing from my usual.
[in text form:
dear friend on my phone
i wish to hug you from a ludicrous number of miles away
let my embrace journey halfway across the world until it reaches you
a dissolved and disheveled little thing
weary of its travels, faded at the edges
no more than a phantom touch in the passing breeze
but when it finds you, i hope you'll know its former home
i hope you'll feel my love in it
sense it in the faintest brush across your shoulders
i hope it lifts the burden from them still
if even just a little, for a little while]
More fic fanart! This spread is for no breaks to my heart at night by @twosetmeridian It's a wonderful little fic about genderfluid!Eddy who's a biker and Brett who's the local librarian; highly recommend if you want a cute little love story.
Though, fair warning, there is some transphobia at the end by the antagonists that results in physical violence. Just a heads up for those who want to read it because it isn't tagged. (objective) (no shade; genuine)
@twosetviolin聽delivered a fantastic show last night. It鈥檚 not often you find violinists hoola hooping on stage whilst they perform! Here鈥檚 a roundup of some of our favourite moments throughout the night 馃幓

someone: hey I noticed this thing you did in your writing!
me, kicking my feet up flirtatiously: oh??? do you want to hear my thoughts on why I did that? do you want a play-by-play of the language choices in every related sentence? do you want an exhaustive breakdown of The Themes???
