Here's a drawing from a sculpture, Bust of a Young Man, by Aimé-Jules Dalou, at The Art Institute of Chicago. Originally, I was planning on exaggerating proportions, but steered away. Although, I improvised a bit on the hair to add more lines and definition.

Earlier this year we went to Mount Horeb, Wisconsin to check out their troll statues. Here's a sketch from our souvenir, a hand carved troll from Norway. I love the personality of this one!
