Hey so im gonna be real, im losing interest in this fandom. I’m aware that i came late, and besides that it wasn’t even the drama that made me not motivated. I’ve enjoyed the content since at least mid-2021, before even joining the online community, but I think it’s just dying out naturally.

And that’s ok.

This fandom, despite its problematic nature, has played a role in my life since middle school and I cannot thank it enough for happening. It inspired me to create my own worlds, my own OCs, and discover my own identity.

I will not be deleting this blog, though it was short lived I want to be able to look back at these moments in my life.

Under this pinned post will be my art WIPs that I spent a long time on, but never had the motivation to finish.

I headcanon that zombification is a disease that the Overworld has become immune to over the centuries, but due to the Nether’s extreme heat and closed ecosystem, Piglin are very susceptible to catching the virus.

When a Piglin first enters the Overworld, there is a 50/50 chance of them catching the disease, though after they have it once they can’t catch it again—-Piglins did survive by adapting, after all.

Unlike villagers—-or, just regular people in this world—-Piglin cannot be cured after full zombification, but the process can be stopped with a lot of care and patience.

Say that after a certain point in the disease, the infected can only be healed by potions of harming—-as undead mobs would—-and healing potions do no more than speed up the process. So it’s a very slippery slope to heal a Piglin that far into decay.

That all being said, c!Tubbo and c!Ranboo had no clue about any of it.

Piglins—-as most species from other realms—-are private about their culture and biology. Beeduo had not a damn clue how to treat zombification on a Piglin, and a toddler one at that.

Michael was already decently far into the decay when they found him; one eye dead-black and decaying the skin around it.

At this point in the timeline, Technoblade didn’t even know of Michael’s existence, so they couldn’t ask him for help.

Obviously they tried to use the same treatments as you would a villager—- but didn’t know what potions to use and ended up harming him further. This would later result in Michael having an allergy against all healing potions, and permanently blurry vision in his right eye from where they tried to treat it.

Before they could stop the rot, it spread to one of his legs, forever fucking up the nerves.

Eventually, after much stress, pain, and trial and error, they cure his infection. Woo hoo!

Until they realize Michael will never walk properly again, and is legally blind in an eye, with severe scarring in several places. He has to use a cane to balance properly, and has several prosthetic fingers from where they just couldn’t be saved.

Even though he’s perfectly healthy by his tweens, Tubbo can’t help but look at his boy with guilt.
