Samuel Anointed KIng by the Prophet Samuel

David is believed to have been twelve to sixteen years of age when he was anointed as the king of Israel. He was the youngest of Jesse’s sons and an unlikely choice for king, humanly speaking. Samuel thought Eliab, David’s oldest brother, was surely the anointed one. But God told Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7). Seven of Jesse’s sons passed before Samuel, but God had chosen none of them. Samuel asked if Jesse had any more sons. The youngest, David, was out tending sheep. So they called the boy in and Samuel anointed David with oil "and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David" (1 Samuel 16:13).

citrus star oil 🌟

stars are associated with hope, wishes, happiness, banishing negativity, and inviting positivity into one’s life. 

this recipe is using a 2% essential oil to carrier oil dilution ratio with 10ml for the volume - not meant for topical use. because it contains citrus oils, it's not suitable for skin application.

ingredients:

orange oil - happiness

tangerine oil - positive energy, dissolving negativity 

lemon oil - cleansing, happiness

lime oil - happiness, manifestation, banishing

clear quartz or aura quartz gem chips

biodegradable glitter in whatever color you want

carrier oil of your choice

dark glass container - a dropper bottle would be appropriate

instructions:

drop the gem chip into your bottle

add 1 drop of each essential oil; top off with your carrier oil and give the bottle a shake

add a pinch of glitter to the container

seal and shake well

leave in the starlight overnight to charge

uses:

add to spell jars or sachets to represent stellar energy

anoint objects such as candles, spell components, crystals, etc.

caution: many essential oils cause skin irritation and sensitivity - some more than others, especially citrus oils like the ones used in this post. citrus oils are heavily associated with photosensitivity, which is not something you want to deal with.

be careful to avoid skin contact and wash your hands after use. clean anointed items after they have served their purpose, if you plan to keep them long term. anyone can be allergic to anything - signs of an allergic reaction include anaphylaxis, respiratory distress, headache, nausea, and skin irritation (redness, blistering, itching, etc.).

The River of God is Life

Loving, faithful God our salvation, merciful and true, is He who purges sin and iniquity, and fills our lives with His beauty and the bounty of His goodness. 1 John 2:27 - "As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you,"

According to the scriptures, before you were born again, you were without the Anointed One (Jesus). If you were without the Anointed One you were also without the anointing. But now, since you are one with Christ, you are in the anointing of Jesus. The anointing is available to you in every situation you face to destroy every yoke of bondage.

The anointing of God is God on flesh doing those things only God can do. So, whatever you are facing today, begin factoring in the anointing in your life. If a yoke is holding you back, then rejoice, because the anointing will destroy it!

Anointed

I've been working on this thing for nearly 2 weeks lol but I think it was worth it!! I decided to treat this one like I was carving it instead of building it up like I usually do, and I really liked how it turned out!!

I'm going to visit my family in July (hello New Brunswick!!) and I'll finally get to meet our new dog !! Her name is Pipacs (Poppy), and her big sister is Zinnia :) And I'm going to see The Crane Wives with one of my best friends in July too!! Excited lol my summer class is going well, I'm taking Ojibwe which is super cool I love my uni lol and I'm getting a bike from the Reverend of the church I work at soon, so catch me biking to Metro on my Holy Bike™ agdgdhshja anyway have a good week yall!

Phillip Graves never considered himself a good man, in fact he had never really cared if he was. The only thing that had ever mattered to him was getting the job done and doing it right. Men, women and children, they were all nameless, faceless targets to him. Just another paycheck in his bank account.

Until the nightmares started.

Graves reaches his breaking point after having multiple nightmares where he’s being chased by a ghostly hooded figure in a skull mask. The episodes get so bad, he wakes up shaking, chest tight and unable to breathe. It’s like he can still feel those cold boney skeletal hands on his skin, tearing into his flesh.

The only thing that ever seems to sate it is tequila, he drinks it until he blacks out every night. Until he can no longer hear the reaper in his dreams, calling his name. He wakes up hungover, head splitting in two. It’s like his left eyeball is trying to free itself from the confines of his skull and it hurts like a bitch. He looks up, seeing a line of people and realizes he had passed out in the street.

He watches as the crowd slowly filters into the building he was leaned up against, confused as to what the hell they were doing here. Phil stumbles to his feet, blinking up at the beautiful church. At the entrance, greeting each person that came inside was a tall man, with a clean beard and warm chestnut eyes.

A sign from God, if there ever was such a thing.
