Hello everyone I wanted to send a quick message about shop updates and some commission updates!

So first of all I will be pausing my shop until I move!

It took me a bit of time to decide, but I have sent out last preorder's packages and they should be home soon, but if I commit to another preorder I want to confirm packages won't be sent to a return address I can no longer access (just in case anything happens in USPS's system).

I didn't realize how quickly my move was on my schedule so I would like to make sure everyone's package is safe! (+ tariffs scare as well. 🙃) I will give a better update once I settle in to my new place!

And with that I am now doing discounted commissions for Full color commissions, so if you would still like to support me in my move that would mean so much! Thank you all for your kindness and support! 💙

omg ah! tysm for checking!! i didn't expect so many ppl to reach out and ask, honestly I have been fighting if I can do another round because I am a U.S based artist, and with the increasing tarriffs from this wack-ass leadership, I'm not sure how to go about international shipping. :( I am going to look into this the next few days to see if it's something I can handle. I am thinking if I do open them, I'm doing a 2 week preorder, so a bit shorter than the last round, but if I can send these out quicker it may be better! I will post something in the next 2-3 days to determine what I am deciding fully, sorry this isn't the best response but I have been struggling what to do, its a huge pain right when I wanted to start up my own working shop 😭

Shop update: T-shirts should have arrived or may be arriving in the next few days to everyone who ordered!! And I will be sending out keychains this friday!!! As for reopening my shop I may have an update in May, but for now I will be on pause to make new block prints and prep other projects I have planned! part of the fun of the original alien is the horror of the nostromo itself imo. it’s a cell of corporate greed ferrying narrowly-trained workers across barren space. it’s huge and yet claustrophobic, cockpits crammed with machinery giving way to yawning berths dripping chains and water. the supercomputer is named mother in a stroke of human anthropomorphization, but instead of providing comfort or protection, it’s only a courier between its creator and its wailing brood. ripley yells “mother! mother!” at a matronly-voiced computer that speaks calmly over her helplessness. the ship is full of endless details and patterns and unlabeled buttons and dials the audience can’t entirely make sense of; to do anything on the ship is a rigorous, technical process, and we must depend on the characters to know it. the internal mechanics of the ship are so alien that a literal alien can hide among the bits and bobs and not be noticed. it’s great.
