Well that poll seemed to garner a lot of interest so I'm gonna do it!

July 28th marks 10 years since the show first aired on Dave. I figured that would be a great time to run a lil fanzine.

This is the official callout post for submissions for the Taskmaster Fanzine.

FAQ and specs under cut

So what would be okay to submit?

Anything! Art, comics, fics, op ed pieces go ham. Basically I wanna put together something for free for the fans to celebrate 10 years of the absolute ridiculousness that is this show.

Your favourite tasks? series? contestants? Just want to make a collage of Lord Greg Davies and Little Alex Horne? Absolutely welcome!

What's not cool though; bigotted nonsense, gore or explicit NSFW content.

When is the deadline?

01/07/2025 so I can compile submissions and ensure it's all together to be put up on the 28th.

Is this going to cost anything?

Nope.

I'm going to put it up on itch.io for free or PWYW and it'll be a digital download. If people do end up spending money on it then I'll donate that money to charity that'll be decided on at a later date.

What's the submission specs.

For art I want it to be about A5 size, so 5.83" x 8.27", 148x210 mm or 2894 x 2039 pixels at 300dpi minimum. For comics and art I'm gonna limit submissions at 4 per person or 4 pages maximum.

For fics, writing etc I'm gonna say no more than 4 pages of writing at standard 12 size font.

How do I submit?

send submissions, further questions and other bits to tmfanzine@gmail.com, I'm not gonna hold people to a check in schedule if you wanna do something for it then go ahead if not then it's no worries.

Is RPF okay?

I'm gonna tentatively say yes, basically if it wouldn't seem out of place in the show I'm gonna allow it but I will say RPF is not the focus of the zine it's more about the show itself than the ships!

I'm not okay, I'm rewatching the series rn and I just love Diego this time around ♡

The way I could ramble on and on about being disappointed in Brian as a character in the books and how he disappointed me in the show. As a killer in the books, spectacular continue on. As a brother with a plan in the show, perfection continue what you are doing. But no I will not and cannot find support from me go to possibly blonde blue eye 6'3 book brian(I almost said big tittied but that's not a word but yeah they do mention his melons). I won't put myself through that. Though ghost/hallucination Brian hating on dex for having a kid will also not stand with me. A mix of both media sources to make a version of Brian Moser in my head, is about my favorite version, just for me.

Finished the first book in the dexter series few thoughts(spoiling the book):

-what do you mean that dexter and Brian are Irish twins and almost completely identical?

-dexter your mommy issues need to be talked about

-dexter what the fuck do you mean you're twenty eight?

-Brian where have you been? You were bothering me for 2-3 chapters and in that time told me nothing about the life you've led(dexter was guessing prison because brian inhumanly pale)

-Brian , you human encyclopedia and geek

-deb you don't have to forgive him, I love you and listen you have the right to ask why dex called you mommy while almost stabbing you

-dexter and Vince are adorable together , I love them together ♡

Can't take it anymore, I'm reading the dexter books, I don't want to finish the show. Got 5 chapters in and skipped to the end to see Brian. He is stressing dex out and me, he was shaking with the need to kill. He switched up on dex so many times in that conversation talking like, "I don't mean to force you into this choice, it's still your choice" to 'no? Need I remind you who the fuck your actually family is! "

I might finish this book rather quickly at this rate, going back to chapter 6

Laying awake thinking about Edward nygma learning that song for a man he barely knew, admired but didn't really know. Like that song meant the world to Oswald and he just learned it, performed it often, big things for the start of this relationship. Edward you are a sweet man ♡

Just a thought, if they get approved for a season 3 for 1994 plot line to work because it was released in theaters November 11 , 1994 just for time line purposes so late 1994
