The end of my project
Well this project has come to an end and I am sad to see it end. I really enjoyed having a spot to speak out about all my feelings and the events in my life. I plan on continuing to post but it will be different because I won’t have a school assignment causing me to post every Friday so I am curious to see how often I really post. If I could start this over I think the one thing I would do is advertise the blog more. I posted some posts on my Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter stories but those eventually expired. I could have made a permanent post on my social media every time I made a post on the blog. I could also either use more hashtags or even used different ones that would have attracted more traffic to my blog. The whole point of the blog was to make stay at home moms not feel alone but if the blog didn’t attract an audience then it wasn’t doing what I aimed to do. Hopefully moving forward I can use these ideas and some more that I learned in this class to reach a bigger audience. Overall, it was a success with helping me get out what I usually keep bottled up but I have to work on reaching more of an audience. Thank you to those that have read my post and please don’t be afraid to interact with my post. Even if it is going against my opinion or what I wrote I love hearing other people's point of views that don’t always go along with my own. I can’t wait to continue with this blog and hopefully gain a bigger community for everyone. Thank you to my Professor for this fun project as well. It really opened my eyes to how much I love blogging and what I need to do to be successful at it. What else would you all like to see on my blog as I move forward?

This is 36
Yesterday was my birthday. It was my first birthday without my Grandmother. She is the reason that I make birthdays such a big deal because she always does. Overall, it was a good day. The weather wasn't that great and it was supposed to stay that way all weekend but not doing much but spending time with family was exactly what I needed this birthday. I am excited to see what 36 brings me especially since 35 was one of the worst years of my life.

Birthday Parties
This past week went by pretty quickly which I am not complaining about. On Saturday I had a get together with friends to celebrate my and my best friend's birthday. Her birthday was April 16th and mine is this Friday April 28th. It was great getting together with all my friends. Some I haven't seen in almost a year or longer so getting to catch up and share some laughs was exactly what I needed. Now I just need to think of what I want to do this weekend for my birthday on Friday. Anyone have any fun ideas?

I Survived Spring Break 2023
My daughter went back to school today after having a week off for Spring Break. I enjoyed the time with her and being able to be with her all day long but I was happy this morning to drop her back off at school. Yes I miss her but I also missed my free time last week. We as parents have to stop feeling guilty for that. We are allowed to want free time and we are allowed to enjoy it when it happens. It's perfectly normal to have free time because otherwise we would spend every day overstimulated and stressed more than we already are. How was your Spring Break? What do you like to do with your free time?

Easter

What a great Easter! It started at 6 am with Sunrise Service and then after we went home to see what the Bunny brought my daughter and her dad. Of course the cats scared the Easter Bunny like they do every year and caused him to leave bunny droppings on my chair. Luckily it is just black jellybeans. I love being able to do these cute funny things for my daughter. She loves it and it is something she always remembers. It was a great day surrounded by family. She loved what she got in her basket and in her eggs for her egg hunt. It ended early for us we all were exhausted and in bed asleep by 7:30 pm. How was your Easter?

So much to do not enough time in the day

Thursday was a crazy day. It started working the fun run at my daughters school. This was a fundraiser they had to help collect money to make some upgrades to the schools playground. The kids collect donations and earn prizes and it ends with a fun run. The booster company brings the inflatables and a DJ and the kids have a great time. I never thought my child would be excited to run for an hour but after working it I completely understand. After the fun run I got an hour to go home and get myself ready because I had to be back at her school at 1:00 pm to run her Spring party. The kids had a great time. They enjoyed being able to make their own dessert, the crafts and it ended with an egg hunt and a game. Overall, even though it was a nonstop day it was a great day and a great way to end the week before her Spring Break started on Friday.

Fast Forward
I feel like even though this week was a busy one the whole week was put on fast forward. The days dragged but the week flew by. This week along with soccer practices and after school activities we had my daughters drama play. She did amazing and owned the stage. I was so proud of her. However, this week I don't know if it was the crazy week or what but I found myself having no motivation to get anything done at my house. When I have those days I feel so guilty that I didn't do the cleaning that I wanted to do. I know I need to let myself have those days and not be hard on myself but I feel like I failed if I didn't do the simple chore I wanted done. I am working on forgiving myself for the down and no motivation days. Do any of you have those days as well? Do you beat yourself up over them as well?

Crazy Life
Life has been constantly on the go lately. I feel like the days are just blending together and its all a blur. My daughter started soccer so now she has two things after school on Tuesday and Thursday and something after school on Wednesday as well. I have to fit all this in with my school schedule and every day life. I also am part of her HSA so I am always doing events at her school and she has soccer games every weekend. I'm looking forward to her Spring break which starts April 7th because it will be some sort of a break. I always joke to every one and say that my daughters schedule is my full time job but when I really think about it it really is. I wouldn't change it for the world but I can't wait for my small break in a couple weeks. Does your kids schedule feel like a full time job as well?

St. Patrick's Day!
Today is usually a day that I can't wait for but this year it brings mixed emotions. This is the first St. Patrick's Day without both of my grandparents. This was their holiday especially my grandfather. I had to make my grandmothers corn beef and cabbage recipe without her here to help me. She usually got the first bite and would act like it was the best tasting thing because she knew how nervous I was about not messing it up. So while I am excited it is here I just wish they were here with me to celebrate another one. I miss them both so much. How was everyone else's day? Is this a big day for your family and if so what do you usually do?

Another week down...
This week has felt like a blur. My schedule is pretty much the same every day and it is based around my daughter and all her activities and that is about to get even more extreme because we are about to add Spring Soccer to it. The only difference this week was that she had off school today so we were able to run some errands so it isn't all pushed into the weekend. Does anyone else ever feel like they are on auto pilot constantly?

Friday was a big event at my daughters school. It was the last day of read across america week and we ended it by doing the ribbon cutting for the Inchy Bookworm Vending Machine. I am so happy that her school got this and the kids are so excited. The kids will be able to earn Inchy Tokens and when they do they get to use them at the vending machine and get themselves a book to keep. It's a great way to get kids reading. Does anyone else's school have a book vending machine? I wish they had this when I was in that school.

I know this is a little different but I wanted to post a image into my life. These are my two kittens. They are my twins. All together I have 7 cats and 3 bunnies. They along with my daughter keep my hands full but I wouldn't have it any other way. What pets do you all have?

What a week..
This week was a long week but a short one at the same time. My daughter had a 4 day weekend so she had off Monday. These types of school weeks always make it seem longer than it really is. We had a lot of fun during her 4 day weekend. We went to the mall and flea market and we also went to the skating rink. She did so well with skating it was great watching her and it was a lot of fun. The only thing is that day off during the week threw me off completely. It was harder this week to find any motivation to do anything. I got it all done but I really had to push myself. Does anyone else struggle with this when their kids have a day off during the school week and feel like it throws everything off? Can't wait to hear all of your responses. Check back in with you all next Friday!

Welcome!
Welcome to my page. Here I will share my thoughts on being a busy SAHM who is also a full time student. I will also share any recipes, life hacks, and reviews of products. This is a safe space and my goal is to show other SAHM they aren't alone. <3
