OVERVIEW: ​♡ Story : 9/10 ♡ Mechanics : 7/10 ♡ UI/UX : 6/10 ♡ Art : 10/10

NOTES: ♡ Mechanics -> Slight delay when moving left or right in game, especially during attack/fight. ♡ UI/UX -> Definitely recommend adding an easier way to view a "help" , "pause" etc. It took me fumbling around pressing random buttons until I hit ESC to find the pause lol

Overall the art is stunning and I love the dialogue. I think the story is interesting and would love to see more.It was enjoyable to play and I'll likely play it again. The change between the hero's death throughout the game is easily one of my favorite parts.

Agreed. I've gone up and down, back and forth with learning to code. I love it but sometimes I need a break/get down on myself/ etc. I always find myself coming back to it though and I think that's what's important.

Like an example.. I had it all worked out, was super excited to start coding again. There's still a private blog I was building a theme for, that I worked all day long on for a hot minute. But things happened.. I got sick. I started coming back to it again and then became bereaved / widowed out of nowhere.

So right now, I'm not confident. I've lost most of my abilities, forgot a lot of what I learned, and my motivation is below zero. The key at least to me is to come back to it and try again. And again. Eventually it will stick more.

Gooooodmorning. I managed to study a little bit yesterday and I'm back to it again today. Yesterday I focused a lot on physics and astronomy. I think I'll do some more of it today and maybe some of a JS course

Dotty Update #3

Progress lately has been pretty slow, but going alright otherwise! We've added in some new enemies and fancy looking particle effects! Dotty's movement has also been tweaked a bit so she feels less heavy and more like she did in the Gameboy demo.
