A couple of months ago, I asked my Instagram followers which anime character they’d like to see in a BDSM scenario. A few suggested the Prince of Saiyans as a brat, so I sketched this. Should I paint him ?

Cats are definitely one of my favorite subjects to paint, since they have always fascinated me and I also feel very identified with their way of being. Even when I was little I liked dressing up as a cat and pretend to be one, no wonder I became a neko in my teenage otaku days, and that evolved into petplay when I grew up. Nowadays most of my friends call me "Gato" from time to time and I meow when I feel comfortable around someone. "To be cringe is to be free"

Today I would like to tell and show you behind the scenes of this special custom artwork I made last year. Are you ready ?

My client idea was to reunite a close friend with her beloved life companion Tintin, since he passed away. So she send me lots of photos of her friend as an adult, a couple of Tintin, and one very old photo of the two of them sitting on the grass of the backyard. With all that I made this sketch

Luckily my client really liked it, so I got to work and made some adjustments in Photoshop, such as the foot, which was terrible, and I also tested the colors and the background based on the backyard photo. Now I was ready to get back to paper and brushes

And here is the finished piece. Both my client and her friend were very happy and grateful with the result. It's always difficult for me to do this kind of work (emotionally speaking) but I feel honored to be able to contribute through my art so that someone can feel a little close to a loved one who is no longer here

This a study I made during a live shibari performance, It's so challenging yet fun to do this kind of works wich I call #dibufotos (draw-photos in spanish) cause the performers are always moving and I have to rush to capture their expressions and beautiful poses

It's also a very good practice because I have literally no idea how the artwork will turn out. I constantly have to abandon the sheet I was working on and start a new one because they changed the pose. It's a hard and strong way of challenge frustration, totally recommend it

Have you seen shibari performances in real life? Or are you still waiting for the opportunity to present itself? 🤔 I'd like to know

Who hasn't questioned their sexuality or identity whith these two, let them throw the first stone. When I was an alternative 14 year old, I knew very little about Green day but I inmediatly fell in love with this video and their aesthetic since the first time I saw it on #Mtv

Everytime I watched it, something happened to me that many have experienced with other videos, movies and series, which is: entering a state of hypnotic love 💕😵‍💫💕 where I subconsciously asked myself "do I like her or do I want to be her?". And also "Do I like him or do I want to be him?"

The answer to all those questions was YES, but when I was a teenager there were more prejudices and fewer "options." Has it happened to you that real or animated characters cause this to you? Do you identify today with any LGBTQ+ identity? 🌈 Tell me in the comments !
