In Regards to OSAs Worthlessness and the need for better parenting and psychological therapy to resolve this issue…

TLDR Part: The issue lies not in the hands of creators that take the precautions to properly label, mark and safeguard their art, but in the hands of irresponsible parents, greedy and frankly stupid politicians and corporations, and religious folks in psudeochristian religions that refuse to admit they have more issues than spiritual psychosis and a fetishism for appropriation.

This whole instance with KOSA like bills being passed got me thinking about the reasons why these laws are ineffective: 1a: it’s not going to prevent children from ultimately accessing it. If their parents legally have access, they are still going to access it.

1b. The fault isn’t on the children, it’s on the parents for: a. Not putting their tablets, phones, and laptops out of reach and access b. Not reading and listening to artists when say say their pages are not “family friendly” c. Not setting up proper parental locks on devices

d. not taking the time to do the research on child friendly apps and alternatives e. deciding to have children they know they can not mentally and physically care for to appease people who do not mentally, emotionally and physically care about them f. not doing anything productive with their kids

A lot of those issues would be resolved if the parents took the right steps and research to ensure their child didn’t get easy access to that content and actually spent time with them to discuss internet safety and to do more activities with them than using devices as baby sitters.

2a. Most of the folks that physically commit crimes like rape, sexual assault, incest, pedophilia, zoophilia, so on, have pre-existing mental health issues due to sexual trauma, and, physical, psychological, spiritual, emotional and sexual abuse. These people had issues that they refused to resolve and rather let these issues get out of control to the point of resorting to violence, greed and stupidity.

2b. Those issues would be best resolved if those individuals were forced to go to counseling and psychological therapy.

3a. The people pushing these laws forwards, are, themselves, guilty of these acts due to the appropriation of religion and politics as a point of contention. They are involved with religions and political groups that support these actions and ideals and rather push the blame on those not physically committing these acts to save face for their atrocities rather than take responsibility out of cowardice.

3b. The only way that could be resolved is with jail time, therapy and admitting guilt. But that’s easier said than done.

In the end, it’s going to be bypassed by very smart people and laws like this proved ineffective in the past. The people who need to better are so-called parents, politicians, companies, social media companies and individuals using mature content or artistic content as an excuse to not get mental help for their apparent issues regarding past trauma and psychosis’.

“But how do we do that?”

Again, parents need to:

-Research alternatives to tablets, gaming devices and smartphones for children (such as leapfrog tablets, toy versions of smartphones and tablets, swipe pads (a toy drawing tablet that erases with a button press, portable DVD players)

-Research child friendly apps and computer software (Jumpstart, Reader Rabbit, Educational apps, etc.), age appropriate DVD’s (educational informational to animation), and calming programming on TV that encourages them to be calmer

-Keep your tablets, smart devices, controllers and other devices out of reach of children. If necessary, download the age appropriate apps and videos directly to your child’s device, delete the internet server and YouTube from their device, disable the wallet service from their device as well

-For children under 5, do more hands on activities for 15 minutes a day (this can include scribbling, story telling, ball passing, etc. to encourage gross motor skill development, speech development, problem solving skills, and early STEAM (Science, Technology, English, Arts and Mathematics) learning).

-For those from the age of 5-10, focus on educational informational content for television and online content with SUPERVISION

-If they are old enough for a phone for contact, give them a flip phone, not a smartphone! Most times, giving them a smartphone can be an expensive mistake and big distraction. Burner Flip phones are cheaper and easier to replace if damaged

-At the Age of 13, educate you child on internet and social media safety! This includes knowing red flags in online interactions, identifying pedophiles/zoophiles/child and teen groomers/cyberharassment/cyberbullying/ threats, blocking inappropriate content (such as NSFW and controversial content), and informing your parents if there are folks threatening you online

-Keep in mind, if a child is intentionally looking up mature content, sit down and talk to them about said content and why said content is not age appropriate until they reach the age of 18.

-if a child displays symptoms and signs of emotional, psychological, sexual, spiritual, physical and social traumas from bullying, and rape, seek professional mental and medical help. It does not make someone weaker or stupid and actually helps them avoid damaging addictions as a means of coping

Social media sites need to:

-Offer better labeling systems for sensitive and mature content

-Offer mature content accounts a password protected account that is invite only (this is cheaper and more effective means of preventing younger users from accessing mature content).

-redirect younger users to more age appropriate pages and content (again, this is a cheaper alternative than penalizing mature accounts)

-offer an accurate in depth online resource guide for parents and teens using social media for the first time

Legal wise:

-laws need to be passed encouraging parents to spend more time with children under the age 5, teach their children at the age of 13 about online safety, and take online safety courses.

-Laws need to be passed to encourage social media companies to offer resources for online safety for new users, to enforce invite only and password protected mature account pages and sites, and to enforce strict rules related to *pedophilic/zoophilic/sexual assault/rape/incestuous/cyberhassment/cyberbullying content involving actual humans)

*pedophilic meaning in specifics, sexual relations between an adult and physical child/teenager (both in real world and fictional aspects, and in respect to physical appearance and biological age, not chronological age). This can include conversations between an adult and minor indicating sexual interest, the request of sexts and nude images, invites to an address for unspecified reasons, so on.

*zoophilic meaning in specifics to sexual relations between humans and animals, without consent, in both physical and fictional settings

*incestuous meaning in specifics to non-historical examples of parents and children, brothers and sisters, and direct cousins having sexual relations both consensually and non consensually

*sexual assault and rape in relation to the sexual and physical harm of adults, people of color, and other individuals with dubious and no consent for the intent to harm, berate, and threaten individuals

*cyberbullying/harassment in relation to threats of intentional harm and violence to individuals, property and land for sake of revenge, retaliation, and destruction to scare and put down those that disagree with them and their intentions

That and there is seldom terrible art, only terrible artists. Remember that even the most terrible people in history were great artists who used their talents and gifts to tear others down and berate those they saw as lessers. The terms “Great art motivates those who are inspired by it” and “Art can also cause harm to those it intends to destroy” can exist at the same time.

What fascists also won’t tell you is that they don’t see art as desirable because it’s a form of emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and psychological expression that anyone can express (something fascists hate because they were raised under conservative values, ideals, principles, beliefs, morals, customs, and cultures that taught them that thinking outside the box, being accepting of all, showing any emotions, and creativity were immoral, showed weakness and made one look pathetic, and that seeking help for the trauma they were dealt in order to be forced into compliance is a show of weakness).

The most terrible people in history only sought to use their creativity to instill fear, shame and anger in its victims (most often those they targeted for their regimes to attack (often times people who weren’t white, male, straight, strong, mentally and physically able bodied, beautiful/handsome, part of a Christian denomination, wealthy, and compliant).

However, there were equally as talented and very kind hearted artists that suffered for their talents because of close minded, greedy, violent and ignorant people who only sought to benefit from their hard work than allow them to shine. Most times these artists dealt with psychological, spiritual, emotional and physical traumas from those who wished to use their talents for malignant purposes and were refused in turn.
