行為科學的魔法 - 石田淳

最近我很迷有關心理學與腦科學的書，所以看到這本書的標題時，當然馬上被吸引了。在看這本書的時候我一直想到 查爾斯 杜希格 寫的“為什麼我們這樣生活，那樣工作？" (The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business) ，這兩本書都有提到很多心理學上的理論。我認為石田淳的這本”行為科學的魔法”是一本工作書，大人的參考書，裡面很仔細的一步步讓你知道用什麼方法讓你養成一個行為或習慣，或是如果你��一個目標，如何可以一步步的向目標前進。 “行為科學的魔法” 這本書很容易懂還有可愛的插畫(日本人的書設計排版超棒)，有許多表格帶著你去很直接明瞭的帶領你一個個步驟去嘗試你想改變的行為。從心理建設開始，如何建立目標然後如何計畫過程以實現你的最終目的。

下面是幾個我覺得建立目標行為的重點，主要是這本書作者提到的幾個方法，但我也加了一些從其他書上或是參加Workshop學到的小技巧

➜心理建設 意識“行為”而非“情緒”，要正面思考給自己鼓勵，不要再嘗試之前就覺得做不到，去做就對了！

➜目標 訂立目標要明確，用具體的實際數字說明你要達成的小項目，並從小目標開始而不要太困難。把大目標拆解成可以行動的小任務。還有個方法就是把你的目標視覺呈現，例如拿一本大的空白月曆，你的目標是想要養成每天都跑步的習慣，如果你今天做到了，就在月曆上畫個大叉，累積起來，當叉叉一多了，你就有個動力不想讓那叉叉斷掉。

➜時間規劃 體認到時間有限，因應不同的狀況做多種的計畫。比如說，一個目標，因為你可能有不同的練習時間，所以你有A, B, C計畫，A是每天有兩個小時去練習一個動作，B是每天只花一個小時，C是每天花十五分鐘。靈活地依據狀況去選擇需要的計畫。

➜找到學習對象 如果你很不擅長這件事，但你想要學習，可以從觀察頂尖人物，你崇拜的對象開始模仿。前一陣子去參加我的偶像Chris Do的Workshop的時候他也有提到這一點，找一個你喜歡的人，崇拜的mentor去學習他的行為，更進一步的話，你也可以和你的學習對象有互動，也許是問他問題，去了解他的想法，等你有一定的基礎之後，可以再帶進你自己的風格。

➜尋找事半功倍的方法 為自己設定獎勵與逞罰，心理上讓自己會有想去學習，去做的動力。另外就是將自己學會的事教導別人，"Teach while you learn."，如果你能夠很有邏輯的說出你的想法然後可以教別人這件事，表示你真的有學進這個東西，在教導別人的同時，也許對方也會問你一些問題，這樣可以讓你檢討你是不是真的懂或也能讓你學到更多東西。

➜拆解目標並檢討自己的行為 練習把一個行為拆解個十個小任務去執行。在練習各種任務時，也要回顧自己的行為，檢視有沒有需要改進的地方。

➜建立習慣 適時的給予自己達成小目標的獎勵，懂得排除阻礙，並且在達到目標之前開始計劃下一個目標。將新的行為與現有行為做連結。 然後不斷重複上述的這幾個重點讓自己建立新行為然後可以持之以恆。

如果你心裡常常都有些念頭，想做很多事情卻還沒開始行動，也許你可以跟著這本書試試看。如果你對這些心理學的理論很有興趣的話，我很推薦Charles Duhigg寫的The Power of Habit

Adobe MAX adventure 2015

Hello from Taipei, I want to share with you my recent experience at a design conference. Being an a smallish island, Taiwan has limited design learning opportunities, but thanks to Mozilla’s training program I was able to attend the Adobe Max conference, in Los Angeles. It was a great experience to venture into a different culture and to meet designers from different fields at once.

Adobe MAX is a creativity conference held in Los Angeles in October 2015. More than 7,000 people from all over the world gather together. The conference runs for three full days. It’s like a designers’ candy land because it’s full with inspirational and iconic speakers (such as Maira Kalman, Baz Luhrmann, Elle Luna, Brandon Stanton), various sessions, labs, creative workshop and the MAX keynotes! This was my first time attending this design conference. I was super excited to join the conference where I can learn about new products, technology and industry trends.

One of the keynote’s major announcement was the debut of Adobe’s new user experience and user interface design application, currently being developed under the codename Project Comet. It allows you to design and build interactive prototypes in a vector environment. It lets you takes your UX designs from start to finish with the cross-platform app — wireframing, visual design, interaction design, prototyping, previewing and sharing. As a UX designer, one of our challenges right now is that we’re looking for a easy-to-use tool to create prototypes in order to do user testings. Then we can tweak our design and repeat the process. One of Project Comet’s features is that it could import, repeat, and mask multiple images in a single step. This feature would really help us reduce the repetitive and time-consuming work needed to build the prototype so, we could have more time to refine our design. After watching Project Comet demo, I was really looking forward to the actual product. It’s very easy for designers to use and I was impressed by the performance and quality when they showed dozens of artboards in a single Project Comet document. At Adobe MAX 2015, Creative Sync was a common theme in many of the demos. Creative Sync is the technology that synchronizes assets saved to your Creative Cloud account, across many of the Adobe applications. The advantage is having the ability to store the assets in a central location so that designers can reuse them across our entire design project, which is a key benefit for us, a globally distributed team.

Overall, it was such a wonderful experience to see the graphic works made by the creatives from all over the world, meeting so many creatives and the inspiring speakers. It was exciting for me to be part of Adobe MAX. Collectively, they are bringing together the world’s best creativity, experience and product innovations.

Lastly, I want to share a quote from Baz Luhrmann when he gave his talk at Adobe MAX. I feel so lucky I get to see him in person in the conference. He is one of my favorite filmmaker who directed Romeo + Juliet (1996) and Moulin Rouge! (2001). Personally, I love the visual impact he brought to the audience in Romeo + Juliet. Luhrmann used his own style to tell a modern version of Shakespeare’s story. He attracts the audience with cinematic style with intense pace of the confrontation between two families with drastic soundtrack of contemporary music. I was fascinated by his unique way of storytelling.

BLACHOICE Metro Card

Every time I got the chance to visit a new city and to take the subway, I noticed their graphics on the card. It’s nice to see difference cities’ design on their metro card. I especially love the Japan Suica made by JR East Japan Railway. They designed a Penguin as their mascot! A while ago, they also designed a set of stickers for you to personalize your metro card!!I love Japan’s design on every little detail! IC Card WEAR @AMAZONJAPAN  Sometimes you can see the penguin appears in the posters for traffic safety promotions♥ 

Fortunately for Taipei Metro, instead of the official default metro card, BLACHOICE, a black and white design specialty store, they made super cool minimal designed metro card in both Black & white. As a designer and a black color lover, I can’t help but get one BLACHOICE subway card too!! The cards are not just pure boring black, on the back, they have polka dots, geometric lines and other patterns to add a little whimsy detail for the design. I was amazed when I got the card! The packaging is well designed. The texture of the paper and the graphics on the packaging are nice and elegant. The envelope color goes with each design. I lingered on the look and feel for a minute before I open the packaging! I also got the limited edition, it is in the gradient Sunset color! It’s nice to see there’s some cool design in our daily life in Taiwan. 

每次去別的城市玩的時候，都會覺得為什麼別人的電車卡都好可愛。尤其是日本的JR 東日本公司出的SUICA 西瓜卡，他有企鵝來當他們的吉祥物與標誌，之前還有推出了一套客製化貼紙讓大家可以依照喜好擁有個人化的電車卡 IC Card WEAR @AMAZONJAPAN

不 過台灣有個商店BLACHOICE出了一款簡約風設計的悠遊捷運卡！完全是我最喜歡的設計了，全黑。但他也有小小的款式可以選擇，像是點點，或是幾何線 條，讓全黑的卡片上還是有些細節讓你會多看他幾眼。最近他們出了一款漸層Sunset系列，顏色也是很特別！我也忍不住下手了。收到卡片的時候，開心的多 摸了它幾下。他們的包裝設計也是很用心的，紙的厚度很有質感而顏色也是與卡片的顏色搭配。還有在台灣難得可以看到的好看字型排版♥希望小島上可以有越來越 多優雅的設計！
