Are you a chicken? Because you look eggcellent.
(sfw)
Hawks (Takami Keigo) x reader
Word count: 1088
You decide to visit a new coffee shop, only to find a bad pick-up line written on your cup.
It’s a coffee shop au baby. A short fic with cheesy n’ bad pick-up lines (that may or may not be chicken-related) from the man himself.
Enjoy!
Ao3
-
This was definitely not what you were expecting from your first visit.
There you stood on the busy sidewalk, looking dumbfounded at what was scribbled in black ink on the side of your coffee cup.
“Are you a chicken? Because you look eggcellent ;)”
With your brows quirked, and mouth slightly agape, you murmured a short, “What the fuck?” under your breath.
Never in your years of frequenting different coffee shops has someone written you a damn pick-up line, and a terrible one at that. This has to be a joke, right? Surely, no one would actually try to flirt on a freaking coffee cup. Yeah, no way, it has to be a joke.
Giving it a read-over once more, you found the corner of your mouth involuntarily twitching into a half-smile. Alright, you’ll admit, it was kind of funny.
Bringing the opening on the top of the lid to your lips, you took a sip, inhaling the nutty scent. You gave a content hum, it was perfect, and made a mental note to go there again soon.
It wasn’t until someone pushed past your shoulder, rather roughly, that you realized you probably shouldn’t stand right smack in the middle of a sidewalk filled with hurrying people.
Relishing in the flavor as you gulped it down, you glanced at the coffee shop across the street, which you had just exited minutes prior, and resumed on your path home.
“Y/N!” a deep voice calls out, signalling the completion of your order.
You looked up from where you were seated in a back corner, tucked away and out of sight from where the drinks were served. Gathering your laptop from the table in front of you, you slipped it into your bag and made the short journey around the corner to grab your drink.
As you turned the corner, your phone started buzzing and looking at who it was, you pressed the answer button and brought it to your ear.
“Hey dad,” was all you said as you snatched up your drink. While you waited a moment for him to reply, you flicked your eyes up and made brief eye contact with one of the baristas behind the counter, golden eyes locking with yours.
“Yeah, I’m doing fine, how about you?” The man behind the golden eyes flashed a quick smile, along with a wink, which you found odd but brushed off, before breaking eye contact and continuing with his work.
While making your way home, and after catching up with your dad, you remembered what had happened on your previous visit there a few days prior. Smiling to yourself, you brought the cup level with your eyes, and scanned the surface of it for any writing that wasn’t your name.
You weren’t expecting to actually find some.
“If you were a chicken, you’d be impeccable”, along with what you assumed was a poorly drawn chicken head, was sprawled out on the side of your cup in the same messy handwriting as before.
You nearly spit out your drink in shock, all the while getting weird looks from the few who witnessed your reaction as they passed. Did you read that right? And most of all, what the fuck is up with this person and chickens?
Okay, now you’re slowly convincing yourself that maybe this whole thing wasn’t a joke, and that someone was actually flirting with you on a coffee cup. But there’s another part of you that’s saying this was way too unusual to be anything but a joke, because who in the world uses chicken pick-up lines and expects them to work? Whatever the case, they are so not working on you. Nope, not in the slightest.
A faint blush barely krept up on your cheeks as you shook your head. All you knew was that the next time you were there, you were going to find the person responsible.
You’re back at the same coffee shop for the third time this week, so what? You were determined to find out who was leaving you those damn chicken pick-up lines.
You made sure to sit at a table that had a good view of the station where the drinks were served, so you could get a good look at the person as they served yours.
Trying to make yourself seem as inconspicuous as possible, you had your laptop opened on the table in front of you, occasionally sneaking glances over the top of the screen at the baristas behind the counter.
After a few minutes of ‘working’ on your laptop and glancing over the screen, you were met with the same golden eyes boring into yours, but this time, they didn’t look away. Instead, you were the one to break eye contact, finding comfort in bringing your gaze back to the screen in front of you.
It’s the same guy from last time. You could still see him out of the corner of your vision, making his way over to the serving station, drink in hand.
“Y/N!” a familiar voice calls out.
You jumped in your seat and looked up, meeting his gaze once again as you realized that he was the one serving your drinks, and, oh god, he was actually attractive, really attractive.
A blush began spreading across your cheeks and you quickly broke eye contact once again, going to fit your laptop in your bag. Taking a deep breath, you swiftly give one more glance towards the serving station, only to realize that he was still standing there.
He gave you a smile, one that only made you blush harder, and motioned with his hands towards your drink, “Well, you gonna come get it?”
You silently cursed at yourself for even seeking out this situation, letting out a sigh as you slowly stood up. You stalked over to the counter where he stood, feeling his keen gaze on you throughout.
Suddenly feeling a burst in your own confidence, you questioned him as you came close, “Am I gonna find a chicken pick-up line on this one too?”
He smirked and placed one hand on the counter, leaning against it, “Nope. This one’s different, and it gets specially delivered straight from me.”
“Oh yeah?” you smiled a quirked a brow, also leaning in, “Hit me with it.”
He lightly chuckled and closed his eyes for a moment, only to open them and give you a playful stare.
“Can you tell me what an attractive and funny man like me is doing without your number?”

Hi, I was wondering if you could do something with bakugou where he tries to show affection to his s/o but he kinda fails because he's Katsuki Bakuhoe? Love ur armin snuggle fic btw!
Headcannons for when Bakugou tries to love on you...and fails
A/N: Thanks for the compliment, I didn’t think that Armin fic was gonna do as well as it did! I wrote headcannons with some scenarios sprinkled in. I’m sorry if you wanted a short fic, if you did you can just ask again! I don’t mind🥰
Warnings: Swearing...and bakugou.
Tumblr media
- Bakugou has never been to keen on the idea of being in a relationship. Giving someone HIS precious attention gets in the way of his goal of being the No.1 hero. He thinks it’s a waste of his time
.-when you came around however, he started to rethink his outlook. You were so beautiful and perfect, even he was at soft with you, not that he would ever show it or tell anyone.
-So when he finally grew into the idea of a relationship, nothing could stop him from having what’s his, that means you. So he asked- no DEMANDED- you go on a date with him. It was very scary, I wouldn’t have called it a teen movie moment
.-After you too made it official, He was terrible at first. He treated you like he treated everyone else, with the exception of being able to touch him and be in his presence without him finding you annoying. Lucky you.
- But then, the whole dorm decided to watch a romance movie (Don’t ask, it was Denki’s and Mina’s idea) and he realized something. He wasn’t treating you right.-At the end of said movie, the women left the man because he grew cold and stand-offish against her and she wouldn’t settle for less. Would you...would you leave him if he continued to be...Bakugou?
-he wanted to deny his insecurities, and say you wouldn’t leave HIM of all people. But after going on a date with you-and barely holding hands- He caught sight of another couple on a date and realized how happy they were. He turned back to you and noticed your small smile wasn’t as wide as it should be
.-The name calling was the first to go.
-“Hey.....baby”
-“Baby? What happened to dumbass and shitty women?”
-“SHUT THE HELL UP AND ACCEPT MY AFFECTION....Honey.”
- He tried to show you more public affection. Holding your hand fully, but then having to let go because he was sweating to much (which is a no-no of Bakugou). He tried to hug you more, but when he did it in public, the OTHERS also demanded hugs
-“Heeeey Bakubro, can I have one too?”
-“SCREW OFF SHITTY HAIR! THIS IS FOR (Y/N) ONLY!” however, even then it’s on a thin leash.
-He tried kissing you more often, but ended up being too intense and basically mashing you teeth together and shoving his tongue down your throat at the most unexpected times.
-He actually did his hair for some of your dates, trying to make a good impression. You make fun of him, of course
.-“You look ridiculous.”
-“Oi! Shut the hell up! You’re lucky I’m even doing this for you!” He actually makes an attempt not to scream as loud(it doesn’t last long) the hair didn’t stick ether
.-The only thing he does and actually fully enjoys is cuddle time, though he would NEVER admit it. Watching you fall asleep on his chest it soothing and makes him feel love for you x10
.-Valentines day is a nightmare. Boxes of chocolate you ironically have an allergy too, flowers that symbolize hate, romance movies he makes you watch with him because they’re “romantic.” Seriously Bakugou, you don’t want to watch the titanic and neither does (Y/N). He did like the part where the boat sank though.
-He drags you to the beach in the middle of winter, for a romantic “walk on the beach.” He practically drags you out to the heated dorms to go
.-“ITS TOO COLD! ILL GET FROSTBITE ASSHOLE!”
-“THEN PUT ON A JACKET BEAUTIFUL DUMBASS!”-He’s genuinely trying his hardest to make you stay, not that you ever plan on leaving
.-He still attempts to make an effort to show you his love for you, even after you tell him he doesn’t have to go all out for you, you love normal bakugou who doesn’t try to be someone he’s not <3

Can I Call You Babe?
Kaminari x reader drabble
Word count: 660
Warnings: none
Tumblr media
"COME ON!! COME ON!!!!" Denki yelled at the television. You two were playing Mario Kart, like any other day. Most days after school you would hang out at his dorm and play some video games. Your friendship had rapidly grown since meeting at Yuuei, your personalities were so different, yet you two were like two peas in a pod.
Although, little did he know, ever since you first saw him you knew you had feelings towards him. He was that kind of boy you love, goofy and oblivious, but yet a flirt. The kind of boy most girls seem to find annoying. Though you thought those kinds were nothing but perfect in every way, shape, or form.
"ALMOST THERE!!!!" Denki exclaimed, trying to pass you before the finish line.
"I WON!!!!!!" You yelled, claiming another victory.
"AGAINNNN??? Ugh, You always win!" Denki said with a pout, slouching back into the couch.
"I'll be right back, I'm gonna go get us some snacks from the vending machine real quick." Denki said getting up from the couch.
"No, no I don't want you to waste your money I'll go get some." You said pushing him out of the way.
"No, Y/n, it's fine." He said, pushing you back.
"Ugh, just let me go get them." You said while trying to get around him.
"Y/n! It's fine, we're friends, let me just go get them!!!!" He said while opening the door and leaving.
You finally gave up on trying to argue with him. That word friends shattered your heart. You wanted to be more than friends, for sure, but you just couldn't find when to tell him, let alone how. You sank back into the couch, scrolling through instagram while waiting for him. A lump sat in your stomach.
"I'm back." Denki said with a handful of snacks, bursting through the door. You walked over to help him set them down.
"Okay, now it's time to beat you once and for all." He said throwing you a bag of chips.
"Let's see..." You said grabbing the controller.
"Okay, how about this, if I lose I have to buy all the snacks from now on, and if I win... You have to be my girlfriend for a week." Denki said while popping a chip into his mouth.
"W- w- w- wait... Your what?!" You practically jumped out of your seat at what you had heard.
"You heard me." He said while pressing start.
You knew you had to let him win, but not make it obvious, which would be hard.
A couple minutes into the race Denki yelled, "I win!!!!"
"But, it's not even over yet?!" you said still focusing on a game.
"According to me it is!!" He said, a smile growing onto his face. You sighed, you knew what he was doing, I mean of course you were a little bit too jolly inside, but you tried to mask your emotions. You couldn't let him know you liked him.
"Soooooo, does this mean I can call you babe now???" He said leaning in.
"Fine!" You said, throwing a pillow at him while trying to hide your massive rosy blush.
"Don't even try to hide your emotions, I know you like me!" He said while poking your nose.
"W- WHAT? You knew!???!!!" You said in shock, tensing up.
"I mean it was kinda obvious... Anyways..." He leaned in for a kiss. Stopping mid way, as he thought of something. A look of confusion spread onto your face.
"Wait! You can't be my girl friend if you don't have one of my hoodies." He said while jumping to his closet.
"Here, this is one of my favorites." He said while throwing it to you. You pulled it over your head.
"You look so cute." He said while pecking your lips, sitting you on his lap and handing you a controller.
okay now that was really cute! i hope u guys liked it,

What’s It Like In New York City?
Katsuki Bakugou x reader
Quirkless rock band au
Based off of the song, Hey There Delilah
Word count: 2913
Warnings: Slight alcohol use. Nothing to be worried about though.
Tumblr media
After a long day at university you decided you deserved a night out on the town. Although you had piles of homework to do, you decided to put that all aside and just relax and have a few drinks. You grabbed your big winter coat and stepped out of campus into the swirling cold winter outside. L Street Tavern was one of the closest bars to your campus, so you decided to settle down there. Plus, they always have live music there, even better.
After a short walk through the blistering cold air you had finally arrived at the historic bar. You noticed a flyer on the window it read,
  "Sex Bob Omb playing tonight."
You had never heard of them before. It was probably just some local band. You stepped through the bars creaking door and took a seat on one of the oak stools. There were only a few other people at the bar. Most of them were probably in their mid 40s or 50s. You had given them a slight wave when you sat down just to be friendly. They had waved back, but then quickly returned back to their conversations. You weren't really looking for people to talk to, you just wanted to relax after the stressful day.
After a couple of drinks you heard the tuning of a guitar in the corner. You looked over to see a couple people in the corner. They were dressed like classic teenage band members. Black jeans, skate shoes, a random t-shirt they found in the back of their closet. You examined each member. A spiky blond seemed to be the lead. He was tuning his guitar and had a microphone stood in front of him. Behind him was a short black haired girl behind a microphone. She seemed to be the backup singer. The last person was a crazy red haired boy at the drums. It seemed like your typical band that probably practices in the garage. You loved those types of bands. Something about them just seemed so raw and authentic.
A few moments later you jumped to the sound of the red hair banging his drum sticks together.
"ONE TWO THREE GO!" He yelled signaling the band to start.
You never really thought a band like this would be playing at a historic bar in the middle of a harsh Boston winter. But, bands really will play wherever they can nowadays. They have to try and get any recognition they can.
"This is the beginning of the song." The blond muttered into the microphone with his raspy voice. "I'm hearing voices, animal voices. The creme da la creme. the feminine abyss. And I'm reaching my threshold. Staring at the truth till i'm blind." He began lazily singing with the sound of a rough, badly tuned guitar.
The lyrics weren't too bad for just some random band. You actually thoroughly enjoyed the sound of such a band like this. You could see the the crazy red hair banging at the broken down set of drums releasing all of his anger. It made you giggle a bit.
"My body's stupid, stereo putrid. Spilling out music into raw sewage." The girl jumped into sing. She surprisingly had a pretty good voice, although it didn't really suit the vibe of the band.
"Reaching my threshold. Staring at the truth till I'm blind." They all sang together. They repeated the same verses a couple more times. When the song had ended you could tell they were all out of breath from the loud performance. They were panting like dogs on a hot summer day.
"WE ARE SEX BOB OMB!!!" The girl yelled out to the bar while raising her hands in the air.
"I hope you guys enjoyed, but we've lost all of our breath for tonight, peace." The blond said while walking into the back room. Most people started clapping and cheering, some people were booing them at the fact they only played one song, but you just returned to your bitter cold beer in front of you. The cold alcohol entering your stomach calmed you from your hard day.
A few moments later the band members took a seat at the bar near you. It seemed they just wanted a few drinks after that harsh performance.
"Miller Lite, please." The spiky blond said to the bar tender under his raspy tone.
"Same here." The other two members said. The bar tender poured the three drinks and slid them across the bar to them.
"You like the show?" The blond looked over and asked to you, as you sipped your cold drink.
"Yeah, wasn't expecting such a lame band to go this hard." You said looking over to him.
"Hey, we try our best to look professional here." He snapped back at you.
"I'm just teasing." You said focusing back on your drink.
"So, you from around here?" He said with his masculine tone.
"I go to university near here, but I'm originally from New York City." You said fiddling with the rim of your drink.
"The big apple, huh? Must've been rough living there." He responded.
"Not really..." You said taking a sip of your beer.
"We're from around here. Cambridge to be exact. We spend a lot of time over in Boston though. Trying to get a good gig." He explained while taking another sip of his Miller Lite.
"I'm sure you'll get a gig. You're pretty good." You said trying to sound nice.
"Thanks. Maybe you can come watch us here again sometime." He said passing you a crumpled piece of paper from his pocket with their schedule printed on it.
"Thanks, but I'm leaving the city for a few weeks to visit family back in New York. Maybe I'll see you after. My names y/n, by the way." You said looking into his bright crimson eyes while grabbing the schedule. You could see the disappointment in his eyes.
"Oh, well that's a downer. You must be pretty busy with school too..." He said trailing off.
"Damnit Bakugou, stop flirting with the poor girl." The red hair chipped in. The girl laughed along.
"Shut up you prick, at least she's not a whore. I'm not even flirting." He snapped at them while getting up to go to the bathroom.
After he had came back things were pretty quiet after the remark the red hair had made.
About a half hour later you decided you should start heading back to campus. It was 12:30 and you needed some rest.
"Hey, I'll try and come see your band when I come back." You said waving to them as you walked out the door.
"See ya!" The blond said with that tired voice of his.
"Yeah, see ya." The other two trailed along.
You knew you probably wouldn't see them again because you're always so hung up with school. It didn't really matter to you anyways, they were just some random band at the bar.
Little did you know, the ash blond, Katsuki Bakugou, thought you were absolutely stunning. With that perfect h/l, h/c hair of yours, your big, e/c eyes, and your little smile, you were nothing but perfect to him. You were stuck in his mind for the next few weeks. You weren't some crazy little fake fan girl looking to fuck for once. You seemed genuine.
You had pinned the schedule he gave you onto the cork board in your dorm. Although you didn't really care too much to go and see them again, maybe it would be nice to check and see if they're still playing at L Street Tavern when you get back.
Only a couple days later you got on the bus to New York. It was a long ride, but it was worth it all in the end. You desperately wanted to see your family after 4 long months of living alone at school.
~
A couple weeks after your encounter with Katsuki Bakugou you still hadn't left his mind. Your beautiful name was glued to his brain. He decided to tune up his guitar and start a song about you. He liked to get his thoughts out by writing songs. It calmed him. He started with a simple,
"Hey there y/n, what's it like in New York City? I'm a thousand miles away, but, girl, tonight you look so pretty." He thought it sounded cheesy, but he continued writing it anyways. He enjoyed the sound of a rough acoustic guitar against a sweet love song. He had never written a song like this before, it was all so new to him. He usually wrote songs about his anger or hate for people, usually engaging in more of a hard rock, or head bangers.
A couple days later he decided to find an open mic to play the song at. He was pretty proud of the new tune and couldn't help but share it. He found an open mic session at a small family owned restaurant right around the corner from L Street Tavern. He was worried you might show up and hear the song, but he remembered, you were staying in New York for a pretty long time.
The night of the open mic had come. He stepped into the tiny restaurant and sat down at a table with his guitar. There was quite a few people at the restaurant that night. He hoped they would like his newly crafted love song.
Eventually, he stepped into the space with the cheap microphone and pulled his guitar strap over his shoulder.
"I wrote this song for a girl that's been stuck in my mind for the past few weeks. I hope you enjoy." He said into the microphone.
Authors note - Hey, I would suggest maybe listening to Hey There Delilah by Plain White Ts during this part :) okay back to the story.
He started gently strumming his guitar to a rhythm.
"Hey there y/n what's it like in New York City? I'm a thousand miles away, but, girl, tonight you look so pretty. Yes you do. Times square can't shine as bright as you. I swear, it's true." He began the song with his lazy guitar playing. He continued the song. He could tell most of the people in the restaurant enjoyed the honesty behind the lyrics. It made him happy someone was enjoying his work.
"Hey there, y/n. Don't you worry about the distance. I'm right there if you get lonely. Give this song another listen. Close your eyes. Listen to my voice, it's my disguise. I'm by your side." He sang under his gruff voice.
"Oh, it's what you do to me. Oh, it's what you do to me. Oh, it's what you do to me. Oh, it's what you do to me. What you do to me." He led on with the catchy bridge.
"Hey there, y/n. I know times are gettin' hard. But just believe me, girl. Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar. We'll have it good. We'll have the life we knew we would. My word is good." Bakugou carried on.
"Hey there, y/n. I've got so much left to say. If every simple song I wrote to you. Would take your breath away. I'd write it all. Even more in love with me you'd fall. We'd have it all." He went on, after that singing the bridge again.
"A thousand miles seems pretty far. But they've got planes and trains and cars. I'd walk to you if I had no other way. Our friends would all make fun of us. And we'll just laugh along because we'd know. That none of them have felt this way. Y/n, I can promise you. That by the time that we get through. The world will never ever be the same. And you're to blame." He sang emotionally while strumming along.
"Hey there, y/n. You be good, and don't you miss me. Two more years and you'll be done with school. And I'll be makin' history like I do. You know it's all because of you. We can do whatever we want to. Hey there, y/n, here's to you. This one's for you." After this he slowly ended the lovely song with the bridge,
"Oh, it's what you do to me. Oh, it's what you do to me. Oh, it's what you do to me. Oh, it's what you do to me. What you do to me, oh oh, woah, woah. Oh woah, oh. Oh." He sang softly, ending the song by strumming all of the strings on his beat up guitar.
After he had finished the sweet tune someone came up to him.
"Hey kid, that song you played was actually pretty good. The lyrics and rhythm were amazingly catchy. No one can ever go wrong with a classic love song. Maybe I can help you get big. I know some people in the industry. I came here to find some new musicians, actually." The mysterious figure said to him.
Bakugou was in shock. He knew people liked his music. But not to the point where somebody like this would notice him. Especially this song. It was just some overly cheesy love song.
"Thanks." He said not knowing what to say. He was speechless.
"Here, give me a call." He said while slipping his business card over to the blond.
Of course later that night he couldn't help but call the guy. He had never heard anything like this from someone.
~
Y/n was nearing the end of her trip. She was sitting in her Mother's car on the way to the bus station back to Boston. She couldn't help but over hear the radio.
"Hey we have a new love song from this band called Sex Bob Omb. I thought it was pretty good, how about we give it a play." You couldn't believe what you just heard, so you immediately turned up the volume on the radio. You could hear that spiky blond's classic voice over the sound of a relaxed, acoustic guitar. It seemed very unlike the band to have a song like this, or even be on the radio.
"Hey there y/n, what's it like in New York City? I'm a thousand miles away, but, girl, tonight you look so pretty. Yes you do." The song started out gently. You jumped at these lyrics. You thought you were dreaming. But you weren't...
"Mom, I think this song is about me..." You said trying not to sound insane.
"Sweetie, it's just some song on the radio I'm sure you're over thinking it." She said calmly.
"No, Mom, I saw this band at the tavern a few weeks ago. The lead singer was talking to me at the bar." You denied her.
"I'm sure it's just a coincidence." She said keeping her eye on the road.
"Times Square can't shine as bright as you. I swear, it's true." You softened at these lyrics. The way he wrote them... It made you feel like you were the only girl in the world that mattered.
"Hey there, y/n. Don't you worry about the distance. I'm right there if you get lonely. Give this song another listen. Close your eyes. Listen to my voice, it's my disguise. I'm by your side." You couldn't help but feel like he was actually by your side, like he stated. You wished he could sing this to you, with that guitar of his, while looking you in the eyes. You really were falling for some mysterious guy. You would have never thought you would fall for some rebellious band member... or someone that you barely even knew. Music had never moved you in a way like this, it was so connecting, yet unexpected.
Finally, You had made it back to your campus. You rushed up to your dorm to see that schedule he gave you. You wanted to see him again. The lyrics of the song made you melt. It warmed your heart. Making you fall for the random blond even more. Thankfully, the band was booked pretty far ahead on the schedule.
A few nights later you caught yourself back at L Street Tavern hoping to see them there. You were sure they wouldn't be there now that they had made it on the radio. But it didn't hurt to try and see if they would be there.
Unexpectedly you heard the sweet voice of the girl scream,
  "WE ARE SEX BOB OMB!"
You turned around and made eye contact with the blond. His face flourished red. You couldn't stop staring into his glistening crimson eyes.
"Wait, it's y/n." He said walking over to you, stopping the other band members.
"The girl you wrote the song about? I thought that was just a made up name." The red hair said furrowing his eyebrows.
"You came..." He said looking into your love struck eyes.
I really wanted to make a story inspired by this song so I hope you liked it. :)
Please comment some more songs you would like me to write stories about.
Also yes I got the name Sex Bob Omb and the song they sang is from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World hehe. Also, L Street Tavern is a real bar in Boston!

The fluffy haired boy had finally worked up the courage to ask you out, although he didn't tell you where you two would be going. He was so flustered when he asked you. His face was so red it looked like he was going to explode. He mixed up quite a few words too. Of course, you couldn't say no to those precious little eyes of his. If it wasn't for how bad you felt for him then you probably would've said no. You barely even knew him, but you knew it took him a lot of confidence to ask you out. Most of your friends had picked on you for saying yes.
Izuku was pretty shy and most definitely a nerd. His hair always looked like he just rolled out of bed. And, well, his fashion choices were.... okay. A couple people would pick on him sometimes, but not too often. You could tell he was pretty smart, but most of the time he seemed kinda awkward. As expected your friends would prefer you to go out with a popular boy that's on varsity teams and always pays attention to his looks. You would probably prefer that too, but you didn't want to hurt the little green haired boys feelings. You knew he was a pretty delicate boy.
A couple months ago your boyfriend had broken up with you. He had brown fluffy hair that always looked perfect and shining blue eyes. He was on the varsity football team of course too, his dad was the coach. He was nothing but perfect to you... well at least you thought. Your friend had set the two of you up at a football game several months ago in the fall. You liked him a lot especially because of how most girls were jealous you were dating him. It made you feel above everyone else. He was pretty nice but sometimes he would pick on other kids. Not harshly though. A couple months ago he had started to slowly ignore you. You took the hint and you haven't talked since. He found another girl. She was about 5'7 with beautiful long caramel hair. She had perfect skin and her body's curves were sure to make any boy swoon. Every time she walked past you could smell the sweet sent of expensive perfumes. She was any boys dream girl. The way he had just forgotten about you left a gaping hole in your heart. You're still not over him. His name just makes your stomach swirl in sickness.
Izuku Midoriya is smart enough not to go for bitchy popular girls, but he knew you were different. You were much nicer than the rest of them and he could tell you especially hated it when they picked on people like him. Sometimes it made you giggle though, which you felt wrong for doing. You didn't really act as cocky or stuck up as the rest of them either which confused him. He thought you were just absolutely stunning with that luscious h/c hair and those bright e/c eyes. During class he would always study your features in awe. He felt as if you were almost trapped in the world of popularity. He knew he could never get with someone that's friends with the populars, but he couldn't help but try.
It was a Saturday night and for the past half hour you had been working on getting ready. You were dressed in a comfy crew neck and a light colored skirt. You only had light makeup on, just some lipgloss and mascara, you didn't really need to impress the boy too much. You and your friends group chat was blowing up that night, they wouldn't stop teasing you about your little date. You ignored the messages, it annoyed you how petty they were sometimes, although you could agree with most of the things they were saying. You were startled as you heard a quiet knock on your front door.
"Sweetie! I think your somebody might be at the door!!!" Your mom said sweetly.
"Coming!" You yelled out from your room quickly finishing your mascara. You sighed and walked out of your room and to the front door. You slowly turned the door knob and opened it to the boy, as expected with his wild evergreen hair and his lazy outfit.
"Hi, y/n." He said almost shaking from nervousness.
"Hi!" You said with a smile. His cheeks were growing furiously red and he was trying his best to hide it. It made you giggle a bit.
"I'll be back Mom! Bye!!" You said as you quickly shut the door behind you.
"So, you never told me where we're going." You said trying to break the silence because you knew he was too scared to speak.
"Oh.. uh I thought we could go to one of my favorite places." He said shyly scratching the back of his neck.
"And where's that?" You asked curiously.
"It's a surprise." He said trying to hide his blushing face once again. He couldn't believe he was even talking to a girl like you.
"What's that you have?" You asked pointing to the long box in his hand. You really hoped he didn't get you a present. You already felt bad enough.
"You'll see." He said while starting to walk on the sidewalk.
"How long will it take to get there?" You questioned him.
"Only a few minutes." He said looking down at his feet.
You two silently walked along the sidewalk in the brisk night to your destination. It was pretty awkward but you dealt with it.
Finally you had arrived next to a cement wall. It didn't look too exciting. It was pretty confusing as to why he would bring you here. It looked like the outside of a dump.
"Here I'll help you over the wall." He said nervously.
"What? We're climbing that wall? I mean I don't usually scale walls on dates. You're nuts." You said sassily.
"Come on you can do it." He said trying to encourage you.
You ran up to the wall on your tip toes peering over it.
"Woah..." You said underneath your breath.
"Neat, right?" He said walking up next to you.
"What even is this place?" You said gazing over the wide field.
"It's the plane graveyard." He said trying not to sound too nerdy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Here's some pics if you don't know what a plane graveyard looks like. It's basically where they bring a bunch of old planes from wars and stuff.)
He grabbed your waist gently and helped you over the wall. He was trying so hard for his face not to turn extremely red. He then jumped over the wall after you. He led you over to one of the planes, stroking it as he walked by.
"This is the real history, not the stuff we see in those history books." He said studying the plane.
"Wait, are these real bullet holes?" You asked closely examining the holes in the metal. He smiled at you, he didn't know you would actually find this interesting.
"Yep!" He responded, walking over to the next plane.
He dragged his hand along the wing of the next plane as he walked towards it. You tried to too but you couldn't reach since you were just a bit shorter than him.
"The Navy found this one last year off the coast of Japan." He said looking at the wreckage.
"They did a corrosion study on it... after 40 years at the bottom of the ocean this is all it rusted." He said focusing on the front of the plane.
"Our grandparents sure knew how to make stuff." He admired the plane with only a few spots of rust.
"H- how do you know all of this stuff?" You asked looking up at him.
"Well, a pilot from 44, came back a few weeks ago to look at this. He stood here and looked at this thing the whole day..." He replied while taking a few steps back to take in the sight of the whole plane.
You looked at him in shock. You knew he was smart, but you didn't know he knew all of this.
"Hey! come on." He said jumping into the plane.
"A- are you sure we're allowed to do that." You said starting to get nervous.
"Yeah, nobody ever comes here anyways." He said waving you over.
You sighed and jumped into the seat next to him.
He opened the slim box he had been lugging around, only to see a small telescope.
"Here." He said handing it to you.
You gently took the telescope into your hands. You looked up into the dark night sky through it.
"Oh my god... look at all those mountains up there." You said fascinated while studying the bright full moon through the telescope.
"And valleys, canyons, and planes..." He trailed on.
"What's that thing up there that looks like a... star sapphire? What's that?" You said studying the different sections of the full moon.
"An asteroid hit there... it made a crack in the moon 100 times the size of the grand canyon." He said looking over at your precious face.
"And... on the right is the sea of tranquility. The first space ship from earth landed there. The day I was born..." He said looking back up at the sky.
"That's why you're so into astrology, right?" You said passing the telescope back to him.
"Astronomy." He corrected you softly.
"No, well up there it's just a future world..." He said looking into the telescope.
"By the time I'm my Dads age, people will be living there, and working. Maybe even us..." He continued on, placing the telescope on his lap looking back into the shining stars.
(Queue music. I would suggest listening to Eclipse by Pink Floyd right now.)
You looked over at him and gazed into his dark green eyes. You couldn't help feel fascinated by the way he explained those things. You weren't much of a person to be interested in space, but there was something about the way he stated these things. Were you falling for some nerd you barely even knew? You questioned yourself. It couldn't be. But nobody had ever done something like this before for you. It was a whole new feeling. For sure your old boyfriend would've never gone out of his way to do something like this, let alone even know anything about astronomy.
You two sat in silence for a few minutes gazing up at the thousands of stars in the late sky. You looked over at him and smiled a bit. He jumped a little when he realized you were looking at him.
"Oh, sorry." You said looking away.
"The moon, it looks different now... It's not as mysterious or romantic." You said playing with your hair.
"Well I'm sorry I ruined it for you." He said quietly looking down to his feet.
"You didn't ruin it, you just changed it, I guess..." You said staring into the big moon.
"You know... I had never actually studied the sky like this. Because of you, I think I have a whole different perspective on it now..." You said still admiring the different sections of the starry sky.
"What do you mean by perspective..." He asked in shock. He didn't know he would have this much of an effect on you.
"Like, I didn't know there was so much to look at... It's actually pretty interesting." You said pointing to each star trying to count them.
He gently smiled at you.
"You're different." You said.
"W- what?" He said confused.
"All of my friends think you're just some little loser. They pick at you all the time. Before this I thought you were just some random nerd that cared way too much about school." You said with a saddened expression.
"Yeah... I know." He said looking down, scratching the back of his neck.
"You're not though..." You trailed on.
"W- what do you mean?" He stuttered.
"You're actually pretty interesting. Now that I realize it... there's a lot more to you than what people say. You're pretty cool, you know." You said looking down at your feet.
"Oh, I- I didn't know you thought I was c- cool..." He said still stuttering.
"Could you ever count how many stars there are up there?" You questioned him, changing the subject.
"No." He giggled at you.
"Actually, theres supposed to be a solar eclipse happening soon... maybe we could go see it." He said turning around to look at your e/c eyes.
"That sounds pretty intriguing... How about, make it a date." You said looking over at him. You were actually pretty interested in him. He was much more than you thought before. Your friends were all wrong. Even if he is just some nerd like they all say, he really knew how to make you feel... special.
His eyes had lit up from your response.
"Uh... yeah sure." He said rushing his words while looking away trying to hide his rosy cheeks.
"Oh my gosh... it's already 9..." You said while looking down at your watch.
"Wait... that's a pretty nice watch." He said looking over to see it.
"Oh yeah... it was my grandfathers. Actually he was in the Vietnam War." You said moving your finger around the rim of your watch.
"Well, he must of been a great man." He said while jumping out of the plane onto the dirt.
You two had walked home that night, holding hands, while still studying the night sky. That night he had changed your whole perceptive on humanity. From now on you wouldn't focus on what everyone else said about someone. If you wanted to know they type of person someone was you would get to know them, not base them off of what everyone else said. Although your friends weren't thrilled by the fact you were falling for the schools so called loser, he was nothing but perfect to you. That night Izuku Midoriya had faded all of the thoughts of your old boyfriend away. He was different from the other boys... in a good way.
AAAA okay that was kind of cheesy but I hope you liked it. :)

Kiribaku Drabble
Here’s a quick kiribaku drabble I wrote, and I’m honestly thinking about turning it into a full story. Maybe even a bakudeku story because I think the last line would fit it perfectly, although I’m more of a kiribaku person so idk. It’s based off the song The Less I Know the Better, fyi.
“Someone said they left together...” he continued.
“Wait what?” Kirishima said in heart ridden shock, while turning around to burst open the doorway. He was holding hands with Aimi. The world around him stopped.
“Heyyyy!!! Earth to Kirishima!!!” Denki waved his hand in-front of Kiri. Kirishima jumped at Denki’s movement.
“Pull yourself together man, I mean they seem pretty happy together. Shouldn’t you be supporting your friend for anything.” Denki tried to uplift him.
“That would be the manly thing to do... But you, you w-“ Denki cut him off...
“You should try your luck with Hotaru... Don’t you sit next to her in Biology?” Denki asked him, smirking.
“They slept together... Denki.” Kirishima said, looking down at his feet stumbling back to the dorm rooms.
“Oh, the less I know the better.” He thought to himself while dragging through the halls.
-
Kiri sighed while nuzzling his head into his pillow. He was love stricken, by him. Why him? Why out of everybody, his heart chose him. Can’t the boy tell he’s constantly on Kirishima’s mind?
-
“Look, Kirishima we can all see it...” Denki looked at Kirishima.
“Dude, What do you mean?” He responded
“You like him.”
“I don’t know man...” Kirishima scratched the back of his neck.
“Just wait a little bit... You’ll be together.” Denki walked away.
-
He was doing fine without his friend always by his side, constantly avoiding him. Till he saw his eyes turn away from his.
“Is this who you are now?”
“Come on Superman say your stupid line.”

For my history class we had to write the continuation of a passage we were given. I’m honestly kind of proud of what I’ve written, considering the passage didn’t hold much information. So I’ve decided to post it here.
Each step we took to the barn my heart ran even faster. "Are you sure you believe in freedom, Mr. Hutchenson?" He said. "Don't ask again" Hutchenson replied dragging him closer to the barn door. He knew Hutchenson had said that just to lead him on even further. Although somewhere in his heart he still felt trust in Hutchenson. The closer they got the clearer the gunshots were. The sickest feeling had grown in his stomach at the sounds of bullets cracking. He didn't want to die. Not today, he didn't do anything wrong, not the slightest bit. The thought still questioned over his mind if Hutchenson did actually believe in freedom, until Hutchenson pushed Tiberius forward, and the world went dark.

Kirishima x Bakugou
Part 1/3
Word count: 410
Warnings: none
Tumblr media
He stared amongst the dull white ceiling above him. It was almost as if he was looking in the mirror, he felt lifeless, and blunt. The taste of saline slowly, but constantly, dripping towards the corners of his lips. “I shouldn’t have came on too strong... Should I have waited longer?”
-
“Pairing number two... Uhhh, let’s see... Here it is! Mr. Kirishima and Mr. Bakugou.” Present Mic announced in that classically loud tone of his. Kirishima turned around to search for his pouty friend.
“Hey!!! Bakugou!! Over here man!!!” He shouted over the crowd waving his arm. Bakugou headed over to the sharp smiled boy with his constant anger swirling over his face.
“Today we will be doing rescue training! Remember those actors you encountered during the Provisional License Exams? They’ll be scattered around this rescue facility today. You and your partner should work together to safely bring them to the first aid center. Remember! You WILL be graded on this assignment!!!” Present Mic explained on... “Timer starts... NOW!!!”
“What!? No one said they would be timing this thing?” Kaminari complained from the back side of the clump.
The mob of class 1-A rushed to the different areas of the facility. The jolly crimson hair and angsty blonde, polar opposites, lead themselves over to the city setting.
“Let’s roast these damn weirdos.” Bakugou growled to Kirishima. As much as Kirishima admired his confidence...
“Bakugou you do know there won’t be any villains, right?” Kirishima questioned the muscular boy next to him.
“What type of training course like this doesn’t have villains?” Bakugou scoffed at Kirishima, annoyed.
“We’re only focusing on rescuing the people I guess...” Kirishima trailed along.
“Well, this oughta be boring...” Bakugou rolled his eyes. Kirishima slightly laughed at him.
An explosion grew out of the pouty boy’s hand as he disassembled the building with the strong force.
“Geez, Bakugou come on we don’t want to explode the people!” Kirishima said while pushing Bakugou back.
“It’s fine, they’re just actors. Our quirks aren't really meant for these types of things anyways. Now let’s rescue these cry babies.” Bakugou said confidently.
For a moment Kirishima was able to take in the tall, muscular, explosive, blonde boy’s dependence in himself. He truly favored his personality like no one else. The way he never doubted himself, his beaming confidence, it always left Kirishima jealous. He just couldn’t shake these constant feelings he had about him. They never left his mind...
This is just a brief introduction to the story I would say, but I  still decided to consider it part 1. I hope you guys look forward to the next parts. :)
Decided to discontinue due to no inspiration :/

Despair In the Departure Lounge
Bakugou x reader
Word count: 1045
Warnings: None
Tumblr media
Working as a hero sometimes requires a whole ton of traveling. Most of the time it was pretty stressful for your beloved boyfriend, Katsuki. Knowing this you had always waited for Bakugou in the departure lounge of the airport. Every time he stepped out of the tunnel connecting the building to the aero plane, you would run up and embrace him a warm hug, showering him with kisses. He loved how much you cared about him. You meant the whole world to him. Just thinking about you would make his heart flutter in emotion.
Recently though, Bakugou had won big. After helping defeat a massive villain attack he had gained quite a lot of fame. Before this he wasn't that popular of a hero which annoyed his narcissistic self quite a lot, but now he has all that he could ask for, except you. After the big burst in popularity he wasn't home as often, he was out doing hero work a lot more. With this your three-year relationship started to slowly fade, until one day you just felt as if you didn't even know him anymore. Katsuki would now only come home late at night, so late you were already asleep, and would leave bright in the morning before you could even get the chance to wake up. You had tried to match your sleep schedule up with his, but you just couldn't, it was too screwy. Every time you two could get the chance to sit down for dinner or just relax on the couch, it seemed as if seconds later he was called out to do hero work. You knew it wouldn't be the right thing to do if you just left, you loved him, but you couldn't stand living with him anymore. It wasn't like it used to be. Eventually one day you packed all of your belongings and left to live back with your parents. It was a huge relief, although you still felt so much guilt. You haven't heard from Bakugou since...
A couple days after you had left him, Katsuki had a flight into Edinburgh for an interview. He still hadn't gotten over you. Your name was glued to his mind every second, burning a deep hole in his heart. He knew that your relationship was stretched thin and there was nothing left, there was no point in reaching out to you. Bakugou wished he could've just dropped all of his hero work, but he couldn't have at this rate. The boy was being called in for interviews left and right and of course so many places needed him, as villains were heavily impacting the area. He had truly loved the fame and glory, that soon had faded away as it had ruined one of his most beloved relationships, and there was no going back.
Bakugou had been taking one last stroll through Tokyo before his lengthy flight to Scottland. He was pining for you at this moment. Of course, there was the stunning, modern architecture of Japan surrounding him, but even that wouldn't take his mind off you. The architectural aspects of a city or a town can say so much, it usually was quite interesting to him, but not today. You were the only thing interesting to him right now. He missed your funny jokes and that cute little laugh of yours, and oddly enough the architecture around him doesn't hold that.
The complications of airport security had made him forget about you for a little bit. Of course not soon later, he had the feeling of despair again, this time on the aero plane. He was once again left to his own thoughts surrounding him like the falling leaves of Autumn, one after another, constantly appearing.
As expected there were tellies in the back of the seats, playing those classically funny sitcoms, which caught his attention. It helped a little to take his minds off the aches and the pains. A couple scenes of the program had made him giggle a bit, but he still felt that same feeling of sorrow, because you aren't there to hold his hand, you won't be waiting for him when he lands.
As the flight carried farther away from Tokyo, his stomach grew more ill. The architecture of Japan that reminded him of you was slowly fading away from the window, making him miss you even more.
He couldn't stop recalling this moment from while he was strolling through the Tokyo streets before. He had seen a girl that looked like you with your h/l, h/c hair. He had sworn it was you. Katsuki had even almost shouted across the way, but then she turned around, and it in fact was not that adorably cute face of yours, making his stomach terribly sick, even more.
Still, the winning man inside of him ached. Anyone else would've longed for the fame he had gained over night, but he wished he could just throw it all in the rubbish bin.
The need for you had been churning through his stomach the whole flight. Bakugou had almost felt as if he was terribly ill. He walked out of the aero plane, into the longing tunnel connecting it to the building, head down to his feet in despair. As he looked up when he exited the tunnel, he saw no one other than, you.
You had made sure to buy tickets ahead of time, as you knew from earlier he would be traveling to Edinburgh for an interview. You couldn't leave him like this, you could see during interviews he struggled to answer simple questions. You knew his health was steeply going down hill after you left. The thought of him like this made you feel more guilt and regret than ever.
You had quickly ran into him and engulfed him into a great hug. His salty tears poured onto you. This over whelming collide of emotions was like nothing someone had ever experienced before.
"I love you, y/n, please don't ever leave again whatever I do." He weeped into you, his words barely making it out.

Why Would You Ever Kiss Me?
(A Short Bakugou Fanfic).
- Based on the song Heather by Conan Gray
Word count: 1300
Warnings: none
You and the ash blond, Bakugou, had been developing a close knitted relationship. You knew you two were just friends, but you couldn't help but think more of it.
He had kissed you once while you two were hanging out with some friends. You might've had a couple beers that night, but there was still something about it that made you feel special. The moment he had connected to your lips it felt like a bond made from heaven, even though the kiss only lasted a few seconds. All you remember happening after the kiss was a few seconds of awkward silence while staring into each others eyes. His precious crimson eyes in that moment stuck in your head forever.
Most people considered his personality flaming garbage, but most of his cheesy remarks made you giggle. You just knew in your heart he loved the way you giggled at his jokes no one else did, and the way you could put up with his anger issues. You also knew he loved how much of a wise ass you were. The way you would tease him about things. But, every time after these thoughts crossed your mind you had to remind your self you're just friends.
On the third of December a few months ago on the way back from school, Bakugou had let you borrow his sweater. You two were walking through the park and glistening snowflakes were falling with a cold breeze. He offered you it as he could tell you were shivering. "Hey look at that, it looks better on you!" he said with a hand motion, as you pulled the sweater over your head onto your torso. You slightly smiled and continued to walk through the park. At the end of the walk you kindly returned his sweater before you entered your home. You can still remember the scent of his cologne on the sweater. The scent had almost calmed you while the sweater was on you. If only he knew how much you liked him...
You and Bakugou were sitting on the bench in the park waiting for your friend Mina so you could continue the walk to school. While you were sitting there waiting in silence, Momo Yaoyorozu walked by. You couldn't help but study her beauty. Her dark hair and her amazing figure was stunning. You looked over to see the blond's eyes glued to her. He was almost in a trance looking at her. Your heart dropped at the sight of this.
Then suddenly Momo looked over to bakugou and said, "Hey, Bakugou!"
"Hey Yaoyorozu." He said and got up to talk to her. It felt like you were slowly fading away. All of the emotion had left your body. The sight of seeing him with a girl as perfect as Momo made you feel hurt. You weren't aware that he would've even wanted to be friends with her, let alone talk to her.
You thought he would respond with his classic, "Go away extra." Or something cocky like that. But he didn't seem like his usual self. He seemed all fluffed up around her.
"I think I left something at home." You muttered to Bakugou and rushed off.
"Oh, I'll see you at school I guess then." He said and turned around to talk to Momo. She's almost got him mesmerized you had thought. She's such a sight for sore eyes with her perfect hair and skin and eyes and just everything. It made you so angry at her. But you couldn't be angry at her she's such an angel with that sweet tone of hers and how she's always there to help everyone.
You looked behind you one last time to see him with his arm around Yaoyorozu's shoulder. A cool breeze rushed through your body at this sight. You didn't know what you were feeling. You were feeling so many emotions at once. Anger, jealousy, sadness, and just so many more. A headache formed in your head as so many different thoughts swarmed your mind. It felt like you were slowly dying.
As soon as you got a good distance from the park you decided to start walking back to school as you actually didn't forget something. It was just a lousy excuse to get away from the two.
In class you looked over to see Momo wearing the same sweater of Bakugou's you wore on December third. Your heart dropped even more. You couldn't focus in class at all. The only thoughts that were going through your mind were how she got the sweater, how her and Bakugou became closer, if they were dating, if Bakugou knew you liked him, and hundreds more. You just wanted to go home and drown yourself in tears, you couldn't handle this.
You were walking in the hall to your locker to collect your things at the end of the day as the crimson eyed boy rushed up behind you and said, "Hey y/n." You just sighed and continued walking.
"What's wrong?" He asked. You just continued walking. You didn't want to talk to anyone today, especially him, after what had happened this morning.
As you walked through the park on your way home it made your heart collapse at the sight of where they were standing that morning. Eventually Bakugou had caught up to you.
"Look, y/n what's wrong, I'm not trying to be a jerk for once." You turned around, tears forming in your eyes.
"Why would you ever kiss me, I'm not even half as pretty." you struggled to say, looking down, as tears poured down your face, and your nose stuffed up.
"What are you talking about?" He snapped back at you. His eyes widened when he came to realization. Putting the two sides of the story together.
"Oh..." He said under his breath as his expression saddened. "It's not like that I promise y/n..." He said all flustered.
"You gave her your sweater." You said cutting him off.
"It's just polyester!" He snapped back at you again.
"But you like her better..." You said turning around, starting to walk again.
He rushed up in-front of you and said, "No I don't." As he picked up your face and embraced you in a warm kiss. You froze, you didn't know what to do... but eventually you kissed back. You parted after a couple of seconds. Your heart was slowly piecing back together at this moment.
"I'm sorry" he said sadly as he wrapped his arm around you walking you home. "Now that I realize it, she is perfect and all... but she's not perfect for me... you are. I need someone who understands me and knows me... like you." You looked up at him, a tear slipping out of your eye. He pulled you closer and stopped dead in his tracks and hugged you. You had never seen him like this before. It's like some sort of emotion struck him that he couldn't help...
"Where did this Bakugou come from?" You said, smirking, punching him in the stomach.
"Shut up, idiot, I can be emotional too sometimes." He said angrily. You two laughed and continued walking.
Little did you know Momo Yaoyorozu had been watching you from a distance this whole time.
"I was I were y/n..." She had whispered under her breath as she saw you and Katsuki Bakugou passionately kiss.
This is my first fanfic so, I hope you guys enjoyed it :)
(I'm so sorry Momo I love you and all, but this is pay back for stealing Shoto from all of us).
Also please leave me some ideas and requests. :)))
