God, this was the cutest thing. Prompts of seeing the future (especially of love) will forever have me in a chokehold 😓💗
Hi! If you're not busy, can I request luffy and readers toddler daughter (is like 6yrs old) accidentally time travel to the past where luffy and reader are not together yet. And the thing is: the little girl is a complete copy of luffy, same color of hair and eyes, same gullible attitude, and the same love for meat and adventures.
Past & Future
Luffy x f! Reader
Words: 7,748
Summary: This story follows the Straw Hat Pirates years after Luffy became the Pirate King, now with his six-year-old daughter, Lanko, who bears an uncanny resemblance to him, and her mother, Y/N, a key member of the crew. When a mysterious pirate attacks, sending Lanko to the past with a devil fruit ability, the future Straw Hats unleash their fury, brutally dispatching the assailant. Meanwhile, Lanko finds herself on a younger, less-worn Thousand Sunny, encountering younger versions of her parents and their crew, who are utterly bewildered by her appearance and her claims of being Luffy and Y/N's daughter. After a heartwarming but confusing interaction where Lanko’s innate Luffy-like traits are evident, she mysteriously returns to her own time, leaving the past Straw Hats to ponder their surprising future.
Warning: This story contains instances of child endangerment, brief descriptions of a gruesome death and violence, and implied time travel use of Y/N

The salty spray of the Grand Line kissed Lanko’s cheeks as she darted across the deck, her bare feet slapping against the worn timber. A tiny whirlwind of boundless energy, she was a spitting image of her father: the same unruly black hair, the same wide, innocent eyes, and a grin that stretched just as far. “Catch me, Papa!” she squealed, a six-year-old whirlwind of giggles and pure, unadulterated joy.
“Shishishi! You’ll never escape the great Pirate King!” a familiar voice boomed, and a much larger, equally chaotic figure lunged after her. Monkey D. Luffy, King of the Pirates, was in his element, playing tag with his daughter under the endless blue sky. Five years had passed since he’d claimed the greatest treasure and the title, but not an ounce of his childlike enthusiasm had faded. Lanko was every bit his legacy—a tiny, insatiable ball of curiosity, a bottomless pit for meat, and a spirit as free as the ocean itself. From the ship’s railing, a gentle smile graced Y/N’s lips as she watched her two adventurers, her heart swelling with a love as vast as the sea they sailed.
Lanko, giggling, finally stumbled into her mother's outstretched arms, a flurry of black hair and joyful squeals. Y/N hugged her close, pressing a kiss to her daughter’s forehead. "You two are impossible," she laughed, her eyes twinkling as Luffy, still breathless from their game, flopped dramatically onto the deck beside them.
“But it’s fun, right, Y/N?” Luffy grinned up at her, his signature straw hat tilted slightly. He reached out and gently took her hand, his thumb tracing lazy circles on her skin.
Y/N leaned down, ruffling Luffy’s already messy hair. “It is fun, you big kid. But someone’s going to be starving soon, and we all know who that’ll be.” She winked at Lanko, who instantly perked up.
“Meat! Papa, meat!” Lanko bounced in Y/N’s lap, her eyes wide with anticipation.
Luffy’s face lit up, an exact mirrored expression of his daughter’s. “Shishishi! See, Y/N? She gets it! A true adventurer needs her meat!” He scrambled to his feet, pulling both Y/N and Lanko up with him. “Come on! Sanji must have something amazing cooking!”
As they walked towards the galley, Luffy swung Lanko onto his shoulders, her laughter echoing across the deck. Y/N walked beside them, her arm linked through Luffy’s. The sun began its slow descent, painting the sky in hues of orange and purple, casting long, peaceful shadows. This was their life now: a ship full of nakama, endless adventures, and the warmth of a family built on laughter, love, and an insatiable appetite for life’s simple joys. The Pirate King, his queen, and their little princess, sailing towards whatever tomorrow brought, together.
The easygoing atmosphere shattered in an instant. A jarring CRUNCH reverberated through the Thousand Sunny, followed by the screech of metal. "Enemy attack!" Usopp's panicked cry cut through the air, quickly joined by the booming of cannons.
Luffy’s playful grin vanished, replaced by a steely, focused expression. “Alright, crew! Let’s go!”
Zoro was already drawing his swords, a dangerous glint in his eye. Sanji, ever the gentleman, instantly shifted from culinary bliss to battle-ready stance. Nami, ever practical, was already pointing her Clima-Tact, calculating wind currents. Chopper, ever loyal, transformed into his Guard Point, while Robin coolly observed the encroaching ship with her keen eyes. Franky let out a “SUPER!” yell, readying his weapons, and Brook unsheathed his sword, a chilling, yet elegant, "Yohohoho!" echoing on the wind.
Y/N, without a word, scooped up Lanko, her movements swift and practiced. “Down below, sweetie. You know the drill,” she said, her voice calm despite the chaos erupting around them. Lanko, though usually boisterous, understood the gravity of the situation. Her small face was serious as she nodded, burying her face into her mother’s shoulder.
“Be safe, Mama! Papa!” she whispered, as Y/N quickly carried her towards the hatch leading to the lower decks, Sanji covering their retreat.
Luffy watched them disappear, a flicker of concern in his eyes, but it was quickly overshadowed by his unwavering resolve. He stretched his arm, rubbery and formidable. “Alright! Let’s show these guys who they’re messing with!” The roar of cannon fire intensified, but the Straw Hat Pirates, seasoned by countless battles, met the challenge head-on. Their captain, the Pirate King, stood ready, his nakama by his side, prepared to defend their ship, their dreams, and the precious, innocent life they’d just sent to safety.
The roar of battle raged for what felt like an eternity, but was probably only ten minutes. Cannons boomed, steel clashed, and the familiar shouts of the Straw Hats filled the air. Then, cutting through the cacophony, a sound that froze them all: a high-pitched, terror-stricken scream.
"Lanko!" Y/N shrieked, her voice raw with fear. Luffy's head snapped around, his eyes wide with a primal fury. How had they gotten to her?
On the shattered remnants of the lower deck, amidst splintered wood and scattered supplies, a gruff-looking pirate stood over a trembling Lanko. His hand hovered inches from her face, his index finger glowing with an ominous, sickly green light. Lanko was huddled on the floor, her small hands pressed to her mouth, tears streaming down her face.
"One move, Straw Hats," the pirate snarled, his voice gravelly, "and this little brat gets a taste of true despair." He looked directly at Luffy, a cruel smirk twisting his lips. "You call yourself the Pirate King? Watch as your own flesh and blood vanishes." He didn't know the full power of his Toki Toki no Mi (Time-Time Fruit), only that it could erase people from existence. He had no idea he was threatening to send the Pirate King's daughter to a time unknown.
A guttural growl ripped from Luffy’s throat, a sound of pure, unadulterated rage that vibrated through the Sunny. Y/N’s face was ashen, her eyes fixed on her daughter, a silent scream caught in her throat.
"Don't you dare!" Luffy bellowed, stretching his arm, rubbery and menacing, towards the pirate. But the man was faster.
With a malicious laugh, the pirate slammed his glowing finger onto Lanko's forehead. A blinding flash of sickly green light erupted, enveloping the little girl. Before anyone could move, before even Luffy's extended arm could reach her, Lanko simply vanished. The light faded, leaving behind only the lingering scent of ozone and the gaping hole in the lower deck where she had been.
Silence, thick and suffocating, fell over the Straw Hats. It was a silence far more terrifying than any battle cry.
Then, the storm broke.
"LANKO!" Y/N screamed, a raw, primal wail of despair as she collapsed to her knees.
Luffy’s eyes were no longer wide with fury, but cold, hard, and utterly murderous. Every muscle in his body tensed, and the air around him crackled with an oppressive haki. "You," he said, his voice deceptively quiet, a tremor of unimaginable power beneath it. "Bring her back. Now."
Zoro’s hand was already on his wado ichimonji, the sheathed blade vibrating with his suppressed bloodlust. Sanji’s leg was cocked, ready to strike, his face contorted in a mask of grim determination. Nami’s Clima-Tact sparked with an ominous electricity, and Robin’s eyes narrowed, a thousand arms ready to bloom. Franky’s cannons hummed with energy, Chopper let out a furious growl, and even the usually composed Brook seemed to radiate a chilling aura.
The pirate, though initially smug, felt a cold dread creep up his spine. He had faced countless pirate crews, but this was different. This wasn't just a challenge; this was the wrath of a father, of a mother, of a family pushed beyond their breaking point.
"What did you do?!" Y/N sobbed, pushing herself up and stumbling towards the man, pure fury in her eyes. "Where did you send her?!"
The pirate, despite his bravado, suddenly looked uncomfortable. "She's... she's not gone for good," he stammered, his bravado cracking under the combined glare of the Straw Hats. He knew his Toki Toki no Mi sent people forward in time, but he had no control over where or when exactly. "She's just... moved. In time."
"Time?" Luffy's voice was a low growl, more dangerous than any roar. "You better bring her back. Or I will tear you apart piece by piece until there's nothing left but dust!"
Meanwhile..
The blinding green light dissipated, and Lanko stumbled, catching herself before she fell. She squeezed her eyes shut, expecting the splintered deck of her father's ship, the frantic shouts of battle. When she opened them, a profound silence met her, broken only by the gentle lapping of waves against a hull.
She was still on the Thousand Sunny, that much was clear. The familiar lion's head figurehead stared out proudly, the grassy deck felt the same under her bare feet, and the smell of the sea was just as salty. But something was… off. The ship looked new. Not a single scratch marred the polished wood, no scorch marks from recent battles, no worn patches from years of adventurous wear and tear. It gleamed, pristine, as if it had just set sail.
And then she saw them.
A young woman with bright orange hair was meticulously drawing a map at a large table, her brow furrowed in concentration. Next to her, a man with a long nose was dramatically recounting a tale to a reindeer, who seemed engrossed. A lean, blond man was humming softly in the galley, a plume of steam rising from a pot. A swordsman with green hair was asleep against the mast, three swords nestled beside him. A dark-haired woman was reading a book, a faint smile on her lips. And a skeleton was playing a gentle tune on his violin.
They were her family, her nakama, but… younger. Much younger. The green-haired swordsman looked less scarred, the blond cook’s face was less lined with battle fatigue, the navigator’s eyes held a youthful spark she didn't usually see. And her mother… she wasn't here. Lanko spun around, searching, but Y/N was nowhere in sight.
The orange-haired woman looked up from her map, her eyes widening slightly as she spotted the small figure. “Hey! Who’s that?” she called out, her voice wary.
Lanko, still reeling from the sudden, jarring change, could only stare. Her six-year-old mind struggled to process this familiar yet alien Sunny, these familiar yet unfamiliar faces. She looked exactly like her father, a tiny, wide-eyed replica, standing utterly alone on a ship that was home, but wasn't.
Lanko’s lower lip began to tremble. The faces of her family, younger and unlined by the battles she knew they’d faced, were now staring at her with confused, almost suspicious eyes. This wasn’t home. Not her home. A sob hitched in her throat, raw with sudden, overwhelming fear.
“Daddy! Mommy!” she wailed, her voice small and shaky, echoing strangely in the quiet air. Tears welled in her big, dark eyes, identical to her father’s.
The orange-haired woman, Nami, exchanged a glance with the long-nosed man, Usopp. “Daddy? Mommy?” Nami mumbled, then her eyes widened as she took in Lanko’s features more closely. “Wait a minute… she looks just like…”
Before she could finish the thought, the door to the galley burst open with a familiar, explosive energy. “Meat! Is Sanji making meat yet? I’m starving!”
And then he stepped out.
He was undeniably Luffy. The same wild, black hair, the same boundless energy practically radiating off him, the same intense focus, currently aimed at the galley. But he was younger, much younger, without the subtle gravitas of the Pirate King she knew.
Their eyes met. Young Luffy blinked, his perpetual grin faltering as he saw the tiny, crying girl. His head tilted, a familiar gesture. “Who are you?” he asked, his voice still full of an almost aggressive curiosity.
Lanko’s sobs hitched. She saw him. Her Papa. Younger, but still him. The sight of his familiar face, even in this strange, new form, broke through her fear. Her little arms instinctively reached out.
“Papa!” she cried, a joyous, desperate sound, and dashed across the deck, launching herself at the bewildered young captain.
The entire Straw Hat crew collectively gasped. The resemblance, uncanny before, was now undeniable. Two identical faces, two sets of wide, dark eyes, two explosions of black hair. The only difference was the height and the fact that one was a little girl, clinging fiercely to a young man who looked exactly like her.
Luffy, momentarily stunned, instinctively caught the small girl, who wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, sobbing into his shoulder. "Papa! I’m sorry! I’m so, so sorry! I tried to hide, but he found me, and his hand glowed, and I didn’t mean to disappear, I promise!” Her words tumbled out in a teary, incoherent rush, punctuated by hiccuping breaths.
The younger Straw Hats stared, utterly bewildered.
“’Disappear’?” Nami repeated slowly, looking between the crying girl and their equally confused captain. “What is she even talking about?”
Usopp, ever the quick thinker (or quick fabricator), dramatically clutched his head. “Aha! I’ve got it! It’s… it’s a temporal displacement anomaly! She’s from the future! Yes! A time traveler!” He puffed out his chest, completely convinced by his own spur-of-the-moment lie. “That villain must have used a… a ‘Time-Time Fruit’ to send her here!”
“Time travel? Usopp, don’t be ridiculous!” Sanji scoffed, though he couldn’t tear his eyes away from the scene. The resemblance was uncanny, almost spooky.
Luffy, meanwhile, was completely absorbed in Lanko. He gently patted her back, his brow furrowed in concern, though he didn't grasp a single word of her apology. “Hey, hey, why are you crying?” he asked, his usual boisterous tone softened. “Did you get hungry? Did someone take your meat?” His priorities, even in the face of a crying, time-displaced child, remained refreshingly simple. “Don’t worry, no one’s gonna hurt you here! We’ll just find you some meat!”
Lanko, still sniffling, looked up at him with tear-filled eyes, so much like his own. “Meat?” she whispered, her tears momentarily forgotten.
“Shishishi! Yeah, meat!” Luffy grinned, his concern immediately shifting to the promise of food. He hoisted her onto his shoulders, her small, identical face now perched above his, still streaked with tears but already showing the glimmer of a hopeful, familiar smile.
The rest of the crew exchanged exasperated glances. They had a miniature, crying version of their captain on their hands, apparently from the future, and their actual captain was already bonding over food. This was going to be a long day.
As Luffy, oblivious to the existential crisis unfolding around him, bounced Lanko on his shoulders, the rest of the Straw Hats watched in a mix of awe and disbelief.
“Did you see that?” Usopp whispered, nudging Nami. “The way her eyes lit up at ‘meat’! It’s just like him!”
Nami nodded slowly, a dawning realization spreading across her face. “It’s not just how she looks, Usopp. It’s… everything. She’s got his exact same level of… well, Luffyness.”
Down below, Lanko was already chattering excitedly. “Is it really meat, Papa? Like, a whole mountain of it? With bones to gnaw on?” Her tiny fists pumped the air, her face already mirroring Luffy’s enthusiastic grin.
“Shishishi! Of course! Sanji makes the best meat!” Luffy declared, completely delighted by her reaction. “We’ll eat until our bellies burst!”
Sanji, despite being a bit flustered by the sudden appearance of a child who looked exactly like his captain, couldn't help but crack a small smile at the sheer, unadulterated joy radiating from the pair. “Alright, alright, you two bottomless pits,” he called out, heading back into the galley with a fond sigh.
Zoro, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up, a rare smirk on his face. “Looks like we’ve got two idiots on our hands now.”
Robin chuckled softly, her eyes twinkling. “Indeed. Her innocent wonder, her immediate focus on food… it’s quite remarkable.”
Even Chopper, who had been whimpering with worry a moment ago, found himself giggling at Lanko’s unbridled excitement. She wasn’t just a mini-Luffy in appearance; she embodied his very essence – his unwavering optimism, his simple desires, his utter gullibility, and that unshakeable love for adventure that always, inevitably, led them into trouble. She was a carbon copy, right down to her impulsive dashes and infectious giggles. The crew knew, with a sinking feeling of inevitability, that their lives had just become even more chaotic.
Just as the younger Straw Hats were beginning to process the sheer audacity of Lanko’s mini-Luffy persona, a familiar, slightly exasperated voice cut through the air. “What in the world is going on out here? I swear, if someone broke Sanji’s favorite pan again, I’m putting them on dish duty for a month!”
Y/N stepped onto the deck, her hands on her hips, her eyes immediately scanning the chaos. She had been below deck, organizing supplies with a meticulousness that sharply contrasted with the usual Straw Hat pandemonium. Her (hair color) hair was pulled back, a few wisps escaping, and her expression, though firm, held a hint of amusement – a typical look when dealing with her chaotic crewmates.
Her gaze landed first on the unusual sight of a tiny girl perched on Luffy’s shoulders, then on the shocked faces of the rest of the crew. “Seriously, what’s all the ruckus about?” she asked, already walking closer, her usual calm demeanor slightly ruffled by the sheer volume of the commotion.
Lanko, who had been mid-giggle about the promise of meat, froze. Her wide, dark eyes, identical to Luffy's, locked onto Y/N. A gasp escaped her lips, and the nascent smile vanished, replaced by an expression of pure, unadulterated relief.
“Mama!”
The single word ripped through the air, sharp and clear. Lanko launched herself from Luffy’s shoulders with astonishing speed, a tiny blur of black hair. She didn't hesitate, didn't even stumble, but propelled herself straight into Y/N’s arms, burying her face into her side.
“Mama?”
The question reverberated among the stunned Straw Hats. Nami’s jaw dropped. Usopp’s eyes bugged out even further. Sanji nearly dropped the serving tray he was unconsciously holding. Zoro’s perpetual smirk disappeared, replaced by genuine shock. Luffy, surprisingly, looked less surprised and more bewildered, as if wondering why his new tiny friend had suddenly abandoned him.
Y/N, caught completely off guard, instinctively wrapped her arms around the small child clinging to her. Her eyes, filled with confusion, darted from Lanko’s sobbing face to the shocked expressions of her crew, and finally, to the very familiar, very Luffy-like features of the little girl now nestled against her. A cold dread, mixed with an unshakeable sense of déjà vu, began to settle in her stomach.
“Mama!” Lanko sobbed into Y/N’s side, her tiny hands clutching Y/N’s shirt as if she were the last anchor in a storm.
Y/N, utterly bewildered, instinctively tightened her hold on the child. Her mind raced, grappling with the impossible. Mama? She wasn’t a mother. She and Luffy… they were close, yes, closer than anyone else on the crew, a bond forged in countless adventures and shared dreams. But certainly not that close. Not yet.
“What… what is going on?” Y/N asked, her voice a strained whisper as she looked at the baffled faces of her crewmates.
Nami, pale and wide-eyed, pointed a trembling finger at the little girl. “She just called you ‘Mama’!”
“And she called Luffy ‘Papa’!” Usopp squeaked, half-hiding behind Zoro. “This is insane! They look exactly alike! And she just jumped out of nowhere!”
Luffy, still standing with his arms outstretched where Lanko had been a moment ago, finally piped up. “But she called me Papa first! Why’d she leave?” he pouted, genuinely confused by Lanko’s sudden defection.
Y/N looked down at the sobbing child, who was now peeking up at her through tear-filled eyes, so painfully familiar. The same wide, innocent dark eyes as Luffy. The same messy black hair. Even the same tear-streaked, slightly grubby face. It was like looking at a miniature, female version of their captain.
“Sweetheart,” Y/N began gently, trying to keep her voice calm despite the mounting confusion. “I don’t… I don’t understand. Who are you?” She stroked Lanko’s hair, her gaze searching for some explanation in the child’s tear-soaked face.
Lanko only cried harder, clinging tighter. “It’s me, Lanko! Don’t you remember? We were playing tag, and then the bad man… and the green light…”
The green light. Y/N’s eyes flashed to Usopp. “Usopp, what was that ridiculous thing you were saying about time travel?”
Usopp gulped, taking a step back from Y/N’s intense stare. “Well, I mean, it’s just a theory! But she said ‘disappear,’ and then she called him Papa and you Mama, and she looks exactly like… well, you know!” He gestured wildly between Luffy and Lanko.
The revelation hung in the air, absurd yet undeniable. This child, Lanko, with her uncanny resemblance to Luffy, calling them ‘Mama’ and ‘Papa’… could she really be from the future? A future where Y/N and Luffy were… together? The thought was both staggering and utterly unbelievable. They were just friends, incredibly close friends, but the idea of a family… it was a leap of faith neither of them had even considered. Yet, here she was, living proof of an impossible future.
Y/N held Lanko close, her mind reeling. The child’s warmth against her, the dampness of her tears, the unmistakable face staring up at her—it was all too real to be a dream. She looked at Luffy, who was now scratching his head, a thoughtful frown on his face. He seemed to be piecing things together in his own simplistic way.
“So,” Luffy began, his voice surprisingly soft. “She’s… our kid?” He pointed first at himself, then at Y/N, then back at Lanko, as if confirming a challenging math problem.
Nami buried her face in her hands. “Luffy, don’t just accept it like that! It’s impossible! We’re not even…” She trailed off, a blush creeping onto her cheeks.
Sanji, for once speechless, just lit a cigarette and exhaled a long plume of smoke, his eyes wide. Zoro merely grunted, but even he seemed utterly baffled, his hand still instinctively on his katana.
Y/N, however, was already looking past the impossibility. She felt a strange, protective surge for the little girl in her arms. Lanko might be from an impossible future, but she was terrified and crying. “Lanko,” Y/N said, her voice gentle, “can you tell us your full name?”
Lanko sniffled, wiping her nose with the back of her hand. “Lanko… Lanko Monkey.”
The name hung in the air, a definitive, undeniable connection. Monkey. Luffy’s surname.
Luffy’s eyes widened even further, then a slow, wide grin stretched across his face. “Shishishi! My name! She’s got my name!” He clapped his hands together, suddenly beaming. The gravity of the situation, the impossible time travel, the sheer improbability of it all, seemed to completely bypass him. He was just excited about having a mini-him.
Y/N, on the other hand, felt a blush creep up her neck. Lanko Monkey. Their daughter. The thought, once unthinkable, now felt oddly… warm. She looked at Luffy, whose eyes were now sparkling with an adventurous glee that only Lanko seemed to share.
“So, you’re really from the future, Lanko?” Usopp ventured, cautiously approaching. “And Luffy’s… your dad? And Y/N’s… your mom?” He still sounded like he was trying to convince himself.
Lanko nodded earnestly, her tears drying. “Uh-huh! Papa’s the Pirate King! And Mama helps him! And we have lots of adventures and eat lots of meat!” She seemed to have forgotten her earlier terror, now fully embracing the wonder of explaining her life.
The crew stared, dumbfounded. The Pirate King. Luffy. It was their dream, their ultimate goal, but hearing it spoken so casually by a child who was apparently their captain’s own flesh and blood… it made the dream feel incredibly, tangibly close. And the fact that Y/N was by his side, his partner, his wife, the mother of his child… that was a revelation all its own.
“The Pirate King…” Robin murmured, a knowing smile playing on her lips. “It seems our future is quite… interesting.”
Y/N tightened her embrace on Lanko, a mix of shock, fear, and a burgeoning sense of wonder swirling within her. This little girl, their daughter, was a living, breathing paradox. How would they get her back? And what did her sudden appearance mean for their own present?
“So, you’re really from the future, Lanko?” Usopp pressed, his voice still a shaky mix of disbelief and morbid curiosity. “And Luffy’s… your dad? And Y/N’s… your mom?”
Lanko nodded vigorously, her eyes sparkling with innocent conviction. “Uh-huh! Papa’s the Pirate King! And Mama helps him! And we have lots of adventures and eat lots of meat!” She then looked up at Y/N with wide, earnest eyes. “Are we gonna have meat now, Mama? I’m hungry from time traveling!”
Y/N let out a small, bewildered laugh, a sound that was half amusement, half sheer bewilderment. “Time traveling hunger, huh?” She looked at the rest of the crew, who were still processing this bombshell.
Luffy, meanwhile, had been silently absorbing Lanko’s explanation, a thoughtful expression on his face. Then, his face broke into his signature wide, unshakeable grin. “Shishishi! That makes sense! I really like Y/N!” He declared, completely oblivious to the blushing that immediately stained Y/N’s cheeks and the collective groan from the rest of the crew.
“Luffy, you idiot!” Nami spluttered, burying her face in her hands. Sanji’s eyebrow twitched, and even Zoro looked like he wanted to facepalm.
Y/N felt her heart do a strange little flip. He really liked her. Hearing it so casually, so innocently, from his younger self, after holding their future daughter… it was overwhelming.
“So, you’re just… accepting this, Luffy?” Robin asked, a small smile playing on her lips, clearly amused by the captain’s straightforward, utterly naive acceptance of the impossible.
“Why not?” Luffy tilted his head. “She looks just like me! And she likes meat! And she says Y/N’s her mama, and I like Y/N a lot, so that’s good!” He beamed, as if solving a particularly tricky puzzle with remarkable ease. For Luffy, the most complex paradoxes were often resolved by the simplest, most emotionally driven logic.
The crew exchanged resigned glances. There was no reasoning with him when he got like this. Their captain, the man who would be King of the Pirates, was currently too busy marveling at the existence of his future daughter to even consider the mind-boggling implications of time travel or his own future romantic entanglements.
Y/N, still holding Lanko, could only shake her head, a soft smile playing on her lips despite the chaos. It seemed their immediate future involved not only figuring out how to get a six-year-old time traveler back to her own time, but also navigating the very interesting (and now very public) revelation of their own potential future.
Y/N took a deep breath, pushing down the swirling maelstrom of confusion and embarrassment. The future, their relationship, time travel… it was all too much to process right now. Her gaze softened as she looked down at the tiny, hopeful face buried against her. Lanko was here, now, and she was scared and hungry. That was the only reality that mattered at this very moment.
A new side of Y/N emerged, a warmth that had always been present but carefully guarded, now blossoming without restraint. The wall she often kept around herself, a shield against the unpredictable chaos of the Grand Line, seemed to crumble entirely. Her touch became gentler, her voice infused with a tenderness the crew rarely heard from her.
“I bet you’re hungry,” Y/N murmured, brushing a stray strand of black hair from Lanko’s forehead. “If you have Luf— your father’s appetite, you must be absolutely starving.” She caught herself before saying Luffy’s name, the implication of the “father” too raw, too sudden for now. “Let’s go get you something good to eat, hm? Doesn’t that sound good, sweetheart?” Her thumb gently stroked Lanko’s cheek.
Lanko’s eyes, wide and still a little teary, lit up like tiny lanterns. “Meat?” she whispered, a familiar refrain.
Y/N smiled, a soft, genuine smile that reached her eyes. “Yes, sweetheart. Plenty of meat.” She looked up at Sanji, whose usually lovestruck expression was now one of profound awe. “Sanji, could you whip up something special for our… guest?”
Sanji, snapping out of his stupor, puffed out his chest. “Of course, Y/N-chan! Anything for such a cute little lady!” He dashed back into the galley, his usual theatrics slightly muted by the shocking revelation.
The rest of the crew watched, stunned. They had known Y/N as capable, intelligent, resilient, and fiercely loyal. But this raw, instinctive warmth, this immediate, undeniable motherly tenderness… it was a side of her they had never witnessed. It was as if, confronted with an impossible truth, she had simply bypassed the logic and embraced the heart of the matter. Luffy, ever oblivious to the deeper emotional currents, just cheered, “Shishishi! Meat!” and followed them, completely satisfied with this unexpected addition to their crew.
The Straw Hats watched, a silent tableau of surprise. Nami’s mouth was still agape, Sanji had forgotten his cooking, and even Zoro’s usual indifference had cracked. They had always known Y/N was compassionate, especially with Chopper, but this was different. This was a raw, unfiltered maternal instinct, a protective tenderness that stripped away all her usual guardedness. It was a rare, beautiful display of a side of her they’d never truly seen.
As Y/N walked towards the galley, Lanko nestled securely in her arms, Luffy naturally fell into step beside them. He didn’t question it, didn’t even seem to notice the shift in the crew’s demeanor. He was just doing what felt natural. And as the crew watched them go – the little girl identical to Luffy clinging to Y/N, Luffy himself radiating a simple, contented joy by Y/N’s side – the pieces started to click into place.
They had always been exceptionally close. During battles, Luffy was always by Y/N’s side, his rubbery limbs a whirlwind of protection. And Y/N, with her sharp mind and quick reflexes, was always there to cover his blind spots, to anticipate his impulsive moves. After a skirmish, Luffy was inevitably the first to check on Y/N, his goofy grin replaced by genuine concern, and Y/N would, in turn, subtly assess him, her touch gentle as she checked for scrapes. They had seen the small things, the lingering glances, the comfortable silences, the way they instinctively moved in sync. But seeing Lanko call them "Mama" and "Papa," and witnessing Y/N’s immediate, undeniable embrace of that role, combined with Luffy’s simple, heartfelt “I really like Y/N!”… it wasn’t just closeness. It was love. A quiet, deeply rooted love that had been there all along, blossoming subtly in the background of their grand adventures, and now, revealed in the most impossible way, by a child from a future they never knew they were building.
The crew, having witnessed Y/N’s instant transformation into a doting mother, exchanged glances filled with a potent mix of astonishment and dawning comprehension. The easy camaraderie between Luffy and Y/N had always been evident, a comforting presence on their ship. But the casual revelation, the sheer, undeniable proof of a future built together… it cast their entire relationship in a new light.
Nami, ever the observer of human nature, watched as Y/N gently coaxed a smile from Lanko, her movements fluid and tender. She saw the way Luffy, seemingly oblivious to the emotional magnitude of the moment, still instinctively hovered near Y/N, as if drawn by an invisible thread. It wasn't just about fighting side-by-side or sharing laughs. It was a silent language, a profound connection that had always been there, just below the surface of their adventurous lives.
“They really… they really love each other,” Nami whispered, almost to herself, the words heavy with revelation.
Usopp, who had recovered from his initial shock, nodded slowly. “I guess we just… never really thought about it. Luffy’s always been so focused on being Pirate King, and Y/N’s always been so… Y/N. But it makes sense, doesn’t it?” He recalled countless moments: Y/N patching up Luffy’s ridiculous injuries with a soft exasperation, Luffy sharing his most treasured meat with her, the way their eyes would always find each other in a crowd.
Sanji, leaning against the galley doorframe, let out a long sigh, a bittersweet smile on his face. “Ah, Y/N-chan… always so graceful, so kind. And now… a mother.” He ran a hand through his hair. Even his ingrained chivalry, usually so overt, had taken a back seat to the genuine emotional impact of the scene. The image of the future Pirate King and the woman he admired as parents, a real family, was profoundly moving.
Zoro, for once, didn’t comment or snicker. He simply watched the trio disappear into the galley, his singular eye narrowed in thought. He had always trusted Luffy’s instincts implicitly, and Luffy’s instinct was clearly to keep Y/N by his side. If this little girl was the result, then it was just another part of the chaotic, yet ultimately incredible, journey they were on.
Robin's soft chuckle broke the contemplative silence. "It seems the tides of destiny run deeper than we often perceive." She looked at her crewmates, her usual calm radiating a quiet understanding. "A family built not just on shared dreams and adventures, but on genuine affection and unwavering support. It truly is a beautiful thing."
The realization settled over the Straw Hats like a warm blanket. They had always been a family, bound by loyalty and shared purpose. But now, with Lanko’s sudden appearance, they understood the true depth of the bond between their captain and their friend. It was more than just comradeship; it was a love story unfolding right before their eyes, a testament to the powerful, unforeseen currents of the Grand Line.
The sudden, earth-shattering realization hit Usopp first, a lightbulb igniting above his head so brightly it almost outshone the Grand Line sun. “Wait a minute!” he exclaimed, his voice cracking with excitement. “If Lanko’s from the future… she knows everything!”
Like a ripple effect, the same thought spread through the rest of the Straw Hats. Their dreams, their goals, the very answers to the questions that had driven them across the seas – they were all embodied in this six-year-old girl.
A frantic rush ensued as the entire crew stampeded towards the galley. Inside, the comforting aroma of sizzling meat filled the air as Y/N, her sleeves rolled up, was meticulously browning a large cut, while Lanko sat perched on a stool, her small legs swinging, eyes fixated on the delicious offering. Luffy, predictably, was already drooling beside her.
“ is the All Blue real?!” Sanji was the first to burst in, his eyes wide and earnest, completely forgetting his duties at the stove.
“How many Berries do we have in the future, Lanko?! Are we rich beyond imagination?!” Nami demanded, her eyes practically gleaming with avarice as she pushed past Sanji.
Zoro shoved Nami aside. “Hey, brat! Am I the world’s greatest swordsman?! Did I beat that hawk-eyed bastard?!”
“Is my brave warrior of the sea story true?! Did I really become a great hero and fight giant monsters?!” Usopp yelled, waving his arms wildly.
Chopper, bouncing on the balls of his hooves, cried, “Did I cure all diseases?! Am I the best doctor in the world?!”
“How’s the Sunny looking?! Is she still SUPER?! Did we build any new weapons?!” Franky roared, already making a dramatic pose.
Robin’s voice, though calmer, was no less intense. “Were we able to find all the Poneglyphs? Did we uncover the truth of the Void Century?!”
Lanko, who had just been about to reach for a piece of perfectly cooked meat, froze. Her eyes darted from one shouting face to another, a tiny, overwhelmed figure caught in a storm of impossible questions. She tried to speak, her mouth opening, but before she could utter a single word, another question, louder and more insistent, cut her off. Her lower lip began to tremble, and her dark eyes welled up with fresh tears.
“Stop it!” Y/N’s voice cracked like a whip, sharp and commanding. She instinctively stepped in front of Lanko, shielding the child with her body. Her eyes blazed with a fierce protectiveness the crew had rarely seen directed at them. “Look at her! You’re overwhelming her!”
Luffy, who had been momentarily distracted by the commotion, finally registered Lanko’s distress. His cheerful grin vanished, replaced by a dark, angry scowl. “Hey! Don’t make Lanko cry!” he bellowed, his voice suddenly infused with a chilling, authoritative tone that brooked no argument. His arm stretched, rubbery and menacing, acting as another barrier between the questioning crew and the trembling child. “If you make my daughter cry, I’ll kick all your asses!”
The kitchen fell silent, the boisterous energy of moments before replaced by a sudden, unnerving stillness. The Straw Hats, accustomed to Luffy’s unpredictable nature, were nonetheless stunned by the raw intensity of his anger. This wasn’t his usual playful indignation; this was the chilling, unwavering fury of a father defending his child. His eyes, usually so full of innocent wonder, were now dark and sharp, mirroring the serious glint in Zoro’s usually half-closed one.
Y/N, still shielding Lanko, nodded in agreement, her own protective instincts flaring. “He’s right,” she stated, her voice low and steady. “She’s a scared little girl in a strange place, not an encyclopedia for your ambitions. Give her some space.” She ran a soothing hand over Lanko's trembling back.
Lanko, sensing her parents' unwavering protection, sniffled and peeked out from behind Y/N’s leg, her big eyes wide with a lingering fear that slowly began to recede.
Nami, taken aback by Luffy’s sudden shift in demeanor, slowly lowered her hands. “We didn’t mean to upset her, Luffy,” she said, her voice softer than usual. “We were just… surprised.”
“Yeah, we just got a little excited,” Usopp added, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. He hadn’t actually intended to scare the kid.
Luffy’s rubbery arm slowly retracted, but his gaze remained fixed on his crew, a clear warning in his eyes. He then knelt beside Y/N, gently patting Lanko’s head. “See? No more questions now,” he reassured her, his voice immediately softening. “Just meat.”
Sanji, feeling the tension dissipate, quickly regained his composure. “Right! Meat for the little lady!” He returned to the stove with renewed vigor, determined to create a culinary masterpiece that would soothe the startled child.
Y/N gave Lanko a comforting squeeze. “That’s right, sweetheart. Just meat for now.” She looked at the chastened crew, a small, knowing smile playing on her lips. They might be world-renowned pirates with grand dreams, but when it came to a crying child, especially their captain's child, even the most formidable adventurers had to back down. The future could wait; Lanko’s comfort was the only priority.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in fiery hues, a peaceful quiet settled over the Thousand Sunny. The earlier chaos had given way to the gentle hum of the ship at sea. Inside the galley, a makeshift feast had been prepared, with Sanji pulling out all the stops for their unexpected guest. Lanko, her initial fear long gone, was now happily stuffed with meat, her infectious giggles filling the space as Luffy regaled her with exaggerated tales of his adventures, making sound effects that only he seemed to understand.
Y/N watched them, a soft smile on her face. Her hand, almost unconsciously, rested on Lanko's back. The crew, too, had relaxed. Nami was showing Lanko how to draw a crude map of the galley, Chopper was offering her candy, and Usopp was attempting to impress her with a perfectly aimed rubber-band shot at a stray crumb. Even Zoro, usually aloof, had a subtle, almost imperceptible curve to his lips as he watched the scene. Brook played a soft, soothing melody on his violin, and Franky was quietly tinkering with a new invention, occasionally glancing up with a "SUPER!" whenever Lanko laughed.
It was a perfectly ordinary night for the Straw Hats, made extraordinary by the tiny, future-version of their captain. For a few hours, the questions of time travel and paradoxes were forgotten, replaced by the simple warmth of shared food and companionship. Lanko, nestled between Luffy and Y/N on the bench, yawned widely, her eyes drooping.
"Tired, sweetheart?" Y/N murmured, stroking her hair.
Lanko nodded, leaning into Y/N's side, a contented sigh escaping her lips. "It's been a long day, Mama," she mumbled, her words slurring with sleepiness.
Suddenly, a faint, sickly green shimmer appeared around Lanko. It was barely noticeable at first, a subtle distortion in the air around her. Luffy, sensing something, stopped mid-sentence. Y/N felt a strange vibration emanating from the child in her arms.
Then, the shimmer intensified. Lanko gasped, a tiny, choked sound. "Mama... Papa... I feel... weird!" Her small hand reached out, her fingers beginning to glow with the same eerie green light they had seen earlier.
Before anyone could react, Lanko’s form began to waver. Her edges blurred, and her body seemed to lose its solidity. Specks of her started to detach, swirling away like emerald dust motes in the air. A horrifying realization dawned on Y/N: she wasn't just glowing; she was devolving. Turning into green dust.
The chilling sight of Lanko dissolving into shimmering green dust sent a fresh wave of panic through the galley. Luffy, his eyes wide with alarm, instinctively reached out, but his hand passed straight through her shoulder as if she were made of smoke.
"Lanko!" he cried, his voice laced with desperation.
Y/N, however, felt a sudden, profound understanding. This wasn't another attack; this was Lanko being pulled back. Pulled back to her own time, to the future. A bittersweet pang hit her heart. She knelt, embracing the fading form as best she could, the green motes of light swirling around them both.
"She's going back," Y/N whispered, her voice thick with emotion, her eyes already tearing up. "She's going home."
Lanko, her tiny face flickering like a candle flame, looked up at Y/N, then at Luffy, her eyes wide and suddenly understanding. “Mama… Papa…” she whispered, her voice faint, almost inaudible.
Luffy, grasping the painful truth, knelt down too, his earlier anger replaced by a profound sadness. He reached out again, this time not trying to grab her, but simply touching the swirling green light that was his daughter. "Lanko," he said, his voice surprisingly gentle, "Don't cry."
Y/N pulled Lanko into one last, tight hug, the warmth of the child quickly dissipating. "Be brave, sweetheart," she choked out, a tear finally escaping and tracing a path down her cheek. "We'll see you in the future. We promise."
Luffy, his face a mixture of sorrow and his usual unshakeable resolve, offered his signature wide, if slightly watery, grin. "Shishishi! Go have more adventures, Lanko! We'll catch up to you! In the future!"
With one final, faint spark, Lanko vanished completely, leaving behind only the lingering scent of ozone and the heavy silence of the galley. The green dust motes shimmered for a moment longer, then faded into nothingness. The Straw Hats stood in stunned silence, their dreams of future revelations replaced by the raw emotion of a farewell to a child they had known for mere hours, yet loved instantly. They had just sent their future back to where it belonged, knowing that one day, they would indeed meet her again.
The battle had raged on the deck of the Thousand Sunny, but a new, terrifying intensity had fueled the Straw Hats after Lanko’s disappearance. Luffy and Y/N, in particular, fought with a savage fury that chilled even their own crewmates. The pirate who had sent Lanko away, the wielder of the Toki Toki no Mi, found himself the sole focus of the Pirate King’s boundless rage and his Queen’s icy precision.
Now, as the other enemy pirates lay defeated or fled in terror, a gruesome sight awaited the Straw Hats. The deck where the devil fruit user had stood was a bloodied testament to Luffy and Y/N's wrath. The man lay broken, utterly annihilated, his body a pulped mess of limbs and gore. He was headless, a grim testament to the force of Luffy’s final, enraged blow.
Suddenly, a shimmer of familiar green light erupted from the very spot where Lanko had vanished. It coalesced rapidly, and then, in a blink, a small, familiar figure solidified.
“Lanko!” Y/N gasped, her voice raw with relief and a fresh wave of fear.
Luffy, his chest heaving, his face still contorted with a primal rage, saw her. His eyes, seconds ago filled with murderous intent, softened instantly. Without a word, Zoro and Sanji moved in unison, quickly positioning themselves to block Lanko’s view of the gruesome scene.
Y/N rushed forward, scooping the little girl into her arms. Lanko was trembling, wide-eyed, clearly disoriented but unharmed. “Mama! Papa!” she cried, clutching Y/N tightly.
“We’ve got you, sweetheart,” Y/N whispered, her voice thick with emotion, pressing Lanko’s face into her shoulder to shield her from the sight of the pirate’s demise.
Luffy was there in an instant, his large hand gently stroking Lanko’s back. “You’re back,” he murmured, his anger dissipating like mist in the morning sun, replaced by an overwhelming sense of relief.
They quickly ushered Lanko away from the carnage, back towards the comparative safety of the Sunny’s interior, leaving the gruesome aftermath behind. The future was back, and the cost of her brief, terrifying absence was starkly evident on the deck. The Straw Hats knew one thing with absolute certainty: they would never let anything like this happen to her again.

Six Months of Secrets, Five Minutes of Hell
Keeping a relationship secret on the Red Force is hard — especially when your crewmate catches you making out and decides to turn dinner into your personal hell.

The Red Force rocked lazily on the evening tide, the low hum of laughter and clinking mugs filling the warm air. As always, dinner aboard the Red-Haired Pirates was less a meal and more a festival of chaos. Plates clattered, arguments erupted over who cheated at cards, and somewhere in the back, Lucky Roux and Bonk Punch were having a loud, messy food-eating contest that Makino would absolutely kill them for if she were around.
Amidst the noise, you and Shanks sat far apart — as usual. It had always been that way: yelling across the deck, trading jabs and insults like candy. To the crew, you were the ship’s resident cats-and-dogs duo: always ready to bite each other’s heads off, throwing punches (mostly playful, mostly), and causing drama like your lives depended on it.
Which made it the perfect cover.
Because behind closed doors — in stolen moments under the stars, behind barrels, in empty storerooms — you and Shanks weren’t fighting at all. In fact, if Lime Juice hadn't turned the wrong corner half an hour ago and seen his beloved captain pressed against you, hand tangled in your hair while your legs wrapped tight around his hips, he would still be as blissfully oblivious as the rest of them.
Instead, now he sat at dinner looking like a man who had seen the very fabric of reality torn apart.
You caught his eye across the table. He twitched violently and immediately looked away, face burning. Shanks, the bastard, just kept eating, hiding his smug smile behind a mug of sake.
It was going to be a long night.
Earlier That Evening
It wasn’t supposed to happen. You both knew better. But Shanks had looked at you a certain way, had that lazy, half-lidded, I'm about to ruin your life grin — and well, one thing led to another.
You were tucked away in the shadowy corridor near the storage rooms, your back to the wall, Shanks’ mouth trailing hot, open-mouthed kisses along your neck. Your hands fisted the fabric of his shirt, tugging him impossibly closer. His hand splayed along your hip, anchoring you there like he never planned to let go.
"You know," you gasped between kisses, "someone’s gonna catch us one of these days—"
"Let 'em," Shanks muttered into your skin. "I'll kiss you right in front of them."
The taste of him — rum, sea salt, and something recklessly him — made your head spin.
"we're really pushing our luck here." he murmured against your mouth, hands skating under your shirt to press warm palms against your lower back
You kissed him harder in answer, swallowing the grin tugging at his lips. "You’re the one who dragged me back here, Captain."
He hummed, low and pleased, nosing along your jawline before trailing hot, open-mouthed kisses down your throat. His beard scratched deliciously, making you shiver and clutch at his shirt.
"Couldn’t help it," he muttered, voice rough. "You looked too good tonight. Wanted to —" Another kiss, wetter, deeper. "— ruin you a little."
Your laugh dissolved into a gasp when he tugged you flush against him, hands greedy, mouth finding that spot just below your ear that made you tremble.
You twisted your fingers into the front of his open shirt, tugging him even closer, losing yourself in the heat, the hunger, the low rumble of approval he made when you bit his lip—
—and that's exactly when Lime Juice rounded the corner.
You barely had time to flip him off before you heard a yelp — a very familiar yelp — and the clatter of dropped crates.
You and Shanks snapped your heads around in unison.
Lime Juice stood there, frozen like a deer in headlights, mouth opening and closing uselessly like a goldfish. One of the barrels he was carrying had rolled away, leaking pickles everywhere.
"...Oh" he said faintly. "Oh no."
"Yo, Lime," Shanks greeted casually, still holding you scandalously close.
You elbowed Shanks hard in the ribs, making him grunt and finally step back. Lime Juice immediately spun on his heel and sprinted away, arms flailing.
You both stared after him.
"...Think he’ll keep his mouth shut?" you asked.
Shanks grinned, cocky and unbothered. "Depends. Might have to bribe him."
You rolled your eyes. "You're insufferable."
"You love me," he sing-songed.
You did. God help you, you really did.
Dinner — Lime Juice: Menace Unleashed
Dinner was supposed to be your safe zone. Laughs, food, and maybe some semi-violent card games.
Instead, you felt like you were on trial.
Lime Juice sat across from you, sipping soup very pointedly. Too pointedly. He kept darting glances at you and Shanks, grinning into his cup like he knew something the rest didn’t.
You felt sweat trickling down your back.
Shanks was no better. His fake casual air was cracking at the seams — his laughter a little too loud, his drinking a little too fast.
"Oi, [Name]," Lime Juice drawled suddenly.
You stiffened.
"If someone was, say, very... energetic... tonight, would it be because they had a good workout?"
"...Workout?" Yasopp repeated, confused.
You nearly knocked your plate off the table.
"You good?" Yasopp asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I'M FINE," you wheezed.
The crew blinked.
"Yeah," Lime said smoothly. "Like, I dunno. Someone looked... very physically satisfied coming to dinner."
You choked on your drink so violently that Benn Beckman actually looked concerned.
"Oi," Lucky Roux said, frowning, "what are you going on about, Lime?"
"Nothing~," Lime Juice sang innocently. "Just making observations."
Benn Beckman narrowed his eyes. "You’re being weird."
Shanks shot Lime Juice a murderous look. Lime Juice only smiled wider, sweet as poison.
"And you, Captain," Lime said innocently. "You seem... loosened up. Someone helping you relieve that tension?"
You squeezed your eyes shut. He's going to kill us. He's actually going to kill us.
Meanwhile, the others were getting suspicious.
"Something’s weird," Bonk Punch muttered.
"Maybe they're possessed," Hongo said wisely.
Beckman was watching you two now, sharp-eyed. "You’re twitchier than Shanks at a wine-tasting."
"I am NOT twitchy," Shanks snapped way too fast.
You kicked him under the table. He kicked you back.
Even Monster the monkey was looking at you weirdly.
But Lime Juice wasn’t done.
A few minutes later, while you were mid-bite, Lime leaned back and loudly said:
"Captain~ Been... getting lucky lately?"
The clang of Shanks dropping his fork was deafening.
You wanted to sink through the floor.
The table stared at him. Shanks cleared his throat, cheeks darkening.
"Just... lucky at cards," he said weakly.
"Riiiight~" Lime said with an evil wink.
Hongo scratched his head. "Is he drunk already?"
"I don't get it," Bonk Punch muttered. "What's Lime talking about?"
"Maybe he's implying Shanks got laid," Yasopp joked, laughing.
Everyone chuckled.
Except you and Shanks — who went rigid.
Lime Juice just smiled, swinging his legs casually like a cat about to knock over a full glass.
When dessert arrived, Lime Juice decided to finish you off.
"Say, Y/N," he said loudly, as you reached for a slice of pie. "Didn't realize you had a thing for redheads."
You froze, hand hovering mid-air.
The whole table turned toward you like vultures.
"...What?" you croaked.
"Redheads," Lime Juice said innocently. "They're so... passionate, right? Bit clumsy. Lots of scars. Missing limbs, sometimes."
He was describing Shanks down to the last goddamn freckle.
"So, Cap. Hypothetically," he said, voice dripping fake innocence, "if you were secretly dating someone hot and chaotic, who throws knives at you for fun... would you keep it hidden? Or would you, say, be caught making out behind the supply crates?"
Bonk Punch's fork clattered to his plate.
Yasopp’s eyes widened.
Lucky Roux gasped.
"Wait," Benn said slowly, staring at you both. "Wait a damn minute."
"LIME!" you hissed under your breath.
"WAIT," Yasopp said. "ARE YOU SAYING—"
Absolute silence.
Even Monster the monkey dropped his banana.
Shanks groaned into his hands.
You dropped your forehead to the table with a loud thunk.
Then —
Shanks groaned and buried his face in his hands. "Fine. You win. Whatever."
Lime Juice’s grin split his face.
"Wait," Lucky Roux said, slowly connecting the dots. "Are you two actually—"
"YES," Shanks barked.
"FOR SIX MONTHS," you added miserably.
Dead silence.
Then all hell broke loose.
"WHAT THE HELL—"
"HOW?!"
"WHEN?!"
"WHY DIDN'T WE SEE IT?!"
"I THOUGHT THEY HATED EACH OTHER!" Yasopp screamed.
"BECAUSE THEY ACT LIKE THEY WANT TO KILL EACH OTHER!" Bonk Punch yelled.
"That’s called foreplay, Bonk," Lime Juice said helpfully.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Bonk Punch yelled..
Beckman just sighed like a man sixty years too old for this shit and took a long drag of his cigarette. "I'm gonna need another drink. Maybe ten."
The Aftermath
"You threw a chair at him last week!" Hongo yelled at you.
"It was flirting!" you shouted back.
"YOU BROKE A WINDOW!"
"IT WAS A SEXY WINDOW BREAK!"
Shanks just slung an arm lazily over your shoulder, laughing so hard he was hiccupping.
"So what," Shanks slurred, grinning. "You guys are just mad you didn't notice how hot we are together?"
"I'M MAD I HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT!" Yasopp howled.
Monster made gagging noises.
Lime Juice beamed with the pride of a man who had lit the match and dropped it into a fireworks factory.
You thought, maybe after the initial explosion, they’d move on.
You were wrong.
They would not shut up.
"So, Shanks," Yasopp smirked. "Who's on top?"
You hurled a bread roll at his head. He caught it and winked.
"Oh my god, did you guys bang in the crow’s nest?" Bonk Punch gasped.
"Don't answer that," Beckman muttered.
"You’re gonna answer that later, right?" Lucky Roux asked you, waggling his eyebrows.
"I’M LEAVING," you shouted, standing up so fast your chair toppled over.
Shanks caught your wrist, laughing. "Aw, come on, Y/N. You can't leave me alone to suffer."
"You’re the reason we’re suffering!"
"I call it mutual destruction, baby."
You kicked him lightly under the table. He kicked you back. Several of the crew made knowing noises.
Later — Peace (Sort of)
You slumped against the rail later that night, exhausted and mildly traumatized.
Shanks sidled up beside you, bumping his hip into yours.
"You still mad?"
"I’m plotting your death," you muttered.
He slung an arm around you, pulling you in.
"You love me."
"Unfortunately."
Across the deck, Lime Juice cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted: "USE A CONDOM NEXT TIME!"
You flipped him off so hard you nearly dislocated your wrist.
Shanks just roared with laughter, burying his face in your shoulder.
Maybe getting caught wasn't the worst thing after all. Not when you had this.

The ship creaked and groaned with age and travel, a sound that had become a lullaby to those who called the Oro Jackson home. Moonlight poured through the round, salt-speckled window of the ship’s small library, silvering the spines of thick maritime tomes and adventure logs that lined the shelves like ancient guardians of knowledge.
You sat at the far end of the room, curled on a stool with your elbows balanced precariously on the table, chin resting in the hollow of your palm. A book lay open beneath your sleepy eyes, but the words blurred together like waves in a storm. You blinked, fighting the pull of sleep for what must have been the hundredth time that night.
The scent of old paper and salt hung heavy in the air. You shivered slightly, not from cold, but from the exhaustion that crept deeper into your bones with every passing hour. You had stopped counting how many days you’d gone without real rest.
Rayleigh had given both you and Shanks a thick stack of reading as part of your apprenticeship under their wing—navigation theory, sea lore, ship maintenance, historical texts. You didn’t mind the learning; in truth, you craved the structure it gave you. But every time you closed your eyes, the nightmares came creeping in—half memories, half monsters. Faces you couldn’t save. Voices swallowed by the sea.
You were so tired your body hurt.
Footsteps padded softly behind you. Not threatening, but curious. Familiar.
“If you're sleepy, you should sleep. If the captain finds out you're not sleeping, he'll scold you.”
You turned slightly, recognizing the warm, teasing voice instantly.
“I'm not sleepy,” you whispered, even though your voice betrayed you with how hoarse and small it sounded.
You pushed yourself up from the stool, cradling the heavy book like a fragile piece of cargo, and made your way to the shelf to put it back. As you turned around, you nearly stumbled into Shanks.
He was standing right behind you now, closer than you expected, his red hair tousled and sticking out in odd angles. He looked like he’d just rolled out of bed, his shirt half-buttoned and feet bare. There was a softness in his gaze, not the usual joking sparkle you were used to, but something quieter. Something that felt too big for boys your age.
“You didn’t notice me, did you?” Shanks murmured, reaching out without hesitation to brush a few strands of hair from your face. His fingers were warm.
You looked away.
“Do you have nightmares?” he asked gently.
“Yes,” you whispered, not trusting yourself to say more.
He didn’t speak again for a moment, just pulled you into him with a suddenness that didn’t feel rushed or awkward, just… instinctive. His arms wrapped securely around you, pressing your face into his chest. You could hear his heartbeat—steady and calm, like waves lapping against the hull. He smelled like salt and old parchment, and something uniquely him.
“Sleep,” he said softly against the crown of your head. “I’ll stay with you.”
You didn’t mean to, but your knees buckled a little, and before you could hit the floor, Shanks caught you. He scooped you up in his arms with surprising ease. You were light from not eating properly, worn down by sleepless nights. Your arms looped lazily around his neck as your eyes began to flutter shut.
“You’re not supposed to carry me,” you mumbled.
“I’ll tell Rayleigh I was rescuing you from literary drowning,” he teased, though his voice stayed soft, reverent.
He carried you down the corridor with care, the library door swinging quietly shut behind him. The ship’s wood was cool beneath his feet, but he didn’t mind. In the dim glow of the lanterns, he brought you to the shared cabin you and a few others used, but instead of laying you in your bunk, he sat against the wall, still holding you against his chest.
You didn’t stir.
Shanks looked down at you, eyebrows furrowed slightly. He’d noticed the signs—dark circles, the way your hands shook when holding your sword, how you’d drift off during training and then snap awake, eyes wide and frightened.
He hated seeing you like this.
“I get them too, sometimes,” he whispered, not expecting a reply.
But your breathing slowed, deepened.
You were asleep.
He rested his head back against the wood, holding you like glass. He didn’t know what the nightmares were about, but he didn’t need to. All he knew was that if you were with him, he’d make sure nothing hurt you—not dreams, not ghosts, not even the fear of being vulnerable.
The next morning, the sun broke over the horizon, its light spilling through the small round porthole in the corner of the room.
Rayleigh stood in the doorway, blinking down at the sight of the two youngest apprentices curled together like siblings shipwrecked on a safe shore. He said nothing, just gave a faint smile, turned on his heel, and closed the door behind him.
That evening, after the day’s duties and sword drills were over, Shanks sat next to you on the deck, your shoulders brushing as you shared a piece of bread and a flask of juice.
“You drooled on my shirt,” he said, smirking.
“I did not.”
“You did. Right here.” He pointed to a barely-there damp spot. “You owe me laundry duty.”
You rolled your eyes, but you smiled. For the first time in days, your limbs didn’t feel like anchors. You’d slept all the way through the night.
“Thanks, Shanks,” you said quietly, looking out at the sea.
He nudged your knee with his. “Anytime. You can always come find me, okay? Even if it’s the middle of the night.”
You nodded.
“I mean it,” he added. “And if the nightmares come back... I’ll scare them off with a wooden sword and my dazzling grin.”
You laughed. He looked satisfied with that.
That night, just as he was drifting off in his bunk, he heard your light steps by the door. You hovered there, unsure.
He didn’t even open his eyes.
“Come here,” he said simply, lifting the blanket.
You crawled in beside him, neither of you saying anything more. You nestled against his side, and he rested a hand over your shoulder.
In the quiet of the Oro Jackson, with the ocean humming softly below, you both found rest.
Not because the nightmares had disappeared.
But because you weren’t alone.

This MAY be the best thing I’ve ever read
I love shanks so much😭😭
Are you able to write a story where reader is a captain of another crew? Their crew isn’t super famous but aren’t weak either. Their crew is staying at some island and a tavern there when the Red-Haired pirates show up and think that they might try to fight, but reader dgaf and decides to flirt with shanks and stuff. Don’t know if your readers are Gn or female, but could the reader be described as “as beautiful as the ocean” please? I thought that would be cute!
Thank you!
🌊
thats interesting! its not much but hope u like this~~

The tavern on Bellmouth Island had never known peace.
It was tucked into the port side of the island like a cozy scar—weathered, stubborn, and full of bad decisions marinated in rum. But even Bellmouth’s most seasoned barkeep hadn’t seen anything quite like The Siren’s Fang crew.
“Hey, Cap! Tall guy passed out again!” barked Kiji, the squad’s medic, gesturing to a pile of limbs slumped over a barstool.
“Is he breathing this time?” you asked lazily, twirling a glass of rum in your hand. You sat at the tavern’s center table, leg slung over the arm of your chair, adorned in sleek leather and gold-trimmed cloth, eyes half-lidded with amusement.
“Barely,” muttered Azel, your cook-slash-unofficial-grim-reaper, poking the unconscious man with a ladle. “He mistook my hot sauce for syrup. Natural selection.”
“His fault,” you sighed.
You were Captain [Y/N], the woman many whispered about as beautiful as the ocean—mysterious, wild, and just as likely to drown you as smile at you. The Siren’s Fang wasn’t a household name like the Straw Hats or the Emperors, but in the Grand Line’s undercurrent, your reputation had teeth. Rumors swirled of your crew taking down a fleet from Big Mom’s remnants and sinking a marine battleship like it was a toy boat in a bathtub.
Still, fame didn’t interest you. Fun did.
And Bellmouth was fun—cheap booze, rowdy locals, and just enough lawlessness to feel like home.
That was until the door slammed open.
Wind howled through the tavern. Bottles rattled. Even the drunks perked up.
The Red-Haired Pirates had arrived.
You didn’t need to look. You felt it. That magnetic, crackling air of too-powerful people walking into a space too small to contain them.
Shanks led the way, one hand on the hilt of his sword, the other resting on his hip as he scanned the tavern with lazy mirth. His crew spilled in behind him—Benn Beckman, Lucky Roux, Yasopp, the works.
Ten seconds passed. Then—
“Welp. Guess we’re fighting,” muttered Neri, your tactician, flipping her dagger.
“Can’t we go one week without a legendary crew showing up?” grumbled Hyun, your shipwright, who’d just managed to tape a window back together.
“Don't break my chairs,” called the barkeep, already ducking behind the bar.
You, meanwhile, took a sip of rum.
And then, slowly, gracefully, rose to your feet.
"Are we fighting?" asked Benn, eyes narrowing slightly.
Shanks tilted his head in your direction, gaze locking onto yours.
You didn’t draw your sword.
You smiled.
“No,” you said, voice like velvet. “But I do have something else in mind.”
The room collectively blinked.
You strolled toward them with the ease of a queen and the chaos of a siren in full swing. “You must be Red-Haired Shanks,” you purred, eyes scanning him with undisguised appreciation. “You're taller than I expected. That’s... hot.”
A pause.
Then—someone from your crew let out a wheeze of disbelief. Probably Toma. He’d bet two crates of rum you’d deck Shanks on sight.
Shanks arched a brow, lips twitching. “Not the usual greeting I get from a rival pirate captain.”
“I’m not your rival,” you said, stopping only a breath away from him. You craned your head up, voice dropping to a sultry whisper. “Unless you want me to be. Enemies to lovers? That your thing?”
Lucky Roux choked on his drink.
Shanks actually laughed, the rich, boisterous sound of someone genuinely caught off guard.
“Captain,” Benn said dryly, “I think we’re being hit on.”
“DAHAHA I know, right?” Shanks grinned. “This is way more fun than usual.”
Your crew was now in a full-on state of stunned chaos.
“I—she just flirted with a Yonko. Casually. Like she was ordering a drink,” Kiji mumbled.
“She’s going to get us killed,” muttered Neri.
“No,” corrected Hyun, “she’s going to get laid.”
“Pfft—HA!”
Meanwhile, Shanks tilted his head. “So what’s your name, Ocean Eyes?”
You gave him your full title, adding, “Captain of The Siren’s Fang. And yes, I live up to the name.”
“Mm.” He leaned in just slightly. “Should I be worried you’re trying to lure me onto the rocks?”
“I’m trying to lure you onto something, that’s for sure.”
Yasopp nearly fell off his stool.
Benn facepalmed. Lucky Roux laughed so hard he snorted beer through his nose.
“Join us for a drink?” you offered innocently. “Or are you too scared I’ll make you fall in love with me?”
Shanks held your gaze for one beat. Two. Then smiled.
“I’ve done dumber things.”
And just like that, the Red-Haired Pirates sat down with the Siren’s Fang.
Tension left the room like steam off hot rum. Chairs screeched. Drinks clinked. Somewhere, your sniper was trying to discreetly message your ship’s chronicler: CAPTAIN IS FLIRTING WITH SHANKS, SEND HELP.
“...And then the marine tries to arrest me, right? While I’m naked. In the bath!” Shanks crowed, halfway through a bottle of rum, hair falling into his eyes.
“Oh my god,” you gasped, clutching your side. “Please tell me you fought him like that.”
“I slipped! Broke his nose falling out of the tub!”
You and your crew howled.
A few tables down, Benn and Neri were having a quiet intellectual standoff that involved a lot of maps and dry sarcasm. Yasopp and Hyun were arguing over gun specs. Toma was getting arm-wrestled into oblivion by Lucky Roux. It was, in short, a tavern apocalypse.
“You’re fun,” Shanks murmured, voice low, only for you.
You tilted your head. “You expected me to be scary.”
“I expected you to swing first and ask questions never.”
“Ah. That’s just on Wednesdays.”
He chuckled. “You’re dangerous.”
“You like that,” you teased.
“I do,” he admitted. “But be honest. Is this all just to distract me while your crew steals our booze?”
You sipped your drink with a wink. “What do you think?”
From across the room, a yell: “WE’VE TAKEN THE BEER STORAGE!”
“DAMN IT, KOKO!”
Shanks stared.
You said nothing.
He grinned. “Marry me?”
“Buy me a boat first.”
“You already have a ship.”
“Yeah, but I want a red one.”
As the night wore on, chaos bloomed into something almost tender. The two crews, pirates feared across the seas, were now doing karaoke with a broken lute and a guy named Phil.
You leaned against the tavern doorway, watching the madness. The moonlight brushed your skin like seafoam, your hair tousled by the salt-laced wind.
Shanks joined you silently.
“You’re really not what I expected,” he said.
“Disappointed?”
He shook his head. “Enchanted.”
You turned your head to him, eyes soft now. “You’re pretty smooth for a pirate.”
“I’m usually drunker.”
You laughed, then reached up, brushing a lock of hair from his face. “You know, Red, if I weren’t a captain…”
“Yeah?”
“I’d ask you to run away with me.”
He caught your wrist gently, pressing a kiss to your knuckles.
“If I weren’t a Yonko,” he murmured, “I’d say yes.”
For a moment, it felt like the sea held its breath.
Then someone inside yelled, “THE CAPTAIN AND SHANKS ARE MAKING EYES AT EACH OTHER AGAIN!”
“TAKE PICTURES!”
“START THE WEDDING SONG!”
You and Shanks groaned in unison.
“Back to the madness?” he offered.
“Only if you dance with me.”
“Deal.”
And so the two of you dove back into the tavern storm, laughing, flirting, half-dancing, half-sparring with words, like the sea and sky in a constant, chaotic waltz.
No declarations. No promises.
Just two captains in the eye of a storm they both enjoyed far too much.

Taste Like Home
When Luffy catches you getting a little too friendly with another crew, he pulls you aside mid-adventure to reclaim your lips—and remind you exactly who you belong to.

Luffy was not the jealous type. At least, not openly.
He didn’t throw tantrums. He didn’t scowl. He didn’t sulk (okay, maybe a little). But when he missed you, when his chest ached in that weird, warm way it did only when you weren’t close enough—he did act.
It started with a weird silence during breakfast.
You were laughing at something Sanji said while Luffy... just stared at you from across the table, pancake hanging halfway out of his mouth. Big, dark eyes locked onto yours like a hawk, not blinking, not smiling—just watching.
You had to wave a hand in front of his face.
“Yo, Captain Daydream, you good?”
He blinked slowly, tilted his head. “You smell different.”
You raised a brow. “Hygiene. You should try it sometime.”
He didn’t laugh. Just got up and walked around the table, leaning close enough that you had to lean back.
“You’re not wearing my shirt,” he murmured.
The crew froze.
Zoro snorted into his cup. “Are we at that stage now?”
You rolled your eyes. “It was dirty, Lu. I washed it.”
Luffy’s mouth twisted like that was the worst answer imaginable.
.
.
The crew had docked on Coral Cove Island—a little fishing town lined with rainbow-painted docks and salty air. The mission was simple: stock up, unwind, don’t blow up any buildings this time.
You, of course, had wandered off with your own list and ended up running into a friendly crew called the Shellbacks. They were loud, fun, and competitive. Naturally, you’d challenged their swordsman to a spar, beat him in five minutes, and somehow became their new honorary crewmate by the time Luffy arrived.
And Luffy?
He didn’t like that.
He sat on the nearby barrels, arms crossed, hat low over his eyes while you ruffled one of the Shellback’s hair and cheered at their stories.
“Y/N,” he called out flatly.
You turned. “Yeah?”
“Time to go.”
You blinked. “I just got here—”
“We’re leaving.”
Your eyes narrowed. He was already walking away, back tense.
The Shellbacks looked at you with raised brows.
You sighed. “Guess Captain needs his emotional support human.”
.
.
“Okay, what’s up with you?”
You caught up with him halfway down the dock, tugging on his vest until he stopped. His jaw was set, pout forming.
“You were gonna stay with them instead of me.”
“Oh my god,” you groaned. “We were talking.”
“You sparred with their swordsman.”
“And?”
“You laughed like you do with me.”
You paused. That made your brows furrow, a little sting in your heart at how small his voice got.
“Lu... are you—jealous?”
He squinted at you. “I don’t know. I just didn’t like it. You’re my crew. My favorite.”
You softened. Luffy didn’t know the words for most feelings, but he felt them hard. Deep. All-consuming.
“I wasn’t replacing you,” you said gently. “You’re kind of... impossible to replace.”
His eyes flicked to your mouth. “Still not wearing my shirt.”
You snorted. “You’re ridiculous.”
“Mm.”
And then he stepped close—one hand sliding to your waist, another catching your chin.
“Lu?”
“Just wanna check something.”
And he kissed you.
.
.
It started soft. Almost unsure. His lips moved over yours like he was remembering the shape of them. His hand tightened around your waist as his nose brushed your cheek, breath warm and sweet with leftover syrup.
Then you kissed back.
Your hands fisted in his vest, pulling him close, swallowing the low noise that rumbled in his throat. Luffy pushed forward, walking you backward until your back hit a wooden post. His hat tilted with the movement, casting both your faces in shadow. He grinned against your mouth.
“You still taste like me,” he murmured.
You tugged his hair lightly. “That doesn’t even make sense.”
“I missed your flavor.”
You laughed. “You’re such a dork—”
He kissed you again, harder this time.
His tongue swept past your lips without warning, and you gasped—he stole the sound, lips slanting deeper, chest pressing to yours. You melted, caught between the warm wood and your captain’s sun-kissed body.
By the time he pulled back, both of you were breathless.
He licked his lips.
“Still missed it.”
You wheezed. “You’re insatiable.”
Luffy just grinned. “Duh. I’m a pirate shishishi.”
.
.
By the time you got back to the Sunny, your face still felt warm.
Nami raised a brow. “You two disappear and now your mouth’s swollen?”
“Bitten by jealousy,” you mumbled.
Luffy happily dropped down next to her. “I won.”
She blinked. “Won what?”
He wrapped his arm around your waist from behind, pulling you down beside him. “Y/N.”
You squirmed. “I’m not a prize—”
“You’re my prize,” he said, absolutely shameless.
Zoro grunted. “Disgusting.”
Usopp nodded solemnly. “I agree for once.”
Luffy just nuzzled into your neck, lips brushing your ear.
“You’re not allowed to taste like anyone else.”
Your heart stuttered.
“I wasn’t planning on it.”
.
.
You found yourself unable to sleep. The sea was calm, the sky blanketed with stars, and the moonlight pooled silver across the Sunny’s deck.
Luffy found you again. He always did.
You felt his presence before you heard him—warmth against your back, arms curling around your middle.
“I meant it,” he said into your neck.
You leaned back into him. “I know.”
He tilted your chin again, gaze heavy with something almost too intense to name.
“I don’t know how to say it like Sanji or that talking snail you like—”
You chuckled. “It’s called a novel.”
“Whatever. But I do know you’re mine.”
You raised a brow. “Oh, possessive now?”
His grin widened. “SHISHISHI only with you!”
He kissed you again—slower, deeper, hands tracing your hips with the kind of reverence usually reserved for treasure maps. You arched into it, threading your fingers through his hair, gasping softly when he licked into your mouth like he had all the time in the world.
He did. For you.
He was the Pirate King in the making, after all.
And you? You were already the treasure.

just thinking abt relationship dynamics with the op boys <33
EVERYONE IS 18+ (minors dni)
a/n: currently have one piece brain rot and it is consuming me so here’s this! fem!reader and very suggestive + mentions sex, but no actual smut. NOT PROOFREAD 🙏🏻
don’t forget to like, reblog, comment, and follow to support my work! it always makes me day mwah
“of course i’m serious”
luffy:
in usual luffy fashion, one of your very first interactions ends with him trying to convince you to join his pirate crew
at first you’re hesitant, rightfully so, having just met the guy
however, you’re quickly persuaded by his happy-go-lucky personality and loyalty to his crew
after finally joining the crew yourself, your relationship with luffy gradually melts from just being friendly crew mates to being so close that you would put your life on the line for him at a moment’s notice
he seems to have that effect on people
while you grow close with all of the strawhats, your relationship with luffy is different
within a few months you already feel like you’ve known him your entire life
the two of you never have a dull moment together
while you love to entertain his antics, you also know when to stay level headed and keep him grounded
and while your work ethic is always valued on the ship, luffy can always get you to relax and have a good laugh when you need a break
eventually the two of you start to literally finish each other’s sentences, and it freaks everyone else out every time
you balance each other out perfectly
the two of you can talk and laugh for hours and not get tired of each other’s company
definitely tries to teach you a little portuguese but does not have the patience
you guys have friendship bracelets and he never takes his off
over the years, your relationship begins to grow from best friends to something more
you notice the shift far before luffy does
luffy picks up on little changes, like the weird tingly feeling he gets in his stomach when he makes you laugh
he doesn’t really think much of it though and brushes it off
probably assumes he’s just hungry…
in fact, luffy probably doesn’t really comprehend his feelings until someone spells it out for him, but in his head it doesn’t really change anything
you’ve always been his go to, and that won’t change now
the shift from platonic to romantic is gradual, natural, and if you ask robin, entirely inevitable
(she predicted this from the very beginning when the crew met you in your hometown)
he’s confident and honest with you in sharing the way he feels once he comes to the realization, and you allow him the same courtesy
he doesn’t feel any reason to hide or be embarrassed about his feelings
to him, being your boyfriend just means being your best friend except better because you get to hold hands and kiss and stuff
nothing is awkward when you start dating
it just feels right
he’s always been a very touchy person, even before you started dating
now that you’re together though, he loves cuddling
sleeping just isn’t as comfy anymore if he isn’t laying on you
definitely bites you sometimes and he says it’s because you’re so awesome that he doesn’t know what else to do with himself
he holds your hand all the time and likes to swing them back and forth when you walk together
he also likes to carry you on his shoulders because it makes you laugh
he doesn’t really use pet names for you often, if at all, but he really likes it when you use them for him
will, however, give you absolutely ridiculous nicknames that he finds cute
he has obviously never had a girlfriend before you
he wasn’t really concerned with romance or sex at all actually until you
you definitely have to teach him a lot
like what you’d like to do on dates
and how to kiss
luffy didn’t really understand the appeal of kissing, but you seemed to want to do it so he figured he’d give it a try
after kissing you for the first time he can’t get enough
definitely understands now
a super messy kisser (ofc)
gets giddy when you smile or laugh into his kisses
he smiles into your kisses a lot himself because he’s just so happy to be with you
you also have to teach him about the concept of pda and public etiquette, because otherwise he just does not care and will literally start making out with you in front of the entire crew simply because he wants to kiss you
sex is of course also very new to luffy, and like kissing, he does not understand the appeal until you test the waters with him and his mind is blown
he didn’t realize it would be so fun
it’s almost always sloppy, but he’s very attentive to your requests and desires
he takes in everything you teach him and improves upon it, because he loves making you happy more than anything
kind of a little shit sometimes though because he definitely overstimulates you without even realizing it
never intentionally mean though, but can be a huge tease entirely by accident
loves giving you pretty things he finds like rocks, shells, and any cool trinkets he finds laying around
he just gets so excited to share everything with you, and you’re always the first person he wants to talk to about everything
even if it seems as simple as finding a cool rock
other than sprinkling in more couple-y things, your relationship dynamic really does remain the same as it had always been, best friends
the two of you never take life too seriously, and just allow yourselves to enjoy each other’s company
luffy may not be the most “romantic” boyfriend in a traditional sense, but he will do absolutely anything to see you happy and safe, and you the same for him
he doesn’t need to do any grand gestures to give you butterflies in your stomach
you are each other’s safe space
the two of you said the L word to each other well before you became a couple, but the first time he says it romantically is when you personally cook a three course meal and bake him his favorite sweets to celebrate his birthday
saying those words to each other feels so natural that you almost don’t realize you hadn’t been saying it this whole time until now
will willingly share his food with you if you ask, which is genuinely mind blowing to everyone including yourself
if he proposes to you it will be super out of the blue and unplanned, completely catching you off guard
the two of you could just be talking, having a normal conversation, maybe getting some work done around the ship, when all of a sudden he’s just like
“hey, do you wanna get married?”
probably heard sanji talking about weddings or something and was like, oh! we’re in love, we should get married too!
obviously you can’t legally get married being pirates trying to slip under marine radar, so luffy has franky make you both simple rings out of pieces of sea glass you picked out
the rings have each other’s initials engraved into them
after that, the two of you consider yourselves married and the rest of the crew follows suit
not much changes in your relationship other than your titles
he’ll proudly tell people you’re his wife if you do something cool in a fight or someone asks about you or something
but even without a proposal or a ring, the two of you were always going to be forever
zoro:
when you first meet zoro, you see him as cocky, brazen, and extremely annoying
the two of you clash almost immediately
after luffy somehow manages to convince you to join the crew, the close proximity only makes it worse
the two of you are constantly at each other’s throats, taking any opportunity to push each other’s buttons
nami often jokes that “the two of you bicker like an old married couple”, which does not go over well with either of you
for months the two of you are rivals, making everything a competition to see who’s better than the other
however, after a while you begin to see zoro’s true colors through the cracks
his dedication to his craft, the respect he has for luffy, the kindness he tries to mask beneath a hardened exterior, and his absolute undying loyalty
it makes you begin to wonder why you began to dislike him in the first place
over time, your bickering becomes less venomous and more playful, bantering back and forth for the fun of it
you pick up new habits like sparring with zoro every day, telling him it’s because “the only way to beat your rival is to know his weaknesses”
or zoro waking you up at the crack of dawn to do laps around the deck because he heard you say you weren’t a morning person once, except he brings you coffee exactly the way you like it, every time
eventually your relationship snowballs into friendship
the two of you still bicker and banter, butting heads every once in a while
but now you also laugh at each other’s jokes
and sit together in comfortable silence just to be in each other’s presence
and eventually, you get to the point where the two of you can share your deepest, darkest secrets, fears, and desires, that nobody else is allowed to hear
he makes you feel safe, and you know you are with him
without even realizing it, your relationship starts sinking into something much deeper than friendship
whenever you’re off the ship, zoro is almost always at your side, practically attached to you, making sure you’re never in harms way
the two of you can basically read each other’s minds, seemingly able to communicate without a single word shared between you
neither of you are even conscious of your feelings for one another until nami catches the two of you sound asleep on the desk with your head resting in zoro’s lap and runs to tell usopp
when you do begin to realize how you feel, neither of you bring it up, too afraid to ruin what you already have
but you don’t need to
your bodies and minds are practically interlinked, bending at each other’s will
your relationship stays mostly the same, only gradually and organically becoming closer
running errands together on new islands, napping together more often than you do apart, sitting next to each other during meals, etc
eventually your mutual feelings become almost unbearable, and you finally cross the line between friends and lovers
you would probably have to be the one to make the first move, because not only is zoro insanely stubborm, but he’s also uncharacteristically easily flustered
your first kiss feels like pieces clicking into place, or feeling the warmth of the sun in the dead of winter
as cheesy as it sounds, it feels like home
there’s no conversation about feelings, or asking you to be his girlfriend, you just are
like all the seasons of your relationship, the shift is slow, and goes unnoticed for a while by most of your crew mates
robin, nami, and usopp are the first to notice, seeing you fall asleep against his chest instead of his lap, or seeing you whispering secret conversations up in the crows nest when you think the others are asleep
eventually everyone is made aware of your relationship when you challenge zoro to a drinking game at a party, ending with you getting drunk off your ass and kissing him before immediately passing out against his shoulder
zoro is not a fan of pda, so for the most part, your relationship remains the same around the crew and on islands
still bickering and making up stupid competitions to challenge yourselves, but now theres a softer, more intimate side to your relationship
he will occasionally do passive agressieve little things to rub your relationship in sanji’s face though if he’s flirting with you too much for his liking
like whispering something dirty in your ear to make you get all flustered, or wrapping his arm around your waist to guide you into the dining room
he partly does it to get a rise out of sanji, sure, but mostly because he loves the reaction it gets out of you
the bond you share is clearly special, and thats something that everyone can see
however, your relationship is much different when you’re alone
it’s much more domestic
quieter
you know each other like the back of your hands at this point, so sometimes theres no need for words
the silence is soothing
other times, the two of you can talk for hours
he’ll gladly listen to you ramble on about anything and everything thats on your mind if you want to
and he’ll hang onto every word
he’s also a bit more touchy and vocal in private
he’ll massage your sore muscles after a particularly tough sparring session
or rub his thumb across your hip where he holds you against his chest, mumbling compliments into your hair
he’s another man who never really thought about relationships until you came along, so he’s quite inexperienced in a lot of areas
he picks up quickly and adapts, following the signals that your body sends him and adjusting accordingly
sex with him is either extremely intimate and gentle, or he’s being a total pain in the ass and teasing the shit out of you
either way, he’s hyper aware of your every move and action
his main objective is always to please you, because he quite literally would do anything for you
in his eyes you deserve the world handed to you on a silver platter, and he wants to be the one holding the plate
neither of you need to hear the words to know that you love each other irrevocably
you can see it in every move that he makes, and he can hear it in the beating of your heart
when the words are shared it’s in the hushed privacy that only you will ever share, or after a particularly life threatening battle
zoro knows that he’s yours forever like he knows he needs oxygen to breathe, but he’s also not a sappy romantic like the cook
he would bring up the idea of marriage in casual conversation to see where your head is at
the two of you have extremely healthy communication, always 100% honest with each other
if you don’t like the idea of marriage he would drop the subject and never bring it up again, content to just be with you
but if you do like the idea of getting married, he would propose right then (very informally)
“why don’t we get married then?”
“are you serious?”
“of course i’m serious. let’s get married.”
the two of you would pick out simple wedding bands on the next island you docked at, stealing away for the day to allow yourselves to bask in your new beginning
the rest of the crew would also totally freak out at dinner when they see the sparkling new jewelry adorning your fingers
sanji:
as we all know, sanji is a lover of women
he’s also a hopeless romantic
from the moment you join the crew, he’s completely head over heels
he thinks you are absolutely the most stunning woman he’s ever laid eyes on in his life
while he dotes on you, you don’t really pay him any mind at all at first
you see the way he treats other women, and you know he’s simply a flirt by nature, so why would it be any different when it’s aimed towards you?
and it first, it’s really not that much different
he just finds you mesmerizing, but it’s nothing more than an infatuation
but as some time goes by and he and the rest of crew get to know you, it turns into something more
you become friends first, quickly forming a strong bond
you keep him company while he cooks, allowing him to teach you different techniques and recipes
you listen to him talk about his dreams, and he returns the favor, judgement free
sanji quickly realizes he’s fallen for you
like for real
the feeling scares him at first, never having felt so many intense emotions about one person before
but the fear is quickly overcome by determination to devote himself to you in every way
he takes care of your every need, defends your honor when necessary, and is always there for you when you need a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on
you don’t catch onto your feelings until months after sanji pinpointed his, long after you had already plummeted far away from feelings that could be considered platonic
you make the first move, and neither of you hesitate to leap right into it
he set’s up dates for the two of you frequently
compliments you up and down, every word sincere
he gets super flustered and giddy when you compliment his cooking
never forgets an anniversary, valentines day, or your birthday, and always goes all out to make sure it’s extra special for you
sanji isn’t inexperienced per-se, but he also hasn’t been with many women
however, he has a talent for this sort of thing, and his movements are smooth and fluid, never unsure
he kisses you like a man starved, gentle at first, quickly becoming more passionate and hungry because you’re absolutely irresistible
he’s handles you the same way in the bedroom
gentle and passionate
sanji always finds a way to make sex super romantic
he likes to hold your hand, and give you kisses, and tell you how much he loves you
he has a CD burned with a bunch of super sweet love songs, and it doubles as a slow dance playlist and a sex playlist
after you become official, it’s no secret to the crew
sanji is practically shouting it from the rooftops
he’s even more over the top than before, waiting on you hand and foot
loves holding you, and intertwining your fingers when the two of you go looking for ingredients on whatever island you’re docked at
loves hugs and cuddles obviously
always holds doors open for you, pulls out your chair, offers you his coat, and kisses your hand like a proper gentleman
also uses so many pet names for you that you can’t even keep track of them all
still a massive flirt even though you’re already his, and reaffirm that truth every single day
your relationship is very flirty in general
he can dish it out way better than he can take it
he gets flustered sooooo easily when you give him a taste of his own medicine
even though he’s quite eccentric in the way he loves you, he can also be really soft when the moment’s right
the two of you can giggle about stupid hypotheticals one second and be having a deep philosophical conversation the next
sanji tells you he loves you for the first time within like the first 3 weeks of you dating
and he means it 100% too
he absolutely worships you and thinks he must have been a saint in a past life to be able to deserve you reciprocating his feelings
sanji’s known since the very beginning that he was going to marry you some day
as romantic as he is, he cooks you a wonderful meal, just for the two of you
he lights up the place with dozens of candles and rose petals scattered everywhere
and by some miracle he summons the will power to get through dinner with you, before finally beginning his long speech, pouring out all of his love for you like poetry
he kneels on one knee before you, and the ring is barley slipped onto your finger before he has your back pressed against the kitchen counter
oops!
the two of you throw a little ceremony with the crew on the next island you dock at, with vows and a dress and everything
sanji refused to let you settle for anything less than perfect, because you deserved to have a real wedding
his vows are gut wrenchingly gorgeous btw
cries when he sees you walking down the aisle
he makes sure to call you “my wife” as much as humanly possible, and kisses your ring all the time
usopp:
you and usopp became friends pretty much the second you joined the crew
you both have such a similar sense of humor, and you love listening to his ridiculous stories
he lovessss gossiping with you and it’s your favorite pastime
and of course you help him craft his weapons
the two of you are basically inseperable
you do absolutely everything together
you help each other get through your day to day tasks, talking and joking your way through them
you watch him practice his aim and cheer him on
you like laying down together and looking at the shapes the clouds make
you sit next to each other at meals most of the time so that you can gossip with your eyes
but sometimes if you sit across from each other you have staring contests
you don’t know when or how it happened, but somewhere over the years you and usopp fell desperately in love with each other
everyone knows how you feel for each other, hell even you know how usopp feels about you, but he’s completely oblivious to it all
the only reason you haven’t made a move yet is because nami made a bet with you to see how long it takes him to fess up, and neither of you are allowed to “interfere”
he finally confesses to you one night after a long celebration for another strawhat victory
you always make fun of him for being such a lightweight, but tonight it really shows
completely wasted after only two shots, he finally professes his love for you
nami won the bet, but you honestly couldn’t care less
the next day he’s probably super embarrassed, but once you tell him you feel the same way he’s SO relieved
he gets flustered so easily it’s a little humorous
you barely even have to do anything to make him a blushing stuttering mess
most of the time you do it by accident
he has a staring problem because everything you do is so mesmerizing to him
you take your relationship fairly slow
he gets insanely flustered every time you hold his hand
he LOVES cuddling but he has to hide his face against you because he gets so dazed just by being so close to you
the first time you kissed him he almost passed out
he cannot believe you actually want to be with him
once he’s more comfortable with the concept that you really do want him as much as he wants you, he kisses you all the time
your cheeks, your nose, your forehead, your knuckles, and most importantly, your lips
his kisses are gentle and cautious at first, growing more confident the longer you’re together, but still always soft
the crew thinks you’re the cutest couple ever, sometimes disgustingly so
usopp is extremely inexperienced, despite the stories he tells that suggest otherwise, so you make sure to let him set the pace
when he’s ready to take the relationship a step further, he’s a bit clumsy at first, but eager to learn
talks a big game, but when it comes down to it he always “lets you” take the lead
loves bragging about you and telling people that you’re his girlfriend
he’s just so proud to be with you
literally thinks you’re the coolest person ever
you guys are still best friends even though you’re also so much more than that
you still gossip, and do your work together, and make ridiculous jokes, and are there for each other no matter what
if marriage is something you want, you would have to hint at it heavy
because he is not going to come up with the idea to propose otherwise
not because he doesn’t want to marry you, but simply because he’s never even thought about marriage like that before
it take him weeks to work up the courage to finally propose, but he would do it all “the right way” because you deserve a real proposal
takes you out on the deck to watch the sunset and then he’s down on one knee with a ring box in hand
gets teary eyed asking you to marry him, and cries happy tears with you when you say yes
you would have a simple ceremony on the ship, just vows, rings, and a kiss, and just like that, you’re husband and wife
chopper would 100% be the ring bearer and nami would be the flower girl
brags about you, and makes sure to include you in all of his stories
no matter how long you guys have been together, his wild imagination never gets old
law:
you were on the brink of death when law found you, taking you onto the polar tang to perform a life saving operation
you could barely remember what even caused the injuries in the first place by the time you woke up, but you had never been more grateful in your entire life
you owed you’re life to him
so you insisted on joining his crew, promising to repay him for saving your life, even though he assured you it wasn’t necessary
you stayed anyways of course
your relationship started out strictly professional
he was the captain, and you were the crewmate
you were friendly with each other of course, but that was the extent of it
over time, you grew closer
you started getting tasked with him with his personal tasks while he worked, allowing the two of you to spend a lot of time in each other’s company
eventually your simple conversations became staying for hours after all the work had been completed just so that you could continue talking
you bonded over similar interests and shared knowledge, realizing you had more in common than you initially thought
after that the years seemed to fly by, blossoming friendship getting stronger until you could practically read each other’s thoughts, and then one day it all became much bigger than either of you had anticipated
you have both somehow managed to fall in love with each other, and neither of you dared to speak a word of it to anyone, even yourselves
you’re too scared of being rejected and humiliated, and law is absolutely terrified of being in love at all
he has absolutely no idea how to handle his feelings, so instead he bottles them up and stores them away in the hopes that they’ll just vanish
they don’t vanish
instead they get bigger and bigger, until it’s all consuming and he can’t think of a single thing that is not you
meanwhile, you’re trying desperately to suppress your own feeling and failing miserably
the two of dance around each other, tension so thick it radiated to everyone else on the crew
you’re interactions become shorter, both of you unable to be in the presence of the other for too long before you felt like you were going to say something stupid
eventually it all reaches a peak, and while working in his office one night he can’t fight his impulses, so before he can overthink it he finally just kisses you
his kiss is heated and filled with a million emotions he doesn’t know how to express with words
your relationship remains the same outside of your shared privacy, so most of the crew doesn’t even know you guys are together for months
if anyone does pick up on it, it’s because both of you are in considerably better moods for weeks after your first kiss
he lets you paint his nails and do his eyeliner
gets really affectionate when he’s tired
he isn’t the best communicator, but you’re patient and he tries his best
law is somewhat experienced, only having been with a few women in the past, but it’s enough for him to know what he’s doing
he has no problem taking the reigns, and easily slips any semblance of control right out of your grasp
sex is either super soft and romantic or he’s really mean, depends on his mood
loves having his hands all over you whenever he can
also gets really cocky and his smile when he’s like that is deadly
doesn’t say it often, but makes sure to show you every day how much he absolutely adores you
he’s so in love with you it drives him a little crazy sometimes, but he doesn’t say that
instead he saves his smiles only for you, kisses every inch of your skin, and holds you impossibly close to him while he whispers sweet praises and confessions in your ear
when law does say “i love you”, he makes sure you know how much he means it
he cherishes your late night conversations, whispered beneath the sheets
while the crew does know of your relationship now, you still don’t really act like a couple at all in front of anyone else aside from very subtle things
you always make law coffee in the morning and he thanks you for it with a kiss to the cheek before getting breakfast
and he whispers things to you all the time, just wanting to share things with you even if he may not want to share them with the rest of the crew
your relationahip changes slightly you become his wife
he never really liked the idea of marriage, but with you, he’s open to anything that would make you happy
if you want to get married, that’s what will happen
the rings would be extremely simple, but engraved with something incredibly sweet to remind you of how much he loves you, even if he isn’t able to tell you so as often as he thinks he should
there wouldn’t be any ceremony, just the rings, but it’s enough for you
after that he’d be a bit more affectionate with you in front of the crew, the occasional peck, and domestic touches
it’s usually subconscious and goes unnoticed unless someone points it out
he can’t help himself, you’re his wife, and he’s surprised by how much he loves the new title on you
ace:
very flirty with you from the very beginning
compliments you all the time
thinks you’re the hottest person in the world and is very vocal about it
the two of you literally just flirt with each other like 24/7 but still say “we’re just friends”
pisses everyone else off
you know ace has a history with women, so you figured it was safe to assume that you simply followed that pattern
so the two of you go on like that for months, so obviously crazy about each other that it quickly becomes annoying to everyone around you
the solution? set you up, obviously
some of your crew mates make it their mission to finally get you two together
setting up romantic settings where the two of you just happen to be alone
pairing you up on chores and tasks
they may or may not lock the two of you together in a closet for like an hour
it only takes a few weeks to finally get you to crack
ace is a cocky bastard about it, but also literally bouncing off the walls because he’s wanted you for forever
he fell first, you fell harder type shit
huge dork
can be pretty childish sometimes, but in an endearing way
but he does know how to read the room and take things seriously when necessary
never fails to make you feel better if you’ve had a rough day
loves seeing you in his clothes !!!!
literally the biggest flirt and tease ever, no matter how long you’ve been together
very touchy and just wants to be close to you
despite the fiery passion woven through his personality, he kisses you like he has all the time in the world
extremely good kisser, and enjoys pulling away to watch you chase his lips and try to catch your breath wayyyyy too much
50% slutty and 50% the most romantic man on the planet
he’ll literally be making the most obscene noises in your ear and then say something so butterfly inducing and poetic that you feel like you could cry
very experienced, and it shows in everything he does
he knows exactly how to read what you need, and just what to do to have you a complete mess by the time he’s done with you
slutty waist 🗣️🗣️
king of the knee thing
loves when you give him hickeys too so he can show off that he’s yours
also pretty open about pda
he doesn’t like make out with you in the middle of a bar or anything, but he definitely does not shy away from showing you love just because there are people around either
your relationship is surprisingly mature, and you have really good communication
definitely would carry you on his back, shoulders, bridal style, or just pick you up and spin you around cause it makes you smile
if he proposes it would be planned, but not necessarily traditional or formal
he’d plan some sort of fun activity for the day, like a picnic or something, and then you turn around and he’s kneeling on the ground in front of you
would pick the PRETTIEST ring
he’d also be smiling like crazy through the entire proposal cause he wants to marry you right this second
as soon as the ring is on your finger he’s already making stupid jokes that have you rolling your eyes
would “elope” (unofficially) on an island and then see how long it takes for everyone to notice
possibly making a bet to see who catches on first
once the rest of the crew knows, he takes everyyyy opportunity to call you his wife or by his last name, and giggles like a kid every single time
asks are open!

SABO
The attraction had been there from the second you joined the Revolutionaries. When Sabo heard your name spill from Dragon’s lips at your introduction, he swore it was a name he'd never forget. From then he’d found himself falling a little more and more under your charm and in need to just savour a little more of the attention you turned his way. Had he been slightly selfish at times and organised things so that you and he would work the same mission? Yes. Had he thought he was being subtle? Also yes. So imagine his surprise one mission when you’d playfully asked “Are you just trying to keep me to yourself Chief?” To that he had admitted the answer was yes.
He had also tried to apologise to you for his behaviour, his confession of his attraction towards you but you’d silenced him with a kiss to let him know you’d felt the same way about him. From that mission the two of you had fallen headlong into a relationship but for now you were both determined to keep it a secret. Partly because it made things a little more fun, it made your relationship just yours, no-one else needed to be told just yet. There was also the worry of how it would look. The Chief of staff with a subordinate could sound wrong with the right tone. In your case you also worried if people would assume you were just using Sabo, sleeping with him to be given better missions. So for now you both enjoyed your secret.
You woke slowly one morning and yawned, stretching out only to smile sleepily when Sabo groaned in your ear. After all this time he should have been used to the routine by now. On the nights you managed to sneak to his room undetected you had to wake earlier that usual to sneak back to your quarters but with each passing morning, Sabo seemed to get increasingly reluctant to let you go. Lightly you tapped his arm and pushed yourself to sit up in the bed only to grunt when Sabo forced his weight against you, trapping you on the mattress. With a smile you flicked his forehead and reminded him. “Chief, I gotta get to my own room.”
“Noooo.” Sabo stretched out his protest like a child and you grinned, meeting his stare softly while waiting for him to finally let you go. Your amusement only grew when he pouted. “At least give me a kiss before you go.” You were only too happy to comply but just before your lips could touch a loud knock sounded at Sabo’s door and a Revolutionary called for Sabo with strict instruction that Dragon urgently needed him. Unable to ignore that, Sabo hurriedly got out of bed and dressed to report to Dragon while you managed to sneak back to your quarters to ready yourself for the day without anyone noticing.
Throughout the day you felt Sabo’s stare on you, even when you glanced over your shoulder and saw him talking with someone else you knew what you felt. Then when you were walking down the corridors to head to a meeting you were shocked to be pulled sharply into the closest room, your back pressed against the door as Sabo’s lips claimed yours desperately, pulling you headlong into the feeling and responding with equal fervour. You hadn’t had a kiss like it before. Finally you caught your breath when Sabo finally pulled away just enough to lay his head against yours. “That was for the kiss I didn’t get this morning.” He explained. “Felt like I was going to go crazy if I had to wait any longer.”
“If we stay in here any longer someone’s going to find us…” You warned lightly, reaching up to thread your fingers in his hair at the nape of his neck but neither of you were in a rush to move.
“Maybe I want someone to find out.” Sabo murmured, his eyes set firmly on your lips. "This morning I didn’t want you to sneak away. I wanted you to sit with me at breakfast. Even just to hold your hand in a meeting…”
You couldn’t deny that it all sounded so much better than the constant hiding and distancing yourself from the one person you had the strongest connection to. Smiling you took Sabo’s hand and held it tightly, gently jerking your head at a silent sign to leave the room. If you were both going to stop being a secret, you may as well do it right and arrive late to a meeting together hand in hand.
ACE
“Ace?” Silence. “Ace?” Your voice lilted up a little more, calling out in the hopes it would bring a response. With a heavy sigh you strained your neck over the railing of the crow’s nest to see the crew bustling about and talking amongst themselves. Unable to stretch anymore you slumped back against the wall and let out a huff, scowling down at the man lying awkwardly across your lap. You’d both been in the middle of discussing the second division’s tasks when the Moby Dick docked at the next island when Ace was hit with his narcolepsy and he all but collapsed on top of you. You had been lucky to catch Ace just enough to avoid the two of your toppling over the raining of the crow’s nest but now you were stuck sitting on the floor while waiting for Ace to wake. At least it was a good day, this would have been harder to deal with if it was pouring with rain.
Absently you began to think about your relationship with Ace. Admittedly things had started very roughly between the two of you. When you were first part of Whitebeard’s crew, you had initially been told you’d be part of Ace’s division but at that, Ace clumsily blurted out that he didn’t want you. That had stung and you took it to heart, wondering angrily what he had against you when he didn’t even know you. Still his words had been enough to make it so you were placed under another division. From that day and for the first few months of your recruitment you had a fierce dislike of Ace while also wanting to prove yourself to him, to prove him wrong for not wanting you. The truth of the matter was that when Ace saw you for the first time he was smitten, his attraction immediate so when he was shocked by the decision he’d be your commander he reacted badly. He’d been too busy fantasising about asking you out and the thought of being your commander while dating was against some sort of rule so without thinking he’d said he didn’t want you. Unfortunately the damage had been done and you’d wanted nothing to do with him after that.
He only finally got to clear the air with you one night at a bar. Ace had tried to stop you from getting into a fist fight with a different pirate and had to carry you away. Angrily you’d shoved at Ace and demanded to know what his issue with you had been. Unable to hold back Ace had confessed his feelings and at first you’d thought it was a joke but then you’d seen how serious he was. After that you’d slowly come around to him, realising that a lot of your frustration with him had also come from a place of attraction and unintentional rejection. The two of you began your romance with each other but had decided to keep it a secret from the crew, letting yourselves have fun in playing like you still had issues with each other. Finally you felt Ace stir and you glanced down at him, forcing yourself to glower at him. “I had shit to do y’know and none of it involved being your pillow…”
“Well isn’t that too bad for you.” Ace retorted gruffly, his dark eyes betraying his playfulness. You rolled your eyes at him and shoved the rim of his hat further down so you hid yourself from his view. Ace grinned, a new idea sparking in his mind. Quickly he swatted your hand away, readjusted his hat, and grabbed a hold of your waist and pulled you away from the wall so you were lying on the crow’s nest floor. The abruptness of it caused you to shriek out in surprise which caught the attention of Marco. The both of you tensed at the sound of his blue flamed wings lazily cutting through the air. By the time he landed on the railing and looked down at you both, Ace had already flopped down, his head against your chest. Marco chuckled at the sight. “What’s up with your two-yoi?”
“He fell asleep on me again when I was lecturing him for the first time.” You managed out to the first division commander who laughed. Instead of even offering to help, Marco left you to your fate. In his head he believed he was doing you a favour, thinking this might be something that bring you and Ace closer instead of at odds over a misunderstanding. Little did he know this was exactly what Ace had wanted. When Marco was back on deck, you felt Ace grin against you. “You can’t lie on top of me forever…”
“But you’re so comfy…”Ace lifted his head enough to smirk at you. “My favourite sleeping place.”
“Only until the novelty wears off and you find a new pillow.” You joked but paused when Ace’s smile dropped slightly, worry taking over his expression. Did you think he was only with you for the excitement of it being a secret? Were you worried he would look at someone else the way he looked at you? Did you still think about his clumsy declaration that he didn’t want you in his division and believe that he didn’t want you? No, he couldn’t take that chance. Pushing up just enough Ace kissed you firmly and deeply, desperate to pour every ounce of his feelings for you into the kiss, to tell you how much he wanted you. Only you. Relief took over him when you returned the kiss and pulled back to smile at him in the way that always made his heart skip a beat. “You’re meant to be sleeping remember?”
Ace smiled when you lightly pressed a quick kiss on the tip of his nose and lay back, your eyes closing as your body relaxed. Since you lied about Ace falling asleep again, you both may as well make the most of the situation.

S/O using Luffy or Ace or Sabo like a post. Just leaning against them at random times or shoulder bumping them. Affectionate cat headbumps.
Ahh this is so cute and so them! Keeping these and quick snippet/headcanons. This is all typed on my phone so excuse any spelling mistakes ❤️
Ace
🔥The first time it happens it’s not long into your relationship becoming a romantic one. He’s standing talking to Marco when you suddenly flop against him, expecting him to keep standing tall and support you slumped form.
🔥 He wasn’t expecting it and tumbled sideways, knocking into Marco who was the only reason the two of you didn’t fall face first onto the deck.
🔥You were too tired to notice and remained pressed up and leaning against Ace, lightly nuzzling your head against his shoulder while he tried to recover from the unexpected shock and stay nonchalant about the whole thing. He’s an affectionate person naturally but the fact you’re both a couple makes the casual embrace seem more intimate than just a simple hug.
🔥 After that first occurrence it becomes your and Ace’s ‘thing’, randomly throughout the day when you both need a little moment to recharge you will seek each other out, regardless of what the other is doing and slump against the other and affectionately bump your head against them.
Sabo
🎩 It happens randomly. You were out on a mission, not the high adrenaline, fighting battles or the undercover and infiltration jobs. You were both stationed on a random island and told to just watch the target and observe newer recruits to the Revolutionary Army. Babysitting on top of observation= boring.
🎩 So you both did the only thing you could do, whatever popped into your head to starve off the boredom. At first you lightly tapped your foot against Sabo’s while looking ahead and having the face of composed innocence. When he looked away from you, you did it again. This time Sabo responded by doing the same.
🎩 The game continued and progressed from your feet to tapping the back of your hand against his, then lightly nudging his side with your elbow until you ended up bumping his shoulder with yours. Every time Sabo answered with the same gesture and continued to be something you both did both off base and on.
🎩 The only time that it’s not allowed now is when you’re in a meeting and Dragon is present. Because the last time the two of you engaged in this game, a Revolutionary Army member called Sabo to ask him a question, catching his attention.
🎩 Sabo turned without thinking just as you tried to bump his shoulder with your own and with him no longer there to meet the soft impact you fell off your seat and clumsily over Sabo’s lap for everyone to see
Luffy
🍖 Luffy loves when you do this with him. He loves physical, affectionate touches even when the two of you are just Captain and crew mate. He’s the one to unintentionally start it.
🍖 You’d been out on a new island to explore with the crew split into groups. On your travels through some ruins, you found an old map. Excited about finding treasure and secrets Luffy leaned against you, stretching to look over your shoulder to look even though his map reading skills weren’t the best.
🍖 To get your Captains head out of the way you leaned against him and of course his rubber body stretched to the extreme so you were the one slouching over him. Immediately Luffy found this to be the more entertaining part of the day and on your walk to find Nami the two of you continued to lean against the other as you walked.
🍖 Since then and long before anything even turned romantic, you’d always instinctively lean and press your side against Luffy, so much so that when he isn’t lounging on Sunny’s head he’s standing and ready for you to step up beside him and press as close as you can beside him. The only difference now is that he stays standing upright and leans his head to rest his cheek against you so you can both support each other and enjoy each others warmth

before you (Straw Hats + Ace, Law)
featuring - Zoro x F!Reader, Ace x F!Reader, Law x F!Reader, Luffy x F!Reader, Sanji x F!Reader, Usopp x F!Reader
summary - they find out you had a crush on someone else on the crew/someone they know before them
warnings - none
a/n - one energy drink later, i have three posts out...oh well, i'm not complaining
ZORO
Honestly, he didn't even care.
Until he learned who it was, that is.
"You had a crush on WHO?!" Is what the rest of the crew woke up to one day. You tried your best to hush him, saying that everyone's sleeping, but he was having a meltdown.
A few minutes later, when everyone was piling into the kitchen for breakfast, eyes still losing remnants of sleepiness, they saw the swordsman sitting at the table, one blade ominously on his lap.
"Uh, Zoro?" Usopp laughed nervously, putting Sanji between himself and Zoro. "What are you doing?"
"I just want to talk to Luffy," came the steely, scary calm response.
"Me?" The captain blinked. "What did I do?"
You stood at the back of the group, rubbing your temples. Bickering with Zoro had taken a lot out of you, the stubborn swordsman refusing to accept the fact that your crush on Luffy was in the past.
"Let's go," Nami was the first to leave, deciding that whatever it was could stay between the two arguably strongest members of the group. Then she seemed to realise that, and froze. "Actually, absolutely not."
But before she could get to either one of them, Zoro demonstrated just what had made him so frightening to pirates and lunged at Luffy with inhuman speed. Which resulted in him chasing the captain around the Going Merry, yelling at him and slashing with his sword - possibly taking a hair off Luffy's head.
"WHAT DID I DO?!"
ACE
When you revealed that you used to have a - harmless, innocent, you added - crush on Marco, Ace immediately wanted to throw himself overboard. He's so dramatic, acting like you stabbed him in the back, pouting for the rest of the day.
When anyone asked him what was wrong, he crossed his arms, huffed, and said, "Ask (Name), the traitor."
You just sighed, explaining that he's upset over something you said. But then moments later, Marco appeared and Ace practically glowers in his direction, mini flames burning in his eyes.
"Will you calm down!" You exclaimed, putting yourself between the two of them as Ace raised a flame-engulfed hand.
Marco raised an eyebrow, "What's with him now?"
"Nothing!" You assured him, then turned your gaze on Ace, an intense look in your eyes, "Right, Ace? We're all fine."
"...Right," he murmured, extinguishing his ball of fire. He looked away, refusing to even glance in Marco's direction now. He crossed his thick arms over his bare chest, grumbling under his breath.
Marco eyed him warily, but walked away without questioning Ace's odd behaviour further. No one could ever explain it anyway.
You pinched the bridge of your nose, "Ace, look at me."
"No."
"Ace!"
"No!"
Giving up, you just wrapped your arms around his torso from behind, pressing featherlight kisses to his shoulder. When his body visibly relaxed, you grinned.
"...I hate when you do that," he mumbled, annoyance fading quickly.
"Liar, you love it."
LAW
Law offered you a...blank look. This information was not exactly new to him. He had already known, after all he'd been there to witness it. He just wondered why you found it necessary to tell him about it, especially when it wasn't relevant to him at all.
The changes were subtle, but you started noticing them as the days passed by. Penguin's workload increased, he was told to do more chores, and Law even gave into some of the other crew's demands - which were made to tease Penguin - to make Penguin do their chores.
"Did I...did I do something wrong?" You heard him asking Shachi and Bepo one day, panic in his voice.
You made your way to Law's quarters, knocking before you stepped inside, "Is there a reason that Penguin seems to be doing half the crew's work recently?"
For a brief, imperceptible moment, Law tensed. Then he regained his composure, and spoke without lifting his eyes from his work, "I don't know what you mean, (Name)-ya."
"I think you do," you walked over, standing right beside him. "And it's not his fault."
"Of course not. He simply volunteered to assist other crewmembers."
You sighed, shaking your head, "So it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I used to have a crush on him before I started liking you?"
Again, that barely-noticeable tension, before the calm returned, "You did? Fascinating." His tone was dry, and you found it incredible that he could deny what was so obvious while simultaneously insulting you with a sarcastic remark.
"But I told you-"
"When? I don't recall."
You sighed. This man was impossible.
LUFFY
Luffy burst out laughing, unfazed by your admission. Oh, you had a crush on Usopp before you started liking him? No problem! What could he do about it? It was in the past, no sense dwelling on it.
"Uh...are you sure, Luffy?" You raised an eyebrow, slightly disappointed that he wasn't more worked up about it.
"Yes!" The captain beamed. "You're mine now, right? It doesn't matter!"
While his logic was absolutely flawless, for once since you'd met him, you were bewildered. He was so calm about this, remaining cheerful despite you telling him you liked another crewmember once.
But over the next few days, there were signs that it affected him more than you thought. Usopp was suddenly sitting way across from you at the table, never volunteered to pair up with you when you split into groups at nearby islands, and always avoided eye contact when you spoke to him - though you later found out he was just watching out for the captain.
"Luffy!" You called, after getting sick of Usopp's hesitance to be anywhere near you alone, even on the ship.
"Yes, (Name)?" Your boyfriend smiled innocently, though that might have been because he either forgot what he did, or he didn't see anything wrong with it.
"Why is Usopp behaving like that?" You asked him. "Is this because of what I told you?"
Luffy laughed, shaking his head, "No, I'm sure it's just because he's not feeling well!"
"Uh huh..."
Luffy extended his arms to grab you, pulling you onto Merry's figurehead with him, "Let's stop talking about Usopp."
His tone left no room for argument.
SANJI
One would think that you had just broken up with him, or beat him over the head with a wooden plank severely. The chef was laying on the floor, after having passed out, now crying rivers.
"Sanji-" You began, but didn't know what to tell him.
"My heart!" He wailed, "How could you do this to me, my sweet (Name)?!"
"What did you do?" Nami asked you, laughing.
"I just told him that I used to like Zoro," you sighed, "And now he won't stop saying that I broke his heart."
Chopper went to check on Sanji, worried that you revelation might have actually impacted him - only to find out that Sanji was, in fact, just being overly dramatic.
"Sanji-" You started again.
"Noooo!" He cried, pouting. "It hurts too much!"
"Get over yourself, idiot," Zoro grumbled, "It's not like she still has those feelings."
That seemed to snap Sanji out of it, because then he was on his feet and he kicked the swordsman through the wall. Usopp screamed and rushed to inspect the damage, while you gave Nami one look and she broke the fight up by twisting both their ears like they were little kids, until they apologised.
USOPP
He was devastated. Because what do you mean you used to like Sanji???? What do you mean you had a crush on the most romantic, most flirtatious Straw Hat????? He almost passed out, but ended up crying instead.
And then he tried to take Sanji out - the sniping kind.
"Usopp!" You laughed when you saw him take aim at the chef while he was cooking. "Stop that!"
He stopped, standing up straight and hiding his slingshot behind his back, trying to look innocent, as if he hadn't just been attempting to assassinate the blonde cook.
You assumed that was the last of it, as you had assured him your crush on Sanji was in the past, and would never resurface again.
Then you heard screaming, a loud bang, and a frustrated yell.
When you got to where the commotion was, the rest of the crew was there. Luffy and Zoro were laughing, because Sanji's hair was standing up in all different directions, his face looking like he'd put it near a bomb.
Or like a bomb had exploded near him...
"Usopp!" You yelled, "Why did you do that?! I mean, I know why, but I thought we were over this!"
"I'm satisfied now," he said proudly, walking away.
Sanji tried to go after him, but Nami helped you out by stopping him - she actually just wanted an excuse to hit him.
There was never a dull day with the Straw Hat crew.

cognac queen - monkey d. luffy

the tension in the room could be sliced with a knife as you lay in luffy's bed with nothing but your underwear on. you both had forgotten why he even needed to strip you down, but you both knew what you wanted to happen next.
wc: 3.3k
warnings/tags: best friend modern! luffy x female reader, alcohol consumption, drunk sex, maybe kinda a little bit of oc luff, oral sex (f receiving), p in v, unprotected sex.
an: cognac queen by megan thee stallion, your honor he’s a MUNCH!!!!
luffy had spent all day cleaning his ridiculously messy room in anticipation of the arrival of his best friends. today had no significant events to warrant the lethal amounts of alcohol he and his friends would consume tonight, but regardless, the 7 of you were beyond excited.
but what was luffy particularly excited for? the alcohol? getting drunk? seeing his friends? seeing you? he didn’t know; all he knew was that his room needed to be spotless, he needed to look his best, and he needed to be on his best behavior. he needed to prepare for you to be in his presence, in his room, in his bed.
you’re his best friend; who cares if he’s a boy and you’re a girl? he loves you, he cares about you, and he wants you to be safe. so, of course, when you call him the day of and ask to spend the night, he agrees without hesitation. it’s not like it’s the first time the two of you have had a sleepover anyway.
to hang out just because you missed each other, after hard days, stressful events, and of course drunken nights, luffy had always invited you into his home whenever you needed or wanted a place to stay. regardless of the reason, his home was your home; what’s his is always yours, and you knew that. he’s the first person you’d always call, and you’re his.
with that being said, he knows you. like the back of his hand. so of course he knew you were going to get insanely drunk tonight. therefore, he ate a big meal and chugged a water bottle 30 minutes before your arrival in anticipation of the alcohol he was going to drink tonight, to ensure he would be somewhat sober enough to be able to care for you, yet still get tipsy enough to encourage you to get fucked up while he poured double- or triple shots into your open mouth, which he always loved to do.
even luffy can admit that his feelings for you may stray a little bit farther than most male and female friendships, but who could blame him? you were funny, sweet, a little reckless, and absolutely gorgeous, and everybody could see it, even your own friend group.
luffy catches his own mind wandering to you often, wondering where you were when you weren’t texting him updates of how your day was going, wondering who you were with, and what you were doing. wondering if you were wearing a low-cut top that put your tits on a magnificent display, or a short skirt that outlined the round of your ass, or if any boys were bothering his best friend.
he couldn’t think of you like that, though; no, he’s too scared of the possibility of losing you to his fantasies, so he decided that he would do what he could for you as a best friend and save his feelings for his imagination.
your overnight bag was packed and filled to the brim with everything you might need tonight, as well as the shortest sleep shorts you own and your favorite oversized graphic t-shirt, compliments to your best friend.
despite the “occasion,” you made sure you looked your best tonight, makeup done, hair curled, and wearing the best casual outfit for the night you’d spend with your best friends. sure, some people could argue that drinking copious amounts of alcohol and getting shitfaced with your best friends was hardly considered an “occasion,” but to you, it was. it was an occasion because your best friend would be there, and you’d be spending the night with him in his bed.
sleepovers at luffy's household meant everything showers, looking your best, and meticulously planning what pajamas you’d wear for the night in hopes that maybe, just maybe, that night would be the night he finally dissolved the tension between the two of you.
everybody seemed to be aware of your feelings for luffy, but him. sneaking glances at him during movie nights, resting your leg on top of his when it wasn’t necessary, or giving him lasting hugs. even occasionally choosing to sit in his lap when there wasn’t enough room in sanji's car, or holding his hand in a big crowd at a party or event.
regardless of your attempts to seduce him, it seemed as though he thought of your actions as nothing but mere habits of yours. even though you purposefully never acted this way with sanji, zoro, or usopp. you had eyes for luffy, and only luffy. nothing would change that, and nothing could stop you from trying your hardest to turn your fantasies into a reality.
7:24pm, fashionably late per usual. you open your phone to check your friends’ locations, and of course they’re on time and probably already drinking in luffy's room. you brought a bottle of vodka, so who were they to complain anyway? besides, regardless of their head start, you would find a way to be the drunkest in the room by the end of the night without a doubt.
instead of knocking, you text luffy a quick “outside,” and within the minute, the door slams open, and you’re greeted by his big goofy grin and open arms. you immediately accept the hug without hesitation and let yourself fall into your best friend's open arms.
“they’re drinking already; come on, let’s go!” he utters quickly before grabbing your hand and dragging you to his bedroom, where the rest of your friends could be found listening to loud music and drinking their livers away over mild conversation.
luffy once again bursts through the door with you in hand, another gigantic grin plastered across his face as he shows you off like a trophy to the people you talk to almost every day. as your friends begin to realize it’s you through their drunken haze, they greet you kindly and excitedly, whether it’s almost yelling your name with a smile or already pushing a bottle in your face.
after greeting your friends and taking a seat in between luffy and nami, your eyes scan the room and land directly onto zoro, well, more so the open bottle of hennessy he holds in his hand, with the cap in the other. immediately your eyes widen and your smile grows bigger.
“that. now.” you say pointing at the bottle of amber liquid in your friend’s hand. nami and robin laugh, knowing your love for the specific liquor in his grasp. zoro looks up at you from his seat on the floor, and the corner of his lips slightly perk up at your blunt statement.
“all yours.” he says as he passes you the bottle, which you take happily as you waste no time opening your mouth slightly to effortlessly down a few shots of the bitter yet smooth alcohol. luffy and zoro smile while the rest of the group laughs and cheers you on.
“so, what did everybody else bring?” you say, pulling off the bottle and wiping the remaining droplets of alcohol off of your lips. everybody who brought a bottle raised it up a little so you could see. nami- pink whitney, of course, sanji brought a small bottle of tequila, zoro brought the hennessy, luffy bought a buzzball, and robin brought…waters and mixers? and usopp brought absolutely nothing per usual. freeloader. It’s the thought that counts.
after scanning the room and making comments on what everybody brought, you whip out your own bottle of vodka, immediately popping open the top and taking a nice swig, then handing it to nami beside you to continue the process with the rest of the group.
as everybody else converses with one another over music and shots, you’re already feeling the small buzz and the burning sensation from the alcohol in your stomach. you look down next to you and notice the half-empty buzzball held within your best friend's hands.
“didn’t even want to wait for me? my favorite flavor too?” you say with a playful pout, feigning hurt. luffy's heart skips a beat as he wastes no time unscrewing the cap and telling you to open your mouth. You do as you’re told, and your best friend begins to pour entire gulps of your favorite buzzball that he picked out for you specifically down your throat.
“ain’t nobody drinking those waters, yo…” a drunken usopp states as he laughs at his own joke. every bottle, but the waters are gone. you’re lying on the floor sprawled out like a starfish because “it’s more comfortable here,” luffy, of course, copying your movements to lie beside you. everybody was drunk, and you’ve all had your fair share of conversation for the night.
it was the end of your night with your friends, so you should be sad, right? but no, you were ecstatic. yes, your friends were leaving, but that just meant that you were about to spend your alone time with luffy. one by one your friends said their farewells and left, nami being the last as she hugged you goodbye and waved at luffy as she got into her friend's car
luffy looked back at you as the car drove off; you’d already been leaning against the doorframe with your eyes closed. you were awake five seconds ago… he mumbled to himself. throwing you over his shoulder and carrying you back into his room.
now somewhat awake, you murmur something about wanting to get comfy. as Luffy places you on his bed and kneels before you to get eye level, he can tell your head is spinning by the way you waver back and forth.
“can you do it yourself? do you need my help!?” luffy asks a little too excitedly before he reminds himself to stay calm, as he may seem a little too eager to help you strip and get into your pajamas. he knew he saved himself earlier when he prepared for the night ahead of him, seeing as now he was only merely buzzed despite the alcohol he drank tonight.
you stifle a laugh, drunk and a tad flustered, but are well aware of your surroundings and your handsome friend before you, offering to help you change out of your clothes and get you comfortable for the night. the offer makes your thighs press together as your lower stomach flutters at the thought of him undressing you.
“i could use some help…” you mumble, already grabbing the hem of your shirt and lifting it slowly off of your torso and revealing your bra-clad tits to your best friend. luffy's face flushes a bit as he stares at the mounds of flesh that rest perfectly on your chest.
“right, right. let me help too!” he says as he clears his throat and eagerly as he gets to work on the button and fly of your jeans. once he gets them undone, he tucks his fingers into the sides of your jeans and slowly begins to peel your pants off of your body.
your drunken gaze falls on him, your best friend. his tongue peeking ever so slightly out of the corner of his mouth in concentration, and the way his eyes fall directly onto the bow situated on the hem of your panties, your stomach flips again.
he now stands to finish shimmying the rest of your pants off as you lie down to give him better access, eyes still following his every move as you begin to notice the way his hands are shaking slightly and his lungs taking deeper and heavier breaths, not to mention the tent he’s beginning to pitch in his shorts.
the tension in the room could be sliced with a knife as you lay in luffy's bed with nothing but your underwear on. you both had forgotten why he even needed to strip you down, but you both knew what you wanted to happen next. you decide to make eye contact with your best friend, look down at the crotch of his jeans, then look back up at him to show him that you knew he needed your help too.
you reach a hand out to his to tug his body between your spread legs at the edge of his bed, luffy's face now beet red as he realizes what you’re now insinuating. the leftover liquid courage that your body hasn’t yet filtered out is causing you to feel a little ballsy; you place his hand on one of your tits, helping him slowly massage the warm flesh there.
“is this…are you sure this is okay?” luffy whispers without letting his eyes drop from the scene playing out in front of him. you smile as you wrap your legs around his waist and push him forward so he lands on top of you, his forearms on either side of your head.
“more than okay,” you say breathlessly as you press your warm lips against his own. you truly cannot believe that this is happening, but you’re so glad that it is. the feeling of luffy's warm, full lips against your own is intoxicating; it’s everything you had ever built it up to be and more.
you snake your hand between your bodies pressed together and begin to fumble the button of luffy's shorts; he gets the memo and breaks free from the kiss to practically rip his shirt off of his body while you drag his shorts and boxers down his thighs to free his fully hardened dick.
luffy gasps slightly as he feels the cool air hit his pulsing cock, already dripping with need and want for you. sure, he’d have his nights where he would fantasize about this, about you licking the length of him from base to tip, about you pushing him backwards onto his bed and riding him through his first orgasm, about you crying pleasured tears over the overwhelming feeling of his cock hitting that one spot inside of you over and over again.
but of course, he never thought his wildest dreams would ever come to fruition, especially tonight, especially like this. but he wasn’t one to complain as long as he had you, all of you, even if it was only for tonight. he wanted to savor you, to relish in you. he looked down at you with lust and adoration in his eyes as he hooked his fingers around the waistband of your panties and pulled them down.
your wet and glistening heat put on full display for him; he never thought he would see the day. he kneels before you at the foot of his bed and hoists your legs up upon his shoulders before laying wet, open-mouthed kisses across your inner thighs. once he reaches your center, he flattens his tongue against your core, slowly licking his way up to your pulsing clit.
he waits a second to register your reaction as a small, relieved exhale leaves your lips; he delves in entirely, lapping at your pussy in its entirety as if he hadn’t eaten in days. not expecting his damning pace, you let out a particularly loud moan and grip his full head of hair as his fingers dig into the plush of your thighs.
the sensation is almost overstimulating, his strong grip on your thighs and the way he shakes his head back and forth in between your thighs as he licks and sucks at your heat. you’re not even sure if he’s doing it for your pleasure or for his. the gasps and moans leaving your mouth are nothing but motivation for him as his pace never slows.
“luffy, luffy, i want it, i want you, please.” you rasp out upon lifting your head up to catch his attention. feeling your orgasm fast approaching, yet he continues on as if a single word hadn’t left your lips. it takes all your strength to place your bare foot against his chest and push him backward slightly enough to get him to unlatch from your pussy.
legs shaking, your head collapses back onto the bed as you gaze back down at the sight in front of you, your best friend's face covered in your wetness, lips red and plump as he licks his lips and stares back at you with a half-lidded lustful gaze.
“why did you stop me, baby?” he queries as he tilts his head, voice deep and raspy as he begins to climb back on top of you.
“dick. now,” you say, and he laughs before inviting you into another warm kiss as you wrap your legs once again around his waist, pushing your centers against each other, the both of you simultaneously moaning at the friction it caused.
you reach your hand down once again to guide his dick into your aching hole; slowly, luffy breaks the barrier and pushes himself in inch by inch. the stretch is everything you had ever dreamt of, slightly painful, yet so satisfying; having his cock inside of you makes you feel whole. this new closeness you’ve achieved with luffy is something that you could easily become addicted to.
luffy lets out a broken moan as he realizes he’s fully buried himself inside of you, so warm and so wet, so much better than every fantasy he’s ever dreamt of with you. bottoming out, he wraps his arms around your waist as he hides his face in the crook of your neck, leaving more wet, open-mouthed kisses on the flesh before him.
you moan again, wordlessly begging him to start fucking you, and as if he read your mind, he begins to slowly drag his length in and out of your sopping cunt. the wet sounds that come from below the two of you and the soft moans that leave your lips put him in a trance, absolutely drunk on the feeling of you.
you, you, you—you’re the only thing on his mind. His body, his mind screams and yearns for more of you as he quickens his pace, losing himself in the warm, tight feeling of your core sucking him in. the increased volume of your moans and whimpers only increases the pace at which he fucks you.
as you feel the tip of his cock repeatedly kiss that spongy spot at the end of your pussy, you grab his face from the place that it’s buried in your neck, forcing him to look at the way he’s made your pupils blown out with lust and the way your eyebrows crease with pleasure. you kiss him once more, and he swallows your moans as you both begin to reach your highs.
“luffy, please, god...” you whimper into his ear as you wrap your arms around his neck and arch your back, pushing your tits flush against his chest as his relentless pace keeps you nice and full of him.
his pace turns sloppy yet stays consistent as he approaches his orgasm; he needs to feel you cum around his cock, and nothing will stop him from achieving his goal. the feeling of your nails scratching into his back as your thighs tremble and shake tells him he’s there, and he can finally let go.
luffy indulges himself in one last kiss as he pounds himself into you one more time; he feels your heat spasm around him as you cum, which helps him fully pump your insides with his seed, riding out his and your own orgasm completely; he collapses on top of your body. the both of you are sticky, hot, and heaving from the activity you just shared.
“okay, okay, now let’s get you dressed for reals now, sound good?” luffy whispers into your ear as he rises up slowly, noticing your shut eyes and furrowed eyebrows, breathing heavily as he smiles and tucks a stray tuft of hair behind your ear.

yall I listened to this with sports car and it kinda required my brain 😓
Mushi Mushi, Baby
╰┈➤ pairing: Luffy x female! reader
a/n: none
summary: While separated on a mission, you and Luffy share an intimate late-night call filled with longing, love, and desire — a tender connection bridging the ache of distance.
wc: 1.2k
contains: smut, explicit, praise, emotional vulnerability and longing, established relationship, soft, affectionate dirty talk, maybe oc luffy idk
The night was quiet. Too quiet.
You lay on your side, wrapped in the thin white sheets of the Sunny's infirmary bunk, the little porthole window beside you cracked just enough to let in the salt breeze. The stars outside were endless, mocking in their stillness.
He'd been gone three days. Just a quick scouting mission to investigate something for the Revolutionary Army. Something Sabo asked for personally. Of course Luffy had agreed. Of course he’d promised it wouldn’t take long.
Three days shouldn’t feel like forever. But it did.
Because now, after everything — the years of chaos, growth, kisses under moonlight, training bruises and stolen touches between battles — you weren’t used to a bed that didn’t smell like him. You weren’t used to silence.
Your fingers hovered over the Denden Mushi, thumb brushing its little shell face. You’d already picked it up twice. Told yourself you were being clingy. That he needed rest.
But you missed him. You missed his stupid laugh and his even stupider grin, the one that made your heart ache with how much you loved him.
So this time, you didn’t hesitate.
Brrr… brrr…
The snail buzzed lazily, sleepily.
Then, a click.
Then — his voice.
“…Hey, baby.”
Your breath caught.
His voice was gravelly, low. Sleep roughened and deeper than usual, thick with warmth. You could hear the rustle of him shifting, probably sitting up wherever he was. Maybe in some dark little hideout with a blanket wrapped around his hips. Maybe shirtless.
“Hey,” you whispered, suddenly shy.
“You okay?” he asked, and you heard it — that soft concern in his voice that he rarely showed others. “It’s late.”
“Couldn’t sleep.” You rolled to your back, letting your eyes flutter closed. “Missed you.”
He exhaled, slow and warm, like he was smiling.
“I missed you too,” he murmured. “You sound tired.”
“I was. But now I’m just… thinking.”
A pause. “About what?”
You hesitated. You could hear him, feel him, his breath in your ear like he was right there with you. And the way his voice dipped lower — the way he said “baby” — was doing something to your insides.
You squirmed a little under the covers.
“About you,” you whispered.
Another pause. Longer. Then —
“…Yeah?” His tone shifted, almost playful, but heavy. Like he knew where this was going. “What about me?”
Your breath hitched. “About how you sounded just now.”
“Mm.” A hum. Deep. Almost a purr. “You like my voice right now?”
“I love your voice all the time,” you admitted, voice shaky. “But right now? You sound…”
“Hot?” he teased, voice a little smug.
“Yeah,” you breathed.
You heard him laugh, low and slow, and it thrummed through you. Made your thighs press together.
“Tell me what you’re doin’ right now,” he said, quieter.
You hesitated.
“I’m in bed. Laying on my back. Thinking about you.”
He groaned a little, soft and needy. “What’re you wearin’, baby?”
You swallowed. “Nothing.”
The Denden Mushi made a tiny, shocked little face that mirrored yours. But Luffy didn’t laugh.
He was quiet for a second. Then he said, softer:
“…You touchin’ yourself?”
“Not yet.”
His breath caught.
“I want you to,” he said. “Right now.”
You whimpered, your hand sliding slowly down your belly. You were already slick, already aching. His voice alone was doing things to you that he hadn’t even meant to learn — but Rayleigh and that damn women-only island had taught him a thing or two, hadn’t they?
Your fingers found your clit, circling lazily. “Luffy…”
“I got you, baby,” he said, voice now rough with desire. “Close your eyes. Pretend I’m there.”
“I wish you were,” you whispered.
“You know what I’d do if I was?”
“Tell me.”
You could hear the smirk in his voice now. “I’d kiss you first. Slow. Make you feel it. You’d open your mouth for me, wouldn’t you?”
You moaned, pressing a little harder. “Yes…”
“Yeah, I know you would,” he whispered. “You’re so good for me. I’d touch you everywhere, nice and slow. Nip at your neck. Squeeze your thighs.”
Your hand moved lower, sliding between your folds, gathering wetness. Your body trembled.
“I’d suck on those pretty tits. Roll my tongue around your nipples 'til you whine for me. You always get so sensitive, baby…”
“I’m already sensitive,” you moaned.
“Good. That’s it.” His breath hitched — he was touching himself, you knew it. Probably had one hand wrapped around his cock, lazy and slow, just listening to you pant his name.
“You wet for me?”
“Dripping.”
“Fuck. I love you like that. Open your legs wider, baby. Rub slow, like how I do with my thumb, yeah?”
You did as he said, letting your fingers circle your clit just like he did — steady, teasing. It was maddening. His voice wrapped around you like heat.
“I wanna hear you,” he said. “Let me hear those pretty noises.”
You gasped, moaned his name again.
“Faster,” he growled, and the sudden command made your hips buck. “Now slide your fingers inside. Two. You can take it.”
You obeyed, biting your lip as you slipped two fingers into your heat, crying out.
“Wish it was me,” he groaned. “Wish it was my cock stretching you open. You’d be so full, baby. So warm.”
“Luffy—”
“I’d go slow,” he whispered. “Let you feel all of it. Grind deep, just how you like. Thumb on your clit, mouth on your neck. God, you’d squeeze me so tight…”
You were close. So close. Your fingers moved faster, hips rolling.
“Can I cum?” you pleaded.
“Not yet.” His voice was stern, but soft. “Wait for me.”
You whimpered. You wanted to be good for him. You needed it.
“You close, baby?”
“Yes.”
“I’m right behind you. Cum for me. Right now.”
That was it. You broke with a moan, crying out his name as the orgasm washed over you — hot, intense, blinding. Your back arched. Legs trembled. And you swore you could feel him there, whispering in your ear, pressing kisses to your skin.
You were still gasping when he groaned in your ear — a deep, broken sound — and you knew he’d finished too.
For a moment, there was only breath. Soft. Raw.
Then, his voice again.
“I love you so much.”
Your heart thudded.
“I love you too,” you whispered.
A long silence. Then —
“…You still sleepy?” he murmured.
You smiled, curling into the sheets.
“Not anymore.”
“Good.” His voice softened, gentle now. “I’ll be back tomorrow.”
“Promise?”
“I’ll make it in time for breakfast. And after that… I’m not letting you outta my bed for anything.”
You giggled, glowing.
“Good. I’ll be waiting.”

part 2 here
Law
Your legs are wrapped tightly around his waist as he pounds into you harshly. The long day of Penguin and Shachi nagging him had worn his patience thin, and you were suffering the consequences. Though, you’d never complain.
His tip bullies your cervix, hard enough for tears to pool in your lower lash line, but not hard enough for you to want to stop. The pain mixes with the pleasure, making your head spin as you lose control over your rational thought, the only focus in your mind him.
Your walls tighten around his cock as you arch into him. His grip on your hip is bruising, the other hand braced next to your head to support his weight.
“You gonna cum again?” He scoffs.
You whimper, nodding frantically as your eyes squeeze shut.
“Words,” He reminds you coldly. If your eyes had been open, you would have seen the way his brows furrowed, tongue poking out as he focuses on holding his orgasm back, wanting to cum at the same time as you.
“Please, Daddy, I’m gonna cum soon. Please can I cum?”
His hips stutter, eyes widening as he focuses on your face, screwed up in pleasure. You’re too far gone to realize what you’d said.
A grin spreads as he renews his effort, pounding into you harder than before. The name had sparked something in him, and he was even more focused on making you cum. He wanted to reward you for how good he felt.
“Yeah, baby. Cum for me.”
Ever obedient, you came with a cry. Your nails dug into his strong arms, eyes rolling back as waves of pleasure crashed through you. Your walls spasmed around him, milking his cock as he came with a groan, hot spurts of cum filling you up.
You come down slowly, aftershocks of pleasure coursing through you as you blink your eyes open, admiring the disheveled state of Law above you. His eyes are half-lidded as he grins at you, eyebrow raised in amusement as he waits for your brain to catch up with your actions.
Your eyes widen as you realize what you’d said, “Oh my god did I call you–”
“Daddy? Yeah, baby. You did.” He’s smirking as your cheeks turn red and you bring your hands up to cover your face with a groan. “Don’t worry, baby. I liked it.”
You slowly part your fingers, peering up at him through your hands, “Yeah?”
He nods, pulling your hands away and dropping his head to kiss you softly.
Ace
Your cries are muffled as he pushes your head further into the pillows, the sound of skin meeting skin ringing through the room.
His other arm is wrapped under your waist, holding your hips up at just the right angle. His eyes are glued to the way your ass ripples with each thrust of his hips into yours. He tugs his lower lip between his teeth, groaning softly at the way your walls squeeze him so nicely.
Your cries get louder, walls squeezing him tighter as you feel the precipice of your orgasm right there when suddenly he pulls out, leaving you empty and wanting.
You almost sob, fisting the sheets as a cry of frustration leaves you. You’d been at this for nearly an hour. Ace knew your body too well, knew exactly how you felt when you were about to cum. He’d had you walking the line for far too long, never letting you succumb to the pleasure.
“Please!” You cry, the word muffled by the pillow. You can hear his light chuckle as he taps his tip over your hole, not bothering to answer you.
He slams back into your warmth in one smooth motion, setting a punishing pace immediately. His cock slides easily in and out of you, your arousal soaking your thighs, his pelvis, everywhere.
You’re quickly pushed to the edge of your orgasm, oversensitive from all the teasing. He can tell, and pulls out yet again.
“Please let me cum, Daddy, please!” You babble desperately, tears soaking the pillow, “Please, I’ve been so good.”
He blinks at the name, a smile spreading. His cock weeps as he rubs it through your folds, drunk on your pleas. He notches his tip in your entrance, but doesn’t push it in just yet.
“C’mon angel, beg for Daddy’s cock. Tell me how much you want it.”
“Please, Daddy, I want your cock so bad. You make me feel so good, so so good. I wanna cum all over your cock, wanna show you how well you fuck me. Love your cock, Daddy, love the way you fuck me. Please fuck me. Wanna feel your big cock filling me up again.”
He grins, borderline feral as he slams into you. You cry out, the drag of his cock against your oversensitive walls almost painful. Your head is fuzzy as you feel your orgasm build again. Your knuckles turn white from how hard you’re gripping the sheets as you silently beg him not to pull out again.
To your relief, he doesn’t. Your orgasm hits you like a train, your whole body shaking from the force of your orgasm. The arm around your waist is the only thing keeping you in place as your body goes limp with pleasure.
He collapses into you, sweaty chest pressing against your back, pushing you deeper into the mattress as his orgasm hits him. His teeth dig into your shoulder with a muffled groan, hips grinding against yours to work you both through your highs.
He detaches his teeth from your shoulder, pressing a soft kiss to the mark and rolling off of you with a grin.
“Daddy, huh?”
“Shut up. You liked it.”
Sanji
Your head is lying against his shoulder, eyes shut and body lax with pleasure. He has you seated on his cock, hands on your hips lifting you up and down repeatedly. You’d long given up on doing the work. His gentle voice in your ear had urged you to let him take over, to just sit back and relax, let him give you pleasure. You’d given in, forever weak to his loving gaze.
“Pretty, pretty girl,” His voice is rough in your ear, nose nuzzling into your hair, “Look at how well you take me. Pretty little pussy swallowing my cock so well. You make me feel so good, the way you squeeze my cock has me seeing stars.” You whimper at his praise, cheeks burning as you hide your face in the crook of his neck.
“Aw, sorry angel am I making you shy?” He chuckles softly, not sorry at all. “I can’t help it; you just do such a good job! So wet, and warm, nice and tight too. The most perfect pussy I’ve ever seen. And oh, you taste so sweet. Better than any meal I’ve ever had.”
You whimper again, senses overwhelmed. The tip of his cock rubs your g-spot perfectly with every thrust, his pelvis rubbing your clit just right with each lift of your hips, and the filthy praise in your ear shooting straight to your core.
You can feel yourself getting close again. You’d long lost track of how many times you’d cum. Sanji was determined to get at least one more out of you, then maybe he’d consider it a job well done. There was very little he liked more than watching you go dumb on his cock, muscles limp as you gave yourself over to him completely. The trust you placed in him to take care of you warmed his heart, and he was determined not to take it for granted.
“Just like that, angel. Can feel you squeezing my cock so nicely. You gonna cum again? You like the way I’m fucking you, like the way I make you feel? Go on, pretty baby. Cum for me, show me how good I make you feel.” His voice is soft as he coaxes you towards your orgasm, but there’s an undercurrent to his tone, something that shows you just how much he craves the sensation of you choking his cock. The barely audible desperation tugs at your heart, urging you to push the fog out of your brain just enough to babble a response.
“So good, Daddy. You make me feel so good, wanna cum again. Gonna cum all over your cock again, wanna show you that you make me feel so, so good. No one else makes me feel this good, only you.”
He moans loudly, suddenly pushed over the edge into his own orgasm at your words. Your moan matches his as you feel his cock throb inside of you, ropes of cum spilling into you and pushing you over the edge as well.
Your head lolls against his shoulder as your legs shake, walls spasming around his pumping cock as you sink into the pleasure he gives you, body light and airy as he presses messy kisses over the side of your head. As you both come down, his hands leave your hips to pull your face away from his neck.
His lips meet yours in a searing kiss, the tang of blood making you blink your eyes open, brows furrowed in concern. Your gaze narrows in on his nosebleed, eyes widening in concern.
“Sanji! You’re bleeding!” You look around for something to staunch the bleeding. “Sanji? Who’s Sanji? I’m ‘Daddy’ now, right?” His voice is dazed as he gazes at you like he worships you.
You frown at him, nose crinkling in annoyance, “Damn, I did say that, didn’t I? You lose ‘Daddy’ privileges if you’re annoying about it, so tread carefully.”
His smile is dazed as he shakes his head, “I won’t be annoying. I’m never annoying.”
You roll your eyes, wiping the drying blood from his nose and leaning down to kiss him again.
Luffy
Your legs are wrapped tightly around his waist, arms around his shoulders as you kiss him messily. His hands are under your thighs, holding you up against the wall as his cock pumps in and out of you.
His teeth catch your lower lip, sucking it into his mouth. You whimper, fingers tangling in his hair. His fingers dig tighter into the fat of your thighs, a moan leaving his lips as he kneads the flesh.
He releases your lower lip, dropping his head to suck a mark into the crook of your neck. Your head drops back against the wall, lips parted with pleasure.
The tip of his cock kisses your cervix, dragging perfectly over your g-spot with each thrust. His pelvis grinds against your clit, the friction making your head spin. You pant softly, the grip on his hair tightening as you feel yourself edging closer to your high.
“Luffy,” You whimper. “I’m so close. Don’t stop, please don’t stop.”
He breaks away from your neck to rest his forehead against yours, grinning, “I won’t stop pretty baby, don’t you worry. You like the way I’m fucking you? Am I making you feel good?”
“So good, you’re making me feel so good. Gonna cum soon, please let me cum soon Luffy.” You whine, struggling to focus on his face as you grow dizzy with pleasure.
“Yeah, you wanna cum? You wanna make a mess all over my cock?” You nod desperately, trying to hold your orgasm off until you get his permission.
“Beg for it, baby. Convince me.”
“Please! Please Luffy, let me cum on your cock. You make me feel so, so good. Wanna show you how good you make me feel, please let me show you how good you make me feel. Gods, please can I cum I’m so close.” Your words are whimpered, eyes squeezing shut as you focus on holding your orgasm off.
He grins, “Cum for me, baby.” You cry out, back arching off the wall as your orgasm crashes through you. Your body shakes with pleasure, walls clamping down on his cock as your arousal gushes out, soaking his pelvis and your inner thighs.
He groans, eyes squeezing shut as he grinds into you one last time before cumming, his seed spilling out of him and painting your walls. You moan at the feeling, clenching harder around him.
His hips keep moving, fucking himself through his orgasm. You whimper, oversensitive and desperate for relief. Your hands smack at his shoulders but he ignores you, eyes glued to where you’re joint as his cum starts to seep out of you, pushed out by his thrusts.
“Daddy please, s’ too much,” You whimper, trying to wriggle free.
His eyes shoot up to meet yours, dark with lust, “Take it. You’re the one who was begging not too long ago. You can take a little more, can’t you?”
His gaze leaves little room for argument, and you nod dumbly, biting your lower lip to keep your whimpers in.
His pace slows down as his high fades. He carefully pulls out of you, setting one of your legs down but keeping the other up so he can watch the way his cum drips out of you.
It’s not until later when you’re both relaxing in the bath, your back against his chest, that he realizes.
“Did you call me ‘Daddy?’”
Your cheeks turn pink as you internally cringe. It had just slipped out, and honestly, you were hoping he hadn’t noticed.
“Uh. Maybe? I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to. I won’t do it again, Luffy. Sorry.”
You can feel the way his chest shakes as he laughs, and your blush darkens.
“Don’t worry about it. You can do it again if you’d like. It was nice.”

is this love? | monkey d. luffy x fem!reader

you had caught his attention from the moment he met you, and now he knew exactly why. these feelings were both enticing and petrifying, suddenly filled with guilt for being so unprofessional. although, monkey d. luffy has never been a man of tradition...
word count: 6.4k
tags: fem!reader, a lil angsty (brief mentions of insecurity), best friend!usopp and best friend!nami, shifting perspectives between reader and luffy (most of it in luffy’s pov), some suggestive content but no smut, hardly proofread oops, lots of fluff tho! inspired by ‘is this love?’ - bob marley & the wailers :)
the sun hung high in the sky, it's warm rays spreading across your skin, transforming it into a glistening bronze. it was a leisurely time on the thousand sunny, the chaos of battle behind the crew and a ways away in the new world. you finally had time to yourself, taking advantage of the tranquility that lingered in the air. all morning, you participated in self-care activities — from enjoying a long, steamy bath without disruptions from your male crew mates, to dedicating quiet time on the deck to finish the rest of the book Robin lent you while you tanned in your admittedly-skimpy bikini. however, the peaceful silence become suddenly unsettling, your heart beginning to race as you became increasingly anxious. your senses had been already been deprived, the sun blazing just behind the thin layer of your eyelids, the wind’s pace picking up and swarming into your ears. where is everybody?
as if you had summoned them, the door to the sunny’s common area swung open, slamming so hard against the wooden panels you thought it created a dent. three figures emerged carrying vibrant weapons that sprayed a mysterious liquid. before you could react, the salty liquid covered your entire body, small icy squirts piercing through your skin accompanied by shouts and belly laughter.
“get her, Usopp!!” a high-pitched voice rang, giggling uncontrollably as they swarm around you. Luffy and Usopp surround you, boxing you in while you sat there stunned and helpless in your seat. it turns out that Usopp had manufactured a new weapon — although, it’s sole purpose was to terrorize you and the rest of the crew rather than the foes you’d soon face in the new world. Chopper had made himself comfortable while he rested on the shoulders of the surprisingly sculpted man before you, Usopp’s brown skin glistening with sweat and seawater. Luffy stood beside you, his pronounced abs directly in your eye sight as he gazed his pearly grin upon you. the proximity of his heaving, sweaty body beside you made your cheeks flush, hoping the rubber man wouldn’t notice as you stare a little too longingly into his eyes.
the fondness you’d grown for your captain slowly bloomed into an unrequited crush over time — constantly reminding yourself that he has bigger things to worry about than working his way into your heart. the weight of his effect on you was suffocating at times, almost like “an exhausting burden that sucked the life out of me,” you had described to Nami once. it was unnecessarily distracting the way you couldn’t keep your eyes off of him — sneaking glances at dinnertime as he ravaged his meal, always looking for him during a battle to ensure his safety over your own, fumbling over your words and avoiding eye contact whenever he would approach you. his blissful ignorance to your coy advances didn’t make it any better, he always assumed you were just teasing him.
“hey! what’s the big idea, huh?” you griped, shouting at the group for splashing the crisp pages of the book on your lap. Robin is gonna kill me. “i’m gonna wring your neck for soaking Robin’s book! you know she's gonna my head, dumbasses!”
“awww c’mon [y/n]! it’s just a little water! what are you, scared or something?” Luffy teased, quirking his thin eyebrows.
“just a little water, huh? we’ll see about that,” you retorted, shifting your shocked expression to something more sinister and calculated. The sudden change of your demeanor stunned the young men before you, each of them exchanging quick glances before turning tail to flee. before they could do so, you lean over, clutching onto Luffy’s strong arms to steal the water-gun from his hands. the swiftness in which you moved didn’t give him enough time to react, a surprising feat considering how agile he can be. the slick from the sweat-seawater mixture that coated his body caused your hands to slip, gliding across his firm biceps and feeling every vein and scar that marks his skin. you were able to find dry patch on his wrist, clasping it in your hands and ridding him of the weapon.
“hey what the-!” Luffy exclaimed, arms thrown up into the air, leaving him perfectly vulnerable to your attack. you aimed the gun straight at the area between his eyes, the espresso-colored irises following its barrel. ocean water squirts right where you want it, waves of obsidian becoming soaked and falling over his eyes. Luffy shakes his head to rid his eyes and hair of the salty water, directing its droplets to you when he hears your squeals of shock. a large splash hits your spine as Usopp and Chopper team up against you, firing their “ammo” whilst you were distracted. you turned your attention to them, your initial anger subsiding into an invigorating rush of adrenaline as you charged toward them, laughing and screaming.
“Luffy, grab her!” Usopp commands over his shoulder, shielding himself from your relentless attack. before you could comprehend the command, you’re suddenly swept off your feet, kicking your long silky legs as a pair of strong arm wraps around your waist and hoist you up.
“Luffy! put me down!” you pleaded, giggles being pushed out of you as Luffy presses firmly on your stomach. he shifts your entire weight into his arms, hooking one of his arms under your legs as he carries you bridal-style. Instinctively, you wrap your arms around his neck, pressing your bare chest against his, breathing in tandem as he carries you toward the commotion. your breasts graze against the large “x” scarred into his chest, the textured skin creating a sense of friction that causes your stomach to flutter. you hadn’t noticed, but you had been breathing dangerously close to the crook of his neck as you held yourself close to him. selfishly, you wished this silly quarrel never ended, just so you could hold onto Luffy’s touch for a little while longer…
…
Luffy and Usopp had been scheming all morning — huddled and hushed in the corner of the boy’s quarters as Usopp made the finishing touches to his new contraptions. their sudden bursts of rambunctious laughter had earned its fair share of glares from Zoro, who had been resting peacefully in his hammock. they had been compiling a list of unsuspecting victims to test their weapons on — automatically ruling Zoro out as he had seen the finished product. as Usopp went down the list, Luffy gave his opinion on how he think each person would react, giving amused “oooo”’s and “ahhh”’s with each name. when Usopp made his way to your name, Luffy rolled over on his back, holding his stomach as a sweet melody of belly laughter erupted from his lips.
“oh man, she’s gonna be so mad!” he exclaimed, riding through his fit of giggles.
“she's gonna kill you two, you know that right?” Zoro grumbled, peeking at the pair through his dark eyelashes. his arms crossed behind his head, hands cupped in the valley of green tufts to support his neck while he rested.
“that’s why we have to do it! [y/n] has yet to experience a taste of our pranks. c'mon Usopp, back me up here!”
Luffy’s gaze fell upon his best friend, who had still been tinkering with the gun’s trigger mechanism. Usopp’s tongue rested between his lips in concentration, briefly returning it back to it’s place as he looked over to Zoro, “he’s right, Zoro. everyone on the crew needs to experience it. it’s like a rite of passage.”
“whatever. i’m not savin’ anyone’s ass if she bugs out,” Zoro conceded, shutting his eyes for the last time as he finally drifts off to sleep.
so that’s exactly what they did — stealthily monitoring your every move throughout the morning, lurking within dark corners of the ship to catch you in a vulnerable position. and, unbeknownst to yourself, you set the perfect trap when you decided to bask in the midday sun with your funny little book.
now, Luffy carried you in his firm grasp — cradling you close as he dodged the fire from Usopp and Chopper’s offense. the seawater sprayed upon your exposed body caused you to slip from his grasp, Luffy’s fingers sliding from the slick pooling between the creases in your thighs and waist. with every passing moment, his grasp on you became looser and looser. eventually, you were able to break free — using your freedom to take control and tackle Luffy, fighting him for his weapon.
the two of you tussled on the warm patch of grass that coated the deck, arms and legs beginning to itch from the constant scratching. Luffy had fought many dangerous foes before, but they were no match for your strength and determination. he felt himself losing, your thighs pinning his waist to the ground as you firmly parked yourself on his lap. you used one of your free hands to pin his wrists against the pillowy grass beneath the two of you, the other hand spinning the toy gun with incredible ease.
you rested the gun between the small space where his dark eyebrows met, a sly smirk dancing across your lips, “gotcha.”
the air surrounding the two of you abruptly became thick, Luffy’s breath hitching in his throat despite the quickened rise and fall of his chest. why is she so heavy all of a sudden?
the height of the sun once again casted its beaming rays onto you — only this time, you had an unexpected audience. your soaked hair had draped over one of your exposed shoulders, the saltwater accentuating natural waves that ran through it. the suns rays allowed the seawater that coated your skin to glisten, droplets shimmering over the curve of your thighs and boobs and ass and—
wait.
Luffy found his heart racing against his thoughts, thumping violently in his chest. an unfamiliar warmth pooled at the base of his abdomen, sparking into a living flame that kindled and fluttered throughout his body. the warmth suddenly became overwhelming, his cheeks and neck flushing with every passing moment. the blissful fluttering in his belly transformed into an unbearable wave of nausea, anxiety rising in his chest. what the hell is going on???
without much thought, Luffy abruptly twists his hips from beneath you, causing you to lose your balance. you rolled onto the grass, propping yourself up on your elbows as you watched Luffy briskly walk away, the muscles in his back working as he hurriedly swung his arms back and forth.
“hey, are you okay?” you called out, concern filling your chest.
even the sound of your voice put Luffy on edge, worried that you would catch on to his sudden change in demeanor. he flashed you a quick smile over his shoulder, his pearly teeth shining in the sun as they gritted against each other, “yeah, i’m fine! i think i just ate too fast is all. i’m gonna go lie down for a bit.”
the moment he returned to face the rest of the sunny, his smile fell. Luffy made his way down to the boys quarters, finding his bed and flopping face down into the mattress. he released a sigh that could’ve pushed all the air from his lungs had he tried just a little harder. the weight on his chest made him wish that he could do just that, hoping that such a simple remedy would cure his sudden ailment. becoming so overwhelmed by an unfamiliar feeling unsettled Luffy. he had always been so used to being sure of himself — never thinking twice about challenging emperors and soldiers with bounties that dulled his own in comparison.
the thoughts that raced through his mind caused him to toss and turn, ruffling the already-disturbed sheets from beneath him. falling asleep was always second nature to Luffy — the act of simply resting his head was enough to make him drift off to sleep. but now, he couldn’t stop thinking. images of your soaked body flashed behind his closed eyelids, the droplets of water traveling down your navel burned into his memory. Luffy released a loud groan of frustration, palms digging into his eyes as he pulled at the jet-black hair that draped across his forehead. dramatically, he kicked the sheets that became tangled between his legs, limbs flailing and begging to be set free.
Luffy’s thoughts nearly suffocated him, anxiety rising in his throat as he came to the realization that something was seriously wrong. he hopped out of bed, immediately swinging open the door and making his way over to Chopper’s medical ward. his loud footsteps echoed through the narrowed hallway, large feet slapping against the floor as he charged straight to the familiar door. Luffy lingered a while before knocking, fidgeting with his calloused hands as he worked up the courage to admit that he was sick. he was always used to taking care of his crew that he often felt bad for worrying them about his own problems.
“hey Chopper, you in there?” he asked gently, lips pressed against the crack of the door.
a small “hm?” was heard before the sound of hooves scuffling against the wooden floor made their way closer to Luffy. Chopper opened the door, curiously inspecting his captain as he stepped inside. Luffy jumped onto the examination table, the weight of his butt slamming against its surface caused some nearby vials to rattle.
“what’s wrong, Luffy? did you get into Sanji’s knives again? he told you not to do ‘three-knife style’ anymore!!” Chopper scolded, worried that his friend ticked off the ship’s cook. “if you make him mad again he’ll give the rest of your dinner away to Nami and Robin.”
under normal circumstances, Luffy would have entertained the idea, arguing that mastering such an artistic fighting style would only help in improve his chances of becoming king of the pirates. however, this day had been far from normal — nerves once again bubbling up to the surface, making his mouth go sour as his thin brows furrowed together. “i think something’s wrong with me Chopper. like, seriously wrong.”
Chopper’s blue nose twitched as the expression on his face shifted from amusement to concern. panicked, he shuffled his way over to Luffy, grabbing his blue medical bag to assess his condition. he noticed the way Luffy clutched at his stomach, fingers lingering over the small tissue that covered his belly button. Chopper tenderly pressed on his abdomen, testing whether or not his friend is suffering from something internal, “does this hurt?”
Luffy shook his head, sighing heavily as he laid down on his back. “it’s not a stomachache i don’t think, it’s something…different. i can’t put my finger on it.”
“well, what do you mean? maybe if you tell my your symptoms, i can make a treatment plan to help you feeling good as new!”
Luffy smiled at his generosity, mentally patting himself on the back for choosing such a caring doctor to manage his crew. he chewed on the soft tissue inside his mouth, contemplating different ways to list out his symptoms. when that didn’t work, he just let his mouth run, word vomit pouring out of him seemed to be the way to go.
“it all started when we were on the deck playing with the water guns. my heart started to race and my cheeks got super hot, like my face was on fire! my palms got super sweaty too — like way more than usual so that made me even more nervous cause i almost never sweat. and then my stomach — oh my god my stomach — it felt like all of my organs did a flip! i haven’t felt that way since Katakuri spun me around in the mirror world, and even then it didn’t feel nearly as bad as it did just now! i seriously thought i was about to yack all over [y/n] if i didn’t get off the floor.”
Chopper stared at him wide-eyed, his breathing becoming rapid as he worked to piece the puzzle of Luffy’s sudden illness together. as Luffy continued, Chopper became increasingly more nervous, each of his symptoms sounding a little too close to a virus he had done some reading on earlier that week. he had read that the mystery disease came from ingesting a rare bacteria that thrived off of hot, humid climates and the salt from ocean water — which had coincidently been the exact conditions the straw hats had been sailing through for the past few days. Chopper’s “brave doctor” act slowly begins to deteriorate as Luffy continues to list his symtoms, “-and my chest got super tight, like someone was squeezing my heart and wringing out my soul”
tears welled up in Chopper’s eyes, a small trail of snot running out of his blue nose. the sound of his sniffling pulled Luffy out of his thoughts, returning his attention to his furry friend. “Chopper? what’s wrong buddy? was it something i said!?”
losing the battle of fighting back his tears, Chopper began to wail and turned around to flee the room. Luffy charged after him, puzzled as to why he would suddenly burst into tears. it turned out that Chopper was making his way to the kitchen, seeking comfort from Nami and Sanji, who had been preparing the crew’s next meal. the aroma of chicken and vegetables filled the room, the delicious scent traveling to the rest of the ship as the door swung wide open.
“hey! if the two of you are gonna horse around, then do it outside! i’m cooking here-“ Sanji shouted, cautiously swinging his knife to point in the direction of the deck.
“LUFFY’S GONNA DIE!” Chopper cried, ending Sanji’s sentence short and gaining the attention from the chef and his unexpected partner. bewildered, the pair turned to face the intruders, fear becoming apparent on both of their faces.
loud, thunderous footsteps had suddenly come to a halt upon entering the room, Luffy caught the swinging door with his large palm before shouting, “I’M WHAT?!”
“i’m sure that’s not true, Chopper. now what’s actually going on?!” Nami asked, her tone soft with reassurance. she had been chopping carrots and celery to accompany Sanji’s dish, the blade coming dangerously close to her long fingers upon the interruption. Chopper had run up to Nami, seeking comfort in her lap as he nuzzled his face into her thighs, wiping his tears on the pair of denim jeans she wore.
“all of his symptoms line up with a specific virus i was doing some reading on the other week! i don’t have the proper herbs to cure it in my collection! i’m so sorry,” Chopper said, the last part muffled as he hid his face behind his small hooves.
“well what were the symptoms? maybe you’re just jumping to conclusions buddy,” Sanji soothed, his raspy voice always softer when speaking to Chopper. with that, Chopper turned to Luffy with glossy eyes and snot dribbling down his chin, nodding his head for him to share his symptoms. so much for doctor-patient confidentiality.
Luffy huffed a deep breath, preparing for his crew to decide his fate, “fine. i dunno…when we were messing around on the deck, my chest just got real tight all of a sudden — and not from all the running around. it was…different, like an aching almost.” Luffy balled his hand into a fist, mimicking the tightness in his chest. “and my stomach started fluttering and burning, like way deep down. i’d never felt anything like that before in my life. and the weirdest part was that it didn’t hurt, but it actually felt kinda good for a moment…”
the words from Luffy’s rosy lips trailed off as he returned his gaze back to his crew, their faces shockingly calm and…happy? “why are you guys looking at me like that? what’s wrong with me??”
the door to the kitchen swung open once more, Zoro walking in and holding from a half-empty bottle of sake. “sounds like you’re in love,” he joked, chuckling as he brought the rim to his mouth and taking a long swig. Sanji began to berate him for being so selfish, claiming that the bottle he was so carelessly drinking from was meant for “special occasions only, dumbass!”
Luffy blew a raspberry through his lips, “yeah right! i’ve never even had a crush on anyone! that’s just gross, plus that’s Sanji’s job!”
“i don’t know Luffy, what you just described sounds exactly what i feel when i look at my sweet Nami and Robin!” Sanji cooed, his tongue lolling out of his mouth and smooching kisses in Nami’s direction.
Nami, not even flinching at Sanji’s advances, asked more questions to investigate Luffy’s condition, “well, did it happen when you were looking at anyone in particular..?” despite being known for her independence, Nami was very in tune with romance — always picking up on queues and indulging in romance fiction that Robin would entertain her with. the moment she asked the question, Luffy’s demeanor shifted.
“well...kinda. it happened when i was holding onto [y/n]” Luffy said, voice unfamiliarly low and shy. the entire room erupted in laughter, teasing Luffy for sweating something so normal. Chopper sighed with relief, glad to know that his friend wasn’t dying. Nami giggled and punched Luffy’s arm playfully, “you do have a crush, ya dope!”
Zoro slapped his back with an extra-heavy hand, his slight drunkenness causing him to lose control of his strength. something inside Luffy finally clicked, a brief moment of relief soothed his soul before the gravity of the situation came down on his shoulders like a fright train. the cacophonous laughter began to blend into a ringing in Luffy’s ears, overwhelmed with the information. he huffed a quick laugh and turned to make his way back to the boy’s quarters. what the hell?
…
Luffy couldn’t sleep that night, his eyes straining to carve out the grooves inside the wood that lay above him in the dark. everytime he closed his eyes, all he could see was you — the way your hips curved, your pillowy thighs plush across his lap, the small constellation of moles and freckles that sprinkled across your smooth skin. his cheeks flushed just at the thought, thanking every power up above that the room was dark and everyone was fast asleep. the racing of his heart was no match for the speed at which his mind ran, however, disgustingly sweet thoughts flooding his senses.
the brief moments of sleep he did get were interrupted by dreams about you. he pictured the way your warmth would feel beside him, entangled in his sheets and his arms after a long night of peaceful sleep. the rising sun’s glow landed on you just right, illuminating the soft skin on your bare back. your cheeks were colored with a soft, sleepy blush, the rise and fall of your back as you breathed soothed all his anxieties. your eyes had a softness to them that tugged at his heart as they stared into his own with contentment, your dark lashes still heavy with sleep. your plush lips fixed themselves into a smile, mumbling something that was inaudible to Luffy’s rosy ears. whatever you said didn’t matter, as your lips met his and morphed together into a soft kiss. morning breath be damned, he found himself drinking you in, touching every part of you, attempting to commit it to memory. however, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t remember exactly how you felt, the fuzziness of the dream clouding his senses. the dream felt like a warm embrace, a tight grasp that he wouldn’t mind staying in for just a little while longer…
when he woke up, Luffy opened his eyes to the empty spot in his bed — you nowhere to be found. your absence led Luffy’s heart to ache, feeling like he was missing a piece of him. this newfound discovery about himself tied loose ends in his life that he couldn’t quite pinpoint — he wasn’t sure why he always made sure you were okay during a battle, why you were the reason behind his motivations for improvement, why he always caught himself sneaking glances at you during meal and leisurely time. you had caught his attention from the moment he met you, and now he knew exactly why. these feelings were both enticing and petrifying, Luffy suddenly filled with guilt for being so unprofessional. although, Monkey D. Luffy has never been a man of tradition.
…
the past few days had been a blur for Luffy, constantly lost in his own thoughts. he started becoming hyperaware of every little thing, making sure that every time he saw you he was presentable. Luffy started grooming himself — showering more than once week, spending more time in front of the mirror to tweak his wild hair so it sat just right. with the bouts of self-confidence came insecurity as well, overanalyzing his posture and facial features. the scars on his face and chest suddenly the only thing he could think about — wondering if you thought them to be impressive or gross, seeing them as a mark of failure and weakness rather than a symbol of survival and determination. he traced the rough edges of the scar on his chest with his calloused fingertips, analyzing the fusion of pinks and reds that color his chest. this particular day he decided to cover it up, buttoning his shirt just above his scar to conceal it from the rest of the crew, embarrassment and shame pang in his chest.
conflicting feelings wrestling in his mind and chest began to take physical tolls on Luffy — deep purple bags weighing his eyes down from the lack of sleep. he decided that he finally had enough of this senseless torture, deciding that today was the day he would tell you exactly how he felt. Luffy’s impatience led him to believe that jumping to confessions would finally allow him to marvel in all the good things love had to offer. he couldn’t wait for you to be in his arms, to carry you around on his back, to kiss you anywhere and anytime that he wanted. he couldn't wait for you to be his.
Luffy figured he would pay the only person he thought would be the most well-versed in this thing called “love” — his ship’s cook, Sanji. despite having a questionable past when it comes to romance, Sanji could actually be captivating, making suave advances at all kinds of women over their years of travel and succeeding. Luffy wandered into the kitchen, finding Sanji sharpening his knives in preparation for dinner.
“hey Sanji. can i ask you somethin’? Luffy asked, resting his elbows on the pristine table cloth as he took a seat. Sanji put his knives away and returned his attention to the young man, cautiously approaching him as he wore a solemn expression.
“sure, what’s up?”
“how can i tell [y/n] i like her? i mean, i don’t wanna scare her away but at the same time, i just can’t stop thinking about her! she’s so pretty I’m worried she wouldn’t wanna be with someone like me...” Luffy trailed off, getting lost in his sorrows once again.
Luffy’s uncertainty threw Sanji for a loop, scrunching his curly eyebrows in confusion, “since when do you care about what people think? just be yourself, Luffy, you have nothing to worry about. i’m sure if [y/n] didn’t like you she wouldn’t have joined the crew”
“well yeah but what if she doesn’t like like me? what if me telling her i like her scares her away and she’ll never be a part of the crew again?” Luffy threw his face into his hands, pulling at the stretchy skin around his cheeks in exasperation.
“if that’s the case, then treat her to a huge bouquet of flowers! women love that flashy shit,” Sanji claimed, taking a long drag from his cigarette. “i’ll even help you bake her a cake or something. sound good?”
“hell no, you’ve got it all wrong!” Nami exclaims, wandering her way into the kitchen for an apple to snack on. “women don’t just want ‘flashy shit’ Luffy, especially not [y/n].”
“wow Nami, that top looks darling on you!!” Sanji exclaims, scurrying over to her to get a closer look. brushing off the compliment with a simple “thank you,” Nami continues her string of advice.
“look, since i’m the closest to her i think that you should just be yourself. all [y/n] truly wants is honesty, and if you tell her exactly how you feel, she’ll be understanding no matter what.”
and it was true. Nami had easily become your best friend the moment you stepped foot on the thousand sunny — the both of you confiding in each other free of judgement. it was Nami and Usopp who had listened to you pour your heart out about how you truly felt about your captain. there were nights where you cried into her lap about how lonely you felt because you thought he would never reciprocate these feelings, believing that he couldn’t afford to make the room in his heart to love you more than just platonically. you believed that you’d be stuck in the friendzone forever, your bottled feelings gnawing at the walls of your heart bit by bit until it was entirely consumed by loneliness. Nami kept these moments in mind, internally screaming as she couldn’t wait to watch this relationship unfold. you idiots have no idea.
“once you’ve gathered your thoughts, then you can tell her how you feel. but until then, i’d lay low for a while — that way you don’t jump her the next time you see her. but don’t completely ignore her!”
Luffy hadn’t expected to take Nami’s advice, but it made sense as she was the closest to you. he brought her into a tight embrace, squeezing the petite woman’s frame as he chuckled a giddy laugh into her ear, “thanks Nami! who knew you were so good at this stuff?”
“yeah well, this therapy is gonna cost you about fifteen hundred berr—“
“SEE YA!!” Luffy shouted over his shoulder, cutting Nami off before she could set her price in stone.
…
you hadn’t seen or heard from Luffy in a few days, which wouldn’t worry you under normal circumstances if he wasn’t acting so…strange. your captain has always been cooky and silly, but this behavior was different. the times you had seen Luffy, you flashed him a soft smile, a peaceful, friendly greeting. however, his eyes would just go wide and avert your gaze, something akin to fear flashing in his dark eyes. when you tried to confront him about it, he would brush you off and say it was just leftover stress — but the way his lips pursed and how he avoided direct eye contact let you know that he was lying. after that conversation, you resulted to avoiding him as well, embarrassed to seek him out when it was very clear that he did not want to see you.
the loneliness and shame was eating away at you, every day a piece of you withered away as you mulled over what you could’ve possibly done to receive such treatment. all roads led back to that moment on the deck, where you got too comfortable, too carried away and let yourself do something you knew you shouldn’t have. it was too much, why would you ever think that was a good idea?
you made your way to Nami’s room, trails of dark grey running down your cheeks from the mascara you had cried off. upon opening the door, you caught a glimpse of Nami and Usopp laughing about something before they directed their attention to you. Nami’s warm smile quickly faded, patting the cushy space next to her as she invited you over. the moment you shut the door behind you, the tears returned tenfold. all the pent up frustration and anger came pouring out of you, strong streams of salty tears surging from your eyes.
“i think Luffy hates me,” you said, voice strained from choking back a sob. you filled them in on all the gruesome details, spilling the guilt and honest frustrations you felt and how you blamed yourself for his behavior. Nami immediately regretted the advice she gave to Luffy when she saw the state you were in, never imagining that you would’ve been this devastated. her and Usopp exchanged quick glances, warning each other not to reveal too much so they wouldn’t spoil Luffy’s confession plan.
“oh [y/n], i promise he doesn’t hate you. boys are just dumb sometimes, especially the ones on our crew,” Nami joked, chuckling lightly to ease the tension that lingered in the air. you huffed a breathy laugh as you wiped your nose, tucking your hair behind your ears to avoid getting the trails of snot into it.
“i think he’s just going through some personal stuff right now,” Usopp reassured, twisting the tiny frills of your shirt between his fingers as he lay sprawled out on Nami’s mattress. “trust me, i know what it’s like to have Luffy hate you for a while, and this just isn’t it. just give him some time and he’ll come back around.”
their kind words put you at ease, the stream of tears drying out slowly as you collected yourself again. “thank you guys, i needed that.”
the pair gave you soft smiles, continuing to keep the mood alive by cheering you up with filling you in on the predicament Usopp got himself into earlier that day.
…
the sunset marked one week since this whole predicament began, Luffy finally ready to confide in you about how he truly felt. he had prepared a whole speech — each line carefully crafted with Nami’s help to describe exactly how he felt, not wanting to miss a beat. he couldn’t afford to forget anything, as one tiny mistake could result in catastrophe. Luffy had never prepared this much for anything, not even when fighting warlords and emperors. you had superseded all of them, your attention and feelings more important than his own.
Luffy recited his speech over and over again in his head, making his way to your favorite spot on the sunny in hopes of finding you. the second he laid his eyes on you, however, his mouth went dry and the words suddenly scrambled together in his head. his attention was fixated on the way your face glowed against the orange horizon, the breeze blowing your hair behind you and putting every feature on display. you leaned over the railing, resting your elbows on the wooden edge as you drank in the smell of the seawater. your glowing eyes turned to meet Luffy’s, your face stoic and glum as you turned back to face the setting sun.
“fancy seeing you here,” you stated sarcastically, your words lacking any form of amusement as your frustration returned.
“can i talk to you about something?” Luffy said, his voice suddenly small and nervous. the tension in his voice had been unexpected, causing you to turn around and meet him face-to-face. you crossed your arms over your chest, nodding your head in his direction as a sign of permission for him to continue. Luffy took a deep breath, collecting his thoughts properly to restrain the word vomit that built up in his throat. although, his nerves made him feel like he was about to actually vomit.
“first, i want to apologize for the way i’ve been acting these past few days. it was never my intention to make you upset or mad at me or anything. i did it because…” Luffy paused, fidgeting with the hem of his shorts. god, this is so weird.
“because…?” you asked, the anticipation eating away at you. your heart thumped violently in your chest, throat beginning to sting as your nerves returned.
“because i like you, okay? like more than i should — and if i’m being completely honest, i didn’t even know i could like someone like that. but when I’m with you, i feel like i have a purpose. and of course I feel that way with everyone else, but you’re different!”
Luffy took a small step forward, gently grabbing your hands and holding them in his. “the moment i realized that i actually liked you, something inside me clicked. it felt like everything suddenly made sense and a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. i felt like i could breathe again and i was free. hell, i’ve been having dreams about you ever since — but nothing weird though i promise!”
the way he threw his arms up in defense at that last sentence made you laugh, all of the dizzying stress releasing through your nose. you hadn’t realized it, but tears began to flow from your eyes. but these were tears of joy, tears of relief that everything you had beat yourself up over for the past week was all in your head. all you could do was stare at the man before you with a beaming smile and teary eyes, your brain short-circuiting as you took in every syllable that left his mouth.
“i’m so sorry, [y/n]. i never meant to make you feel like i was avoiding you on purpose, i was just finding the right things to say. i really don’t wanna screw this up, so — if you’ll have me — i want to be there for you. i want to be the person you wake up next to every morning, the person you can come to and share everything with. i want to be yours and i want you to be mine.”
Luffy’s thumb grazed your cheek, wiping away the tears that ran down your face. you leaned into his touch, gently pressing your lips into the palm of his hand. the intimate gesture caused Luffy’s cheeks to burn a bright red, a hopeful smile forming across his lips.
“took you long enough,” you teased, redirecting his hands to your waist as you draped yours around his neck. “i’ve loved you for a long time, ya know? i was just waiting to see if you’d ever come around, dumbass.”
Luffy could no longer contain his excitement, hoisting you up by your waist and spinning you around in the air. your playful squeals were quickly silenced as he brought your lips to yours, drinking you in with every touch and taste.
many people made the assumption that Luffy was born under a lucky star, attributing his success to destiny and fate rather than the determination and strength he put forth. that claim had always pissed him off as it made him feel like he was cheating the system entirely. however, it wasn’t until he held you in this moment that he finally understood what they had meant.
i could get used to this.
teehee i’ve been wanting to write for luffy for sooooo long but never knew what to write about. then this idea came to me like an epiphany and im so glad it did!

ASKING JJK MEN, "IS IT IN YET?"
a/n : y'all know what y'all signed up for ʘ‿ʘ
KENTO doesn’t speak at first.
He just stills. Half of his thick cock stretching your cunt, your legs already trembling from how slow he’s been working you open. His jaw clenches. He closes his eyes.
Then—he exhales through his nose. A low, calm breath. The kind that says you’ve made a terrible mistake.
"Not in yet?" he repeats quietly, as if he's genuinely confirming.
And then he slams the rest of his cock in with a brutal snap of his hips.
You cry out, back arching, hands scrabbling for something to hold onto — but he doesn't give you a second. He sets a pace, deep and rhythmic, hips snapping into yours with punishing precision.
"Maybe I need to remind you what it feels like when it is."
His hand finds your throat, not squeezing — just there — anchoring you as he drives into you harder, his composure unraveling with every thrust.
"You’ll know next time. You’ll feel it tomorrow. You’ll be dripping my cum and still sore, and you’ll know it was in."
And he doesn’t stop until you’re gasping, shaking, ruined — and no longer so smug.
SATORU stares at you like you’ve just handed him the key to hell and told him to let loose.
"Is it in yet?"
He repeats it under his breath, a slow grin spreading across his face. It’s not playful. It’s dangerous. His cock throbs inside you, and you swear you can feel his hands tighten on your hips.
"Ohhh. You wanna play that game, huh?"
Then he pulls out — to the tip — and slams back in, hard enough to make the entire bed jolt. You squeal. He laughs.
And then he starts fucking you.
Not making love. Not teasing. Just fucking — rough, fast, unforgiving. Your legs fly open wider, toes curling, eyes rolling back with every brutal thrust.
"Still can’t feel it? Want me to go deeper, baby?"
He flips you like nothing, presses you into the mattress, and drives into you from behind, one hand buried in your hair, the other squeezing your ass hard enough to bruise.
"Gonna fuck that dumb question right outta you."
And he does. You’re a mess in minutes — crying, moaning, your voice breaking — and he still keeps pounding you, grinning like a madman as you scream his name.
SUGURU goes very, very still.
His cock is halfway inside you, thick and pulsing. You’re already clenching, already moaning, but you look up with that little smirk and say it:
"Is it in yet?"
He doesn’t smile. He doesn’t laugh. He just looks at you.
"Say that again."
You do. Barely. With a little nervous tremble in your throat.
And then he grabs your wrists, pins them above your head, and thrusts in deep — in one long, brutal motion that steals every breath from your lungs. Your cunt grips him instantly, tight and soaking, and he groans low, deep in his chest.
"Still think I’m not in? Hm?"
His hips move slow — so slow — but punishing. Deep enough to hit that sweet, devastating spot with every roll of his hips.
He watches your face twist with pleasure. Watches your confidence melt into gasping, ruined whimpers.
"You wanna be a brat? Then take it. Take all of me. Feel what happens when you mouth off to a man like me."
And you do. You take it. Crying his name by the time he cums deep inside you.
CHOSO gasps.
You say it half-jokingly, with that sparkle in your eye. He’s just started easing into you, careful, gentle, worried you’ll be too tight for him — and you tease,
"Is it in yet?"
His whole body goes rigid. His hands shake. His eyes go wide.
"You didn’t feel that? I’m in, I—"
And then something shifts. You see it.
He stops worrying.
And he thrusts in hard, deeper than he ever has, his cock slamming into your softest parts as a sharp cry rips from your throat.
"You feel it now?"
You don’t get a chance to respond — he’s already moving, his thrusts messy and frantic, fucking you with something close to desperation. His hair sticks to his cheeks. He’s panting, moaning, his voice cracking every time he pushes in.
"You feel every inch now, right? You know I’m in—fuck—you’re squeezing me so tight, I can’t—"
He cums hard, burying his cock as deep as it’ll go, then presses his forehead to yours with a breathless little whimper.
"Don’t… don’t say that ever again. I’ll lose it."
TOJI laughs. But it’s not funny.
It’s the kind of laugh that means you just fucked up.
"Is it in yet?" you ask, cocky, smiling — and he’s already deep.
His expression drops. He leans down until his lips are at your ear.
"You wanna feel it? Fine."
Then he grabs your ankles, throws your legs over his shoulders, and starts slamming into you — hard. Brutal. Loud. Your headboard slams the wall. Your back arches clean off the mattress as your moans break into screams.
"Still don’t feel it? I’ll fuck you til it hurts."
And he does. He doesn’t slow down. Doesn’t give you room to speak. Just fucks you like he’s trying to brand you from the inside out, until you’re crying, shaking, body twitching with every thrust.
He cums deep, fills you to the brim, and watches your wrecked expression with a low, filthy groan.
"Bet you’ll never ask that again, huh?"
SUKUNA halts. Looks at you.
"What did you just say?"
His cock’s stretching you open, thick and heavy, and you’re already panting — but your eyes glitter with mischief, and you whisper it again:
"Is it in yet?"
You don’t even have time to blink before his hand is around your throat and he’s burying himself to the hilt in one merciless thrust.
You scream. He groans. And then he starts fucking you like he’s furious.
"Not in yet? How about now, woman?"
His cock pistons in and out, brutal and unforgiving, and your body gives under him — all twitching muscles and helpless moans. You try to grab him, to anchor yourself, but he shoves your wrists down and just keeps driving into you, laughing when your voice breaks into sobs.
"Still got jokes, huh? Still wanna be a brat?"
He doesn’t stop until he’s cumming inside, growling like an animal, watching it leak out of you with a dark, satisfied smirk.
"Next time you say that shit, I’ll fuck your mouth instead."

cw: fluff. talk of marriage.
“Hey, when do you want to get married?”
Luffy’s simple question, asked out of the blue on a sunny and clear Sunday afternoon at the pier of the newest island you’ve washed up ashore, completely stops you in your tracks, abruptly enough that you practically stumble with interrupted momentum. He takes this in stride, stopping next to you with far more grace; his free hand, not the one that has let ice cream atop a cone drip onto his wrist, holds on to the back of your shirt just enough to keep you from hitting the ground, and helps you right yourself.
“You okay?” he asks.
Your mouth opens and closes in surprise for a split second, but you nod quickly before buying time to respond with a bite of your waffle. Luffy waits patiently, and his expression is difficult to read even for you; there’s no typical smile on his face but he doesn’t seem upset, just patient, perhaps pensive even.
Luffy’s always oddly patient despite himself, when it comes to you.
“I’m fine,” you say after two rapid chews and a swallow. You resume your pace, trying to keep yourself from looking at him. “What do you mean, marriage?”
Luffy isn’t following you; rather he’s planted in place, and you make it four steps before you turn to look at him, your heart beginning to thump just a little harder in your chest. The ice cream continues to drip but he doesn’t do anything about it - rather he keeps his gaze focused on you for a moment.
“You don’t want to get married?” he asks.
The statement is said somewhere between a question and a statement and it makes your stomach turn.
Your relationship with Luffy is confusing.
You can’t deny that he cares about you, but caring is so natural to Luffy that you might as well declare that the sky is blue in the same sentence, or that Luffy plans to be the freest man in the world.
… and therein lies the issue.
You find yourself looking around before you answer, even though no one in this bustling crowd would ever bother to interrupt your conversation, the two of you blending in as naturally as can be despite being wanted (seriously unevenly so, but both with bounties nonetheless). The notorious straw hat remains hidden on Luffy’s person, layered below a light windbreaker and you’ve long since ditched the glasses your wanted person demonstrates you wearing, the Clark Kent-Superman effect surprisingly effective.
For now the two of you are just two lovers, on a date, that may have just turned the tiniest bit uncertain.
“I-It’s not that I don’t want to get married, I’m just surprised you do,” you finally admit.
Luffy tilts his head for a moment. You grimace, but don’t say more, and he finally remembers that he’s a grown man with 3 scoops of ice cream balanced precariously on a cone and dripping onto the boardwalk and practically swallows the entire snack whole, before looking at you.
His expression remains serious despite how silly he is, and a small part of you wants to laugh, but it’s drowned out by the very loud realization that Luffy seriously plans to marry you.
“Why wouldn’t I want to?” he asks.
He takes a few bites of the remaining cone and starts walking anew. You fall into step, retracing the path of your conversation before now to see when and why he might come up with this question.
Your date started off at a buffet (which by the look on the owner’s face, he may have considered banning you, or really Luffy, from every returning); your next move was to play carnival games which Luffy was surprisingly terrible at, and desperate to cheat, stopped only by your equally desperate pleas; after that was window shopping, for candy and trinkets, and then you’d continued to walk until you passed by the ice cream seller and then-
Window shopping. You backtrack.
Your eyes had lingered too long on a towering and particularly elaborate white dress, posted proudly at the front of a bridal shop, paired with ornate, shimmering jewelry at the neckline and dangling from the mannequin’s ears. It was the type of dress that seemed completely out of place at this venue, elegant but attention-grabbing; you’d only looked for a moment, then looked away, but for a second, you considered that it was beautiful; perhaps you saw yourself in that dress for a moment, and just as quickly that thought had dissipated from your mind. A fleeting thought of marrying your captain, gone with the wind.
But here you were minutes later, and Luffy had caught on to you.
Luffy is now asking you why you are surprised he wants to get married.
And most importantly, married to you.
“Why would you, Luffy?” you ask.
He frowns.
“I asked you first.”
Why wouldn’t he marry you?
“Luffy, isn’t your goal to be the freest man in the world?” you ask him, taking another bite of your waffle. There isn’t much left, three bites tops, and then you’ll have nothing to help you pretend this conversation isn’t tearing at the soft of your soul.
Luffy’s cone is gone by now, and you hand him a wet wipe, from a packet you carried in your jacket pocket, which he looks at for a moment, but takes anyway to clean his hands.
“Yeah.”
He hasn’t made whatever connection you’re making, and his tone communicates that.
“But what does that have to do with marrying you?”
You bite your lower lip slightly.
“Ever heard of the old ‘ball and chain’ analogy?”
“Yeah, and it’s stupid,” he replies. You stop for a moment in your walk, and find yourself chuckling.
“What part is stupid?”
Luffy seems almost confused that you’re asking. His hands raise above his head and rest behind neck as you continue your stroll, a relaxed position.
“Don’t get married if you think the person is holding you back.”
You nod. A moment pauses then you stop again. He stops too, and glances at you.
“I don’t want to hold you back, Luffy.”
It’s a surprisingly difficult thing to say out loud, you find, a soft sigh added to the statement. There’s catharsis in the words hanging in the air, the verbalization of your tenuous entanglement with your lover first, captain second.
“You wouldn’t be able to. I’d always want you with me. That’s why I’m asking.”
He stops again, and turns to face you, asking the question again.
“If you don’t want to-”
Too eager perhaps, you cut him off, your heart pounding in your chest.
“Yes, I do, I just…” you trail off, and he’s still frowning, and you wonder why you’re so complicated in your emotions, but he’s far more decisive than you are, and it’s what you love so much about him.
“If so, then just tell me. When do you want to get married? Or where?”
You take a deep breath, cupping your face in his hands for a moment as you settle yourself, eyes closing gently as you think.
You want to marry him. He wants to marry you. You’re not a liability, he wants you there with him.
You say it again to yourself two times over.
Centered by your feet on the ground and your palms holding the man you love, who loves you just as fervently.
“Let me think about it, Luffy,” you ask.
Your eyes open, and he’s staring at you, and is unreadable, but you tip forward and peck him on the lips to reassure him.
“I want it to be grand.”
Luffy finally smiles that smile that rivals the sun, the moon and the stars, before he kisses you again.
“Whatever you want!”
Your hands link again.
Another moment passes, and you stop once more, then whip your head around to look at him.
“Wait, Luffy, this better not be how you propose to me.”
He looks taken aback for a second, but then grins widely, letting out a laugh.
“No, it isn’t.”
His fingers interlace more tightly with yours and he laughs a little louder this time, but you can tell the laugh is partially for him more than for you.
“It’s just nice to know that you’ll definitely say yes.”
