So here's a silly story;

Since getting into wrestling I like to pay attention to how it's portrayed in TV shows. Wrestling centered episodes are so common in cartoons and sitcoms but once you actually get into wrestling you start to pay attention to how accurate the portrayals are. And I try not to get too "um actually..." About these when I watch em cause whatever, most of them are in animated shows that are gonna exaggerate a lot of things anyways because animation.

BUT THEN IN COMES THE 2017 DUCKTALES REBOOT WITH THE MOST ACCURATE PORTRAYAL OF WRESTLING I'VE SEEN IN A CARTOON.

They discussed Face/Heel dynamics, the importance of a good commentary team, THEY ANIMATED THEM DOING LEGIT MOVES ACCURATELY!!! It was such a fun episode to watch as a wrestling fan and I bet you whatever wrestling fan(s) in the crew got to write/board that episode felt the same.

Wow it's been a minute. So. Life update;

Filmmaking is hell. This film is due on Tuesday; I am spending hours upon hours sitting at my computer to finish this damn film so I can graduate. So needless to say I haven't been writing much.

On the other hand there was a long period of time at the start of the year where I just wasn't watching wrestling, but kept telling myself I'd catch up so I didn't even engage w the community at all.

Now I'm back to regularly watching but film grind is very much still my number one priority.

Other news; yes! I am graduating!!! A lot of life changes will follow after including applying for a work visa but I just want to finish this film man. I also have... so many Transformers figures now it's not even funny. But I've managed to find some major Holy Grails of mine for the collection. I have tons of fun summer plans, I'm excited about the future even if I'm also scared shitless.

Idk how much of those Summer plans will include fanfiction. Fanfic for me has been a hobby to not burnout from art. Art and animation will forever be my number one but after the past year Idk how much art I'll want to draw for at least a month. Or maybe I'll go crazy and draw more than ever. Maybe I'll write more of my AEW AUs. Or finish my Transformers fic draft! I don't know. All I know is I can see the finish line but I'm just not ready to celebrate just yet.

Anyways just wanted to post an update for my moots. Or even just for the sake of writing out some thoughts. Thanks if you've read this far.

In case you haven't seen it, Transformers One Starscream from Blokees might be the first seriously accurate Starscream we get from TFO, and apparently includes a small Megatron tank ...for...reasons?
