i'm so unbelievably upset right now, but in a good way?? THIS IS AMAZING (＃＞＜) Grim is such a dear character to me that the last few dialogues actually broke my heart</3

A kind ghost

A universe where Yuu died in the fight against Malleus and a few years later became a ghost. The problem is that ghosts don't remember how they died, their name or what their pre-death life was like. The only thing Yuu remembered was that he had a familiar named Grim who loved tuna and wanted to be the greatest wizard in the world.

People came and went from his shop frequently, so when Sam heard the sound of the door bells, he didn't think twice about answering.

"Good afternoon, my little imp! What can I do for you…." The sentence that the shopkeeper said every day stopped, the person in front of him was Yuu.

With the detail that he was slightly transparent.

"Uh… do you happen to sell tuna? I wanted to surprise my relative for when he comes back."

"Yuu…. you turned into a ghost"

"Ah… I think…. wait, did you say Yuu? That's my name? Have we met before?"

Sam was silent for a moment, it was rare for something to leave him speechless. He knows that ghosts have a tendency to forget details of their lives, but even though he hadn't had as much contact with the little one as Crewel, Trein and Vargas, the boy was still important to him.

"Well, I see we have a confused young man here. I imagine you don't have any money on you, but I'll make you a special offer for our friendship during your lifetime."

"We were friends?"

"Yes, yes, we were. Come with me, we'll meet some of your old teachers." Sam walked around the counter and signaled to some of his friends on the other side to take care of the store.

Sam knows it's not like him to leave during work or help someone without thinking of asking for something in return.

But he knows that if it weren't for Yuu, he would probably be asleep right now and for the next 100 years.

As he left the store, the imp ghost followed him asking several questions, he answered some and others just changed the subject.

"Did I go to school here? I thought Grim was the one enrolled."

"You two shared a single enrollment, I guess you could say you were the brains and he was the magic, you really were a fun duo."

"You called me Yuu before, that sounds like a nickname, what's my name?"

"I knew you as Yuu and everyone called you that or prefect, since you were the leader of the Ramshackle dormitory"

"But my name was really Yuu?"

"That's a nickname that the imp Trapolla gave you on your first day"

"Trapolla?"

"One of the best friends, you, Grim, him and Spade seemed to be tight, always getting up to mischief and causing trouble!"

The ghost was silent.

Sam took the opportunity to continue taking him to the principal's office, where he called an emergency meeting with the staff over his phone.

After a few minutes, the ghost asked another question - "Are they alive?"

Sam looked at the boy, now a little more translucent than before, which worried the man.

"Who are they?"

"The people you mentioned before…"

Sam walked over and put a hand on his shoulder, or at least tried to, "They're fine, they graduated and are living their lives peacefully, don't worry about it okay?"

"I wish I could remember."

Sam was silent.

"If you want, when Halloween comes around, we can call your friends."

"Halloween?"

"It's the time of year when ghosts are visible to the cameras."

"Thank you."

This is another story that I don't remember what comes next, but I think I stopped at a good point.

I'm going to call this AU Yuur Ghost, as a pun on Yuu's name and the word Your. Yuur Ghost AU.

There's a very sad part in this story, which is the fact that Yuu is always looking for Grim, but Grim suffered a lot with Yuu's departure and went into overblot.

And without Yuu to guide everyone, Grim didn't survive, but he didn't become a ghost either. In this AU, they even tell Yuu what happened to Grim. But it seems that Yuu always forgets about his death and goes back to looking for him or doing something for him.

like:

"You can have this sandwich here, but I'm saving that pork sandwich for Grim," he explains to the Scarabia student who is eating in the cafeteria. "Professor Trey, when you get back from your trip, could you bring some cans of tuna from your city, I'm pretty sure they're different from the ones they sell in the school store." Yuu makes a secret gesture. "But don't tell Grim, I want to surprise him." Yuu smiles. "I think this color would go well." Yuu shows a shade of purple to Crewel who is making an outfit for a student's birthday. "And if you have any fabric left, could you make a new bow for Grim? It would match his magic stone." The ghost smiles fondly, remembering the feline.

There are sad scenes, but this is AU in itself, it kind of reminds me of an anime where Grim sits in front of the Dark Mirror waiting for Yuu who came home, but it's the opposite.

Since Yuu is the one waiting for Grim to come back from class.

Well I guess that's it, until (^^,)

btw we spent an hour and a half talking about her web novels, when suddenly, she turned the mic to me and asked me to update her about twisted wonderland. the conversation got quiet real quick.

you will never catch me actually gushing about that stupid game irl (it keeps eating my gems and i'm upset at it rn)

Grimjinka!!!! Or Grim furry? IDK what this is but Grim is my baaabbby. I will do anything for him, I love his brand of tomfoolery. But I am very bad a drawing cats ok. So my compromise is to make him into a furry so I can draw Grim more. This is the ideal solution cause my brain is stupid (i can draw lions but for some reason, house cats is where I tap out). Also, I love dressing him up at a little lad. Very Tom and Jerry inspired.

In other news, Obi is not making it past Chapter 7 unfortunately. I noted in the past that he is my MC for books 1-7. This is what I meant. He’s not dead just in a coma (most likely). But yeah, chapter 7, Obi used the last of his energy and got really injured.

watching an awesome video about school refusal and i love how everyone's incredibly sympathetic towards the children. i used to have trouble going to class just because i was scared of people, and even now in college, i still do. it's nice to see how some people do care about how children are being raised nowadays
