Tiktok is probably one of THE WORST places to learn about REAL hellenic polytheism because it is rampant with misinformation and most creators are only interested in views and parroting misinformation THEY heard. Yes there are some great and informative creators on there to learn about the hellenic gods but they are far and few in-between.

INSTEAD if you're new to the religion and have no clue where to start researching/learning, here are a few phenomenal creators on here with wonderful and informative posts!

My other favorite part of night shift in an area that’s infront of a swamp are the animals, in the summer I find a crazy amount of fun insects that by the end of summer are on their last legs so I take them home for a peaceful passing. I’ve taken countless frogs, toads, salamanders back outside after rinsing them and we have stray cats around. One left her few days old kitten in my area and ran away, knew he wasn’t going to make it (he was dirty and hungry) and mama wasn’t interested in him. But taking him home and trying to help him was all I could do.

He didn’t make it but I see mama all the time with her one surviving kitten (I can’t trap and take her or feed her, my job has a lot of dangers to her so I’d rather her only visit at night when there’s only a few people) rest in peace my little rat 💕

This really is an excellent book on folk witchcraft, which, like many of its kind, gives nuggets of lore from folktales and recorded accounts from the 1500s-1900s of witches and their practices.

Here’s the thing I think conservatives don’t understand: I don’t care what someone else does with their own body.

You wanna get surgery or take medication to make you look a certain way? Okay. I don’t care

You wanna ctrl+alt+delete that clump of cells in your uterus. Sure. I don’t care.

You wanna use meds to block a natural aspect of your body’s system? Alright by me. I. Don’t. Care.

I don’t care because it’s not my body

“But what if they regret it?” So? Let them regret it. That’s their choice to live with.

“But what if that baby would have grown up to cure cancer?” Kinda short sighted on God’s part to only put that potential in one baby, yeah? (Also … you can’t cure cancer, but that’s a level of nuance for a different time)

“But what if they want to use that function in the future?” Funny thing about meds: you can just stop fucking taking them and things usually go back to normal.

I DON’T CARE WHAT ANOTHER HUMAN BEING DOES WITH THEIR OWN BODY! I don’t care 🤷‍♀️ it’s not my body so why should I have a say in it?

The choice is not “being left up to the states instead of the federal government”, it’s that the choice is being taken away from individuals.
