What's your favorite childhood memory?

When I was a kid, my pa would sometimes sit me on his lap while he played the piano. I still remember that fondly, and of being so memorized by his fingers moving so swiftly. And his hook!

Oh man, I want to hear your theme song so b ad! Theme songs are seriously under-appreciated these days, like, I can’t think of a good one since Teen Titans. Or maybe that show Andi Mack, I like that one, too, but it’s not like… mindblowingly epic or anything. 

If I have time after settling back into school this week I’ll try to put a little something together on the piano to show you! They honestly are! Aw, the Andi Mack one was cute, I really liked it. But I agree, it wasn’t a huge spectacular or anything-- it was definitely a feel good though!

Not like that either! Jeez, you’re really bent on the whole ‘I’m not like everyone else’ thing, aren’t you? When I say that we’re all unique in our own way I mean that we all have different talents. I have more musical talent than you do-- in the piano department. Yours is obviously show business and you excel at it! You can dance and sing, both of which are things I’m horribly mediocre at. I think highly of you, especially as someone worthy of being Kaz’s partner. But you should be able to see your own shining star without diminishing anyone else’s light, you know. It’s hard to make friends if you can’t. Everything may be a contest in show biz, but not in life-- in real life, we should be trying our best to support each other and cheer each other on. Our time on earth is too short not to. Aw thank you! I’d love to see all the far off places to be honest. Maybe bring a camera too and scrapbook all the sights and wonder things I see.

Aw, it doesn’t work like that exactly! Everyone’s unique and brilliant in their own ways. Even if you can’t see it from the outside, it’s there. It’s not a contest, you know! Oh! So that’s what you meant, and I agree! He’s gonna be very much busy being the star he deserves to be. It’s a crazy life, I’m glad he’ll have you to share it with. Hmmm, maybe not piano duels all the time, I’d like to travel as a concert pianist one day, like my pa!

I do! I like to think I have many best friends. Everyone from tangletown has a special place in my heart, and I’ve met so many wonderful people here at ASU too. Ah! Why do you say that?

I think I’ve mostly got mine done actually! Or at least mentally done. I usually do homemade things for the fam, because we used to do that when I was born and we didn’t have a lot of money. I’ll probably go back home though, catch some waves with my parents and hang out with my Auntie. What are you going to do?

Aw, yay! That’s good to hear. And I love homemade presents! I always made those little macaroni-bead necklaces for my pa when I was little. How about you, what do you usually make? I would love to hear some ideas! Going home for the holidays is always a wonderful thing to look forwards to! I’ll be doing the same, gonna be returning to Tangletown with Kaz and visiting family.

And collectors! I bet they have loads of them. That’s such a fun concept! I would absolutely accept that as a gift, I would love it. Being the hero of a fantasy story sounds mega epic like, I can already imagine my own theme song!

There’s nothing more thrilling than live performance! Maybe we could livestream too? Either way, I’m always down to perform with you. Ooh, good timing, with the holidays coming up I’ve been working on my own rendition of Baby it’s Cold Outside-- it’s a real jingle (get it?). 

Can we also do one of Janet Devlin’s Christmas songs? I’ll love you forever if we do! There’s something about her writing that’s so vulnerable and real and UGH it’s so touching. 

So when are we gonna see you and Callie collabing on Auratube? The two of you should cover a Three Wishes song.

I’ve always fancied myself and @calypsoeverhart as more of live performers than AuraTubers, to be honest, but I hear you loud and clear! The fans want it and I can’t ignore that - though personally, I’d rather do some seasonal music covers. I know everybody and their grandparents have a version of Baby It’s Cold Outside or Jingle Bell Rock, but Callie and I could do it better. Any thoughts, maestro?
