[handweavers]

do you have any good online (or not!) resources about finishing / framing / hanging etc weavings? i've been weaving for over ten years and i've literally never been satisfied with anything i make once it's off the loom. like what am i supposed to do with this (other than cutting it up and sewing it into something obv)

also sidenote am i missing something or is that amazing antique pattern library just fully missing weaving patterns??

yeah unfortunately the antique pattern library doesn't have them (unless i've also completely missed them??) But there are two other major online resources for antique weaving patterns and books that i use extensively:

handweaving.net weaving archive

arizona state online weaving archive (I find this website easier to navigate)

you can also find copies of antique/vintage weaving manuscripts and patterns on archive.org
