Near the end of November, I was involved in a car accident with my motorbike. On the highway, a car swerved into my lane, forcing me to move out of the way. At that moment, another car passed me on the left, and we hit each other. My motorbike has serious damage and the costs are about €900, something I do not have. I am very lucky to live in a country where my healthcare is covered, because I broke my foot during the process as well. However, I do not have any information about the other cars involved, so I cannot hold them accountable. I would really appreciate it if you could donate something to my PayPal, even if you only have €1 to spare I would thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would also be able to sell my artwork (shown on my Instagram @nikkisartstuff ) or sell prints of my edits or cosplay (shown on here and on my Instagram @stxr.light ) Even a reblog would be appreciated, thank you so much in advance <3 I would not ask this if I did not seriously need it

She patted his shoulder gently. "Oh yes, that you do.." then she thought again, before shrugging. "I really can't remember, so whatever it was, it can't have been important, so I can make new plans now" the Captain smiled.

Tauriel let Elydir speak for a bit, not replying to her question yet cause she didn't really know why actually, she just didn't really enjoy fighting that much. She was however very impressed by what Ely had accomplished in her life. "I'm very proud that you did. As for my faith, I don't know, I guess I'd just much rather be sitting in a tree staring at the stars, peacefully, without the need to carry a weapon.. But the world isn't like that sadly."

Tauriel chuckled softly. “Maybe when I have reached your age I could be that good, but I doubt I’ll ever become that good..” she didn’t have much hope for her fighting skills and wondered what kind of jobs there were in the Mirkwood realm besides fighting.

Still, she tried her best and kept swinging her sword a bit, practising her movements. “However, I would love to attempt to beat you one day”

“My age? Am I that old, then?” she gasped, acting as if she was offended, but chuckled a moment later. “Trust me, you will reach my age and you will be amazing and, hopefully, you’ll be captain by then. I sense you have little faith to yourself, though… Why is that?” she asked softly.

Watching her, she noticed improvement already. “You’re always welcome to try, until you beat the master and became that yourself. That’s what my master used to say, in fighting. And that I did”

"I am glad that Dale is restored. It is good to have new allies again and to have a beautiful city out there again."

She paused for a second, thinking of how to phrase this. After a moment, she said.

“I want you to send word to Radagast the wizard, before then trusting me to complete this mission with our forces and come back to you after I’ve rid the forest of these foul creatures..”

She smiled innocently, twirling a strand of her fiery hair between her fingers. “I guess not, that does make me fairly powerful, does it not?” She walked over to him, letting her hand fall from her hair. “Commanding both you and your army, how does that make you feel~?” She purred.

Tauriel let out a soft sigh when the prince decided this conversation was over. She didn't quite know how to make Legolas see, but hopefully he would one day. "I guess we do, though I've quite forgotten what I came this way for, it was definitely not for watching you fall out a tree.."

Tauriel was listening to him with a slightly sad feeling, though she was also surprised that she got to hear this at all. Judging by Thranduil's reaction, he too hadn't expected to share this much. She lowered her head slightly and thought for a moment before answering.

"My lord, with all due respect, you do not have to go through it alone. It is true that we cannot take your sorrows from you, but we can try to support and help you as you deal with them.. The forest will not forever be this dark, we will defeat the darkness.."

Thranduil sat with his hands folded neatly onto his lap, his eyes fixed upon his fingers and the many rings that adorned them. It had been a trialing time to say the least, and though he would not admit it, Thranduil hardly recognized himself.

“I know,” He said calmly, looking at her then, his face troubled. “I know, and I am sorry.”

After another long council meeting and an hour later, Elydir was done with paperwork and had a moment to herself. She walked to the training yards, hoping that seeing elves practice would fill her with excitement after such a boring morning.

She noticed her redhead friend, Tauriel. How happy Ely was, that they were friends, despite age difference or anything else. Tauriel was a friend Elydir appreciated and needed in her life. She sat on a wooden bench, watching her practice without interrupting her… yet.

Since Tauriel had been in Thranduil’s care, she had been taught to fight with blade and bow. She learned fast with daggers, slightly slower with bow and arrow, and the slowest with a sword, for it did not interest her as much.

Today, she was practicing with a sword, since she knew she had to be skilled with everything, in case her favoured weapons weren’t available. She swung her blade at training dummies with as much concentration as she could muster, trying her best, though her technique wasn’t perfect.

Elydir took one of her daggers, that she carried with her usually, and calculated for a moment. The distance, her target, the strength it’d take… With a precise throw, her small throwing knife passed right next to Tauriel’s face and hit the training dummy’s head.

“You need to equally share your weight on your feet” she called. “Swords are harder than daggers, it takes a steady pose, so you can focus on your arms” standing, she walked to her friend slowly. “Trust me, I wield a sword and a short blade at the same time, it takes a bit of practice to find the right balance of the weapon and your body. It needs to be a part of you. An extension of your own arm”

Lost in concentration, the dagger threw her off guard, and a sharp gasp escaped the youngsters mouth, dropping her sword at the same time. She looked around in bewilderment to see who had thrown that beautiful dagger.

“Ah, it was you,” she chuckled softly, though a blush formed on her cheeks as she picked up her sword and listened to her advice, feeling a little stupid for not knowing all these things. She moved into a different position and held her sword at a different angle. “I don’t like swords, they’re heavy and long.. Is this better though?”

“Hello Tauriel” Elydir greeted her. She fixed her legs a bit, the position wasn’t bad, but she had to find the balance herself. She then lifter her elbow a bit. “I know, my friend, it’s weird to fight with a weapon you are not fond of, but it’s a process you need to go through. Keeping your elbows higher will help, but not too high, or else you’ll expose your sides” she added.
