Hiiii, good morning, day, afternoon, evening or night! My name is Casey, welcome to the blog! Although I’ve got all sorts of interests, I’m generally going to post about Cookie Run and Project Sekai/Vocaloid.

I look away for two seconds and suddenly we’re shipping Tumblr x Ao3. And I am all for it.

Currently planning a fic between them, but I am about to go away for a week so here’s my brainrotted idea for their relationship in case I don’t get to write it:

So obviously they’ve been friends for a long time, and although they’ve made jokes about getting together, it never really seemed like a possibility. Still, they both went to dashcon, spending longer than normal in the ballpit. That’s when Tumblr first properly fell for them. After getting home, Tumblr starts fantasising and drawing them with Ao3, becoming almost obsessed with the idea.

However, tragedy strikes when they get a message from Ao3, finding out they’re sick. Although Ao3 reassures them that this happens all the time and they’ll be ok, they’re out for longer than normal. During their recovery, Tumblr bursts into their house, crying that they need them and refuse to leave their side until they’re better. Eventually Ao3 recovers, which is when Tumblr finally asks them if they want to date. Ao3 answers yes.

The news gets out quickly, and many websites are happy to hear about the relationship, eg Reddit and Fanfiction.net. Despite the excitement, there’s someone still left sad: Twitter. Twitter was dating Tumblr for ages, but they broke up after never getting to truely be themselves and becoming a greyed out version due to their evil dad, who is obviously a metaphor for Elon Musk. (also Twitter is a transfem but they’re not allowed to show it)

also headcannon designs for them as human: both somewhat genderfluid if it was multiplied by 100, but Tumblr is a bit more masc presenting, often wearing a suit, whereas Ao3 is more fem, wearing cottagecore inspired outfits. They both have autism.

So I have this complete obsession with the vivid bad squad cover of brain revolution girl. It’s not even my favourite song at all, but I guess I’ve just known the maretu song for a while, and the vbs cover has been in the game for a bit, so I’m often on spotify going “wow I love brain revolution girl, I wish I could listen to the vbs cover” but I can’t, because it’s not on Spotify. I would try to listen to it via podcast form, but that gets taken down pretty quickly.

So I started getting a little obsessed. I would check the VBS album 3 release date often, and I started writing it in my calendars as an important date. And every morning for the past week I keep waking up, my first thought being “one day closer to VBS brain revolution girl cover being on Spotify”

Today is a very special day my friends. The full version of Vivid BAD SQUAD’s cover of Brain Revolution Girl by MARETU is finally out on Spotify. And I am nothing less than ecstatic.
